When YOU see them in the Process, Pray!
When you see men and women of God going through a process, it is not time to bring judgement. It is time to Pray for them.
It may be you in the process the next time! Men and women of God need a safe place to be able to speak out their deepest fears and needs without others sitting around deciding why they are going through, what they are going through!
Time to Pray and not Judge
When you are in ministry, that list gets shorter. Your inner circle gets smaller, You find out who truly loves you and who you can trust during those times. The enemy is out to destroy all of us, so it is time to pull together! He wants to destroy all of our callings! Let’s get up off of our “High Horse” and be the one who prays for those going through…….
There are many going through great battles right now in the body of Christ and the last thing they need are Job’s comforters. God was not angry with Job for questioning Him and as Steve Shultz of “The Elijah List” talks about “Contending with Him,” but He was angry at those who came around and “tried to figure out” what was wrong with Job that he deserved this judgement from God.
Oh my, we just so want to be the Spiritual one… but the truth is, we do not know what God is doing unless He reveals it and even then, it is not time to judge, but God is showing this for you to pray for them.
God expects Forgiveness so that He can Bless you
I don’t know about you, but I have been guilty of being Job’s comforters in the past and I have been like Job in the matter. Even at that, God expects forgiveness from us toward those doing the judging. Why? Because He wants to bring His ultimate intention to everyone and that is to deliver all concerned from their fears and bondage, that is keeping back the double portion that Job received only after forgiving His friends.
Oh,come on somebody… It is time to grow up!
My Prayer:
Lord, we repent of being Job’s comforters and trying to figure out (judge) your dealings with our brothers and sisters.
We pray that you will bless them and heal them, while they are going through this process.
We pray that they will be ten times more effective when they come forth, so that your Kingdom will come in earth as it is in heaven! And Lord we forgive all of those who have judged us and tried to figure it out.
We know that they thought they were doing the right thing and even if they weren’t you are able to show them. We leave it all in your hands. In Jesus Name!!
“And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before,” Job 42:10.
“Therefore you have no excuse or justification, everyone of you who [hypocritically] judges and condemns others; for in passing judgment on another person, you condemn yourself, because you who judge [from a position of arrogance or self-righteousness] are habitually practicing the very same things [which you denounce],” Romans 2:1 AMP.
