When you go where God tells you to go!
Yes, when you go where God tells you to go….
I must say that when it came to the trip to Louisiana, from the beginning, God was in control. All the way down to Him not allowing me to by a plane ticket, but having me to drive (yes, eleven hours!). I have always taught about the importance of only going where the Lord tells you, and to always obey His instructions.
From the beginning, the Lord told me that I would be up against much spiritual opposition in Louisiana, and I was instructed on how to pray and prepare. Louisiana has a history of demonic activity and oppression. And although I knew this conference was going to be much smaller than the one in Dallas, the spiritual warfare was ten times greater.
All the way up to the hour of the meeting, Satan was working overtime. But that only meant that those who came needed a great breakthrough, maybe even greater than those who came to Dallas. So my ministry crew and I pressed through at all cost. Once the meeting started, we took authority over all Satanic strongholds and hindering spirits, and the presence of God dropped like a ton of bricks.
Two days prior, the Lord told my mother to warn us of a few people in the midst, and not to let anyone touch me. The interesting thing is that there was a small group of ladies (3 or 4) who came, and before the service could even start, they left. They said that “the Holy Spirit was not felt”, but once they left, the Power of God moved.
The word that the Lord gave, pierced the hearts of all who came (and stayed). And at the end, ninety percent of room came up to the alter to dedicate and rededicate their lives to the Lord.
But the Lord wasn’t through yet!
My children traveled with me, and I was contemplating going to Houston afterwards, just to hang out and visit my girlfriends. But the Lord gave me no rest about it. He told me to head home, but to stop in Atlanta. This was easy gain, because my kids love Atlanta, we have friends there, and it’s only three hours from home. So yesterday, we left for Atlanta.
After checking in at the hotel, downtown, the kids and I decided to walk around, and find something to eat. We spotted a diner, and decided to grab something to take back to the hotel. The interesting thing is that when the valet parking attendee saw me, he tried to discourage me from walking. He wanted to bring my car. I told him I was fine, but he insisted that it was late, and that it wasn’t safe to walk around. I again told him I was fine, and had visited many times.
So as soon as we walked out of the diner with our food, a young man immediately approached me, with his hand wide open with change in it. He was mumbling, and I couldn’t make out his words, so I just said, “Sir, I’m sorry, but I don’t have any change on me.” But the man spoke up and said, “Ma’am, I only have four dollars and I want some chicken wings. I’m hungry. Will you please buy me some wings?” I looked him in his eyes for a moment, and then told him to come in the diner.
I ordered his food and while we were waiting, I could smell the alcohol on him. I turned around and told him to sit down. I began ministering to him about the salvation, deliverance and love of Christ.
The man instantly began to weep. I told him that it wasn’t in my plans to come to Atlanta, nor walk around downtown at night, but the Lord assigned this day specifically for him. In the end, the 36 year old man who had been addicted to crack-cocaine for ten years, gave his life to the Lord.
I took authority over the addiction spirits and alcoholism. And do you know that very smell lifted off of him? The man’s name is John, and I ask that every true believer cover him in prayer, so that the seed that was planted will stay on fertile soil.
YHVH-God is magnificent, wonderful, and more than worthy of praise.
Shalom
