When You Know Jesus Is Love
A Psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud,
When You Know Jesus Is Love
Everyday I wanna shine my best for You
To make You smile
Everyday I wanna put my best foot forward
To go the extra mile for You
The burden has fallen away
The guilt is gone
The past has been forgotten
By the One who took it all to the Cross
And paid for it in full
Oh, it’s easy to love when you know you are loved
When you feel Him changing you from the inside out
And that you’ve been redeemed
From every spot and wrinkle
That has cast a shadow upon your life
That your heart has been made whole
And can truly love again
Oh, it’s easy to love when you know Jesus is Love
Everyday I wanna celebrate my new life with You
To give You my all
Everyday I wanna love others
The way You love them
My heart has been softened
My soul has been restored
No more are the error of my bygone days
Truth and Love light The Way
His Grace has transformed me
Oh, it’s easy to love when you know you are loved
When you feel Him changing you from the inside out
And that you’ve been redeemed
From every spot and wrinkle
That has cast a shadow upon your life
That your heart has been made whole
And can truly love again
Oh, it’s easy to love when you know Jesus is Love
Jesus makes it easy to love
He removes all the snares
He replaces all the hurt
He erases all the regret
And what remains is His Love
Oh, it’s easy to love when you know you are loved
When you feel Him changing you from the inside out
And that you’ve been redeemed
From every spot and wrinkle
That has cast a shadow upon your life
That your heart has been made whole
And can truly love again
Oh, it’s easy to love when you know Jesus is Love
It’s easy to love
Oh, it’s easy to love
It’s easy to love
When you know Jesus is Love
“So that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish,” Ephesians 5:27.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love,” 1 Corinthians 13:1-13.
“Let all that you do be done in love,” 1 Corinthians 16:14.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life,” John 3:16.
“Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love,” 1 John 4:8.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another,” John 13:34-35.
“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony,” Colossians 3:14.
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets,”” Matthew 22:36-40.
