Some times I wonder when the church will grow up!

I was walking my street couple of days ago and heard someone leading in prayers. His prayer for the congregation was, “Oh LORD make me more powerful than my enemies.” arrrrgh.. My heart boiled as I discovered it was the pastor himself leading in such prayers and the whole congregation were shouting and chanting the prayers, “Oh LORD make me more powerful than my enemies…..!” God, what nonsense!

How can the church grow when the pastors are not growing?

How can she grow healthily eating poorly nutritious meals?

No wonder most of the people in our little fellowships will pour a gallon of the blood of Jesus over the shadow of an innocent cockroach and command the fire of the Holy Ghost to consume it.

For God’s sake, we don’t have to waste precious times praying such prayers.

Well, its like priest like people. You see, the people are as good as their priest. If the pastors are matured in the word, it will reflect in the people.

Let me make this categorically clear, you are more powerful than any enemy even the devil himself!

The believer in Christ is more powerful than Adam, and the devil.

Adam was only given authority over the natural world, because as at the time before the fall, he had not opened the portal of the demonic world into the earth and had not handed his authority over.

He only knew of the natural world ‘earth.’ Jesus gave the believer three fold dimensional authority. Earth, beneath the earth and the heavens.

We operate in the Jesus class for we are seated with him in the heavenlies. We are seated in the heavenliest and dominate the earth. Together with him, the earth becomes our foot stool.

Oh God. When will our eyes open up to these ecclesiastical realities?

When will the believer in Jesus Christ ever come to the full knowledge of his place in Christ?

Adam’s position of authority was only on the earth, but we have dominion in three worlds, the earthly realm, the spirit realms and the heavenly realms!

Let us for once and all times put on Christ and tear away these stupid religiously garnished and coated teachings that appeals to the mind but paralyses our spiritual prowess!

Let’s bring back the word into the house of God!
