When you seek My Kingdom first, what do you expect to find?
Seek and you shall find is a kingdom promise, but do you know what you are going to find? Well let Me give you an idea. “My kingdom is not meat and drink, or money or lands and houses; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost,” Romans 14:17. If someone says they are a kingdom person and they are laying up treasures on this earth, they are not seeking My kingdom first.
Living with bitterness, or unforgivness, in your heart is not righteousness and therefore not of My kingdom. Living in fear and filled with anxiety is not peace and also not part of My kingdom. A lack of joy is an indication that you may be a citizen of the earthly kingdom.
When you seek and find My kingdom, you will no longer be searching for fulfillment, because in My Father’s heart is the kingdom. The kingdom is located in My Fathers heart! I am in My Father and My Father is in Me, and when you find the Kingdom, you will live and move and have your being in Me and want for nothing! Acts 17:28.
My kingdom on earth is not a place, but a state of being. The seed of the kingdom is within you, waiting for you to water it and submit your body and soul to it so that I can be greater in you than he that is in the world, Luke 17:21.
Doing good, and keeping very busy produce a counterfeit fulfillment based in doing instead of being, 2 Timothy 3:5.
Millions of good people fall into this doing trap and do not have an intimate relationship with Me or My Father. They are kingdom talkers but lack the power of the kingdom to demonstrate it! My kingdom is not in word, but in power, 1 Corinthians 4:20. Remember it’s relationship first, then the doing comes out of our relationship. It’s then Me, the greater one in you, overcoming the world.
If you are seeking first My kingdom you need to know what you are looking for, righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. When you find it, everyone will know it, and be drawn to it, because of the love that flows from you.
