When the Trumpet Sounds, Why Would You Not Heed Its Warning?
“But as the days of No`e were so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that No`e entered into the ark,” Matthew 24:37-38.
“When will men and women call upon the Name of the LORD?
How long would it take before some would ask for help?
Would the mountains need to fall upon you first, or the seas rise to cover the land?
I tell you that if you wait too long, it will be too late for you.
When the trumpet sounds why would you not heed its warning?
Why would you not heed the words of my prophets that speak?
But go ahead, let complacency set it. I’m certain that all will be well for you.
I would rather that you would be prepared for what is coming.
I would rather that you would have eyes to see, but many of you are still wandering without a shepherd to guide you.
Who is it that would speak of the wrath that is to come?
Does a bird take heed and travel to its nest when a storm is coming?
I tell you that nature knows how to heed the warnings more than some of you. But no, you would rather take merriment and dance, and celebrate.
For as in the days of Noah, men were eating and drinking, and giving in marriage. The same could be said of this time.“
