When You Follow Peace, You Will Have Prefect Direction
Is your heart at complete peace?
It’s a VERY un-peaceful world out there right now!
Or, are your emotions up and down, characterized by anxiety, worry, or the more commonly used term these days “stress”?
If you answered ‘yes’ to the last part of the question, then don’t feel alone, that is the reality for many of today’s Christians.
“Does fear, anxiety, worry, panic, etc. characterize God?”
Of course not!
If it doesn’t characterize God, how can it characterize someone in whom He dwells and lives? 😳
With everything that is going on in the world, we as believers need to follow peace, and be the example that Jesus was when He walked on the earth.
Jesus had many things come against him, but He just took authority over the circumstances.
Jesus walked in peace. He did nothing, but what He saw the Father do.
Whenever we are obedient to the Word, peace rules. You too can have Peace in the midst of your storm!
Galatians 5:22 states,
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering (patience in hard circumstances), gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (self-control): against such there is no law.”
The peace that I am speaking about is not a world peace; it is the peace of God.
The world will never have peace! From this time on until we go home to be with The LORD, the world will be in turmoil.
I pray that each person that reads this will focus on the way of The Kingdom of God.
We must let peace be the “referee of our hearts”. If you are trying to make a decision about something in your life, you must follow peace.
If you don’t have peace about something you need to wait until you do!
My husband Steve and I have learned that if we don’t have peace about something we will not do it!
If you and your spouse are trying to make a decision on something in your life and one of you doesn’t have peace, keep praying and talking about your situation until peace is the central focus.
Many Christians are running around feeling defeated, but we can walk in the victorious life that Jesus died for. We must do what Jesus did!
“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but only does what he sees the Father do: for whatever he does, these also the Son does likewise,”” John 5:19.
Isaiah 26:3, states,
“You will keep the peace, a perfect peace, for all who trust in You, for those who dedicate their hearts and minds to You.”
This scripture says so much. If we keep focused on Jesus and obey His commandments we will walk in peace.
The Holy Spirit is our teacher and He guides us in all truth. He will let you know if a storm is coming and will show you what to do in the midst of the storm if you hear and obey.
That is where you walk in the peace in the midst of the storm.
Please take time to meditate on the scriptures below until you get them in your heart. Say them out loud, because faith comes by hearing!
“Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another,” Mark 9:50.
There they were. Jesus and His disciples crossing the lake.
“Suddenly a ferocious tempest arose, with violent winds and waves that were crashing into the boat until it was all but swamped.
But Jesus was calmly sleeping in the stern, resting on a cushion….
So they shook him awake, saying, “Teacher, don’t you even care that we are all about to die!”
Fully awake, He rebuked the storm and shouted to the sea, “Hush! Calm down!”
All at once the wind stopped howling and the water became perfectly calm.
Then He turned to His disciples and said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Haven’t you learned to trust yet?”
But they were overwhelmed with fear and awe and said to one another, “Who is this man who has such authority that even the wind and waves obey him?” Mark 4:37-41 TPT.
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid,” John 14:27.
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world you will have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world,” John 16:33.

True Mary…so true…peace the fruit of the Spirit is what I follow and when I do things fall into place…he will never lead us wrong when we follow his path of peace…..thank you for posting this teaching so badly needed in the body of Christ where most Christian’s do not discern anything…Peace is where God is
