As I was meditating upon The LORD, He spoke to me how that many who are in ministry, have hundreds of people following them — but all the people see them as, is a place of entertainment!

As I listened closer to The LORD, I realized that God was not so much pleased with the fact that these were mega churches or denominations — and NOT that I am kicking against that — but His controversy was the fact that the people were NOT experiencing any kind of transformation or change, who sat under these prophets!

This was also why God began to speak to Ezekiel, saying to warn the people, that when war came, if the people where not prepared because the watchman refused to sound the trumpet, the blood was going to be on the hands of that watchman.

But, if Ezekiel warned the people and they refused to listen after hearing the Word, then the blood would be required not of the prophet’s hand, but of the people themselves!

The LORD said to Ezekiel,

“As for you, son of man, you’ve become quite the talk of the town. Your people meet on street corners and in front of their houses and say, ‘Let’s go hear the latest news from GOD.’ They show up, as people tend to do, and sit in your company. They listen to you speak, but don’t do a thing you say. They flatter you with compliments, but all they care about is making money and getting ahead. To them you’re merely entertainment-a country singer of sad love songs, playing a guitar. They love to hear you talk, but nothing comes of it. “But when all this happens-and it is going to happen! — they’ll realize that a prophet was among them,” (Ezekiel 33:30-33 MSG)

My heart weeps, because many of you sit day-in and day-out getting good preaching, teaching and Words from God’s messengers, but the sad thing is, God is going to hold each one of you accountable and responsible for EVERY Word that falls out the man or woman of God’s mouth, that you have heard!

“And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared NOT himself, NEITHER did according to his will, shall be beaten with MANY stripes.

But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with FEW stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more,” (Luke 12 47-48).

For it is not so much as the size of the ministry that God is looking at, but whether or not the people are being transformed and have their been any changes of heart before God, as disciples of Christ!

Ezekiel, according to God, had been promoted and elevated not only before God, but also before the people who had begun to hear that he was a man called by God to speak prophetically, because scripture says,

“As for you, son of man, you’ve become quite the talk of the town. Your people meet on street corners and in front of their houses and say, ‘Let’s go hear the latest news from GOD,” (Ezekiel 33:31-32 MSG part).

But they had begun to see him as being a “familiar” voice. One that according to God was merely entertainment-a country singer of sad love songs, playing a guitar, (Ezekiel 33:31-32 MSG part).

Sometimes, God has to pull the prophets aside and away for a season, because the people will loose respect for the man or woman of God, when all they want is a Prophetic Word, and or entertainment, instead of having a spiritual operation that brings about a heart transplant in the spirit.

But God began to speak to Ezekiel to let him know that the Words which he spoke, not one of them would fall to the ground, because at the end of the day, they were going to know it was He who sent a Prophet among them!

So I believe God is saying that it behooves each and every one of us to know that time wasted is time which you could have used to allow God’s Word to permeate and to become seed planted in hearts, to bring about birthings!

Many of you are taking for granted God’s Word and His Prophets (and so the seed is falling to un-plowed ground), whom He is sending.

Just as God spoke to Ezekiel, every word on that day when the books are opened, God is going to remind you of, just what was said and just what you did not take heed to, but all that which He sent the Prophets to speak, in order to plow up the bad soil in your life, so as to bring forth good fruit!

It is time to wake up and to realize that this is not some type of Hollywood concert where the people of God become famous and you are the star.

But it is souls that are at stake and that Satan is after! Not fame, fortune, your power or your wealth.

None of those things matters to him!
