When Loving the Creature More Than the Creator Is a Sin!
As I was meditating upon the LORD, He began to ponder the word Hollywood in my heart.
And as He did, I begin to ponder were exactly did this name come from, and it’s origins.
The LORD revealed to me that Hollywood came from the Irish, ‘a translation of Gaelic Ó Cuileannáin ‘descendant of Cuileannán’, a personal name from a diminutive of cuileann ‘holly tree: which is more commonly Anglicized as Cullinan,’ (©Ancestry.com).

The word holly came from the root word taken from the name of the holly tree, an evergreen whose stiff, glossy, sharp-pointed leaves and clusters of red berries are used in Christmas decorations.
The name is derived from the Old English holegn (to prick).
The berries of the holly plant are poisonous to people and pets. Swallowing them can cause vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration and drowsiness.
I guess now we see why Jesus cursed the fig tree, because it was out of timing and good for nothing! Except, in the case of the holly tree it is only good for decoration and entertainment.
Wood means hard fibrous material that forms the main substance of the trunk or branches of a tree or shrub.
This tree is symbolic for leader, shelter, evil influence, false worship, and covering.
However, Jesus references it as being a good covering and a place of production when it received the right nourishment and brought forth good fruit for others to partake of!
As I began to meditate upon the LORD, I realized that the holly tree has a great significance in the Bible when it comes to Idolatry and those that desire to look up and to gaze upon the tree to worship it (intent, and motives) and all that it brings to entertain.
Jeremiah 10:1-5 states,
“Listen to the Message that God is sending your way, House of Israel. Listen most carefully: “Don’t take the {godless nations} as your models. Don’t be impressed by their glamour and glitz, no matter how much they’re impressed. The religion of these peoples is nothing but smoke. An idol is nothing but a tree chopped down, then shaped by a woodsman’s ax. They trim it with tinsel and balls, use hammer and nails to keep it upright. It’s like a scarecrow in a cabbage patch — can’t talk! Dead wood that has to be carried — can’t walk! Don’t be impressed by such stuff. It’s useless for either good or evil.” (MSG)
For so many years many have seen this particular passage of scripture to condemn those participating in the holiday season, but God began to speak to me that the tree was symbolic for man, leadership, and covering!
Why? Because the tree in all its glory stood for the growth and the reproduction of man bringing forth fruit and an inheritance to those in the Kingdom!
Isn’t that what Hollywood was supposed to be all about? Reproduction, growth, beauty, glamour and glitz!
God is speaking and He is revealing everything He does, Satan’s job is to mimic it!
“For, Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
But, he said that blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he (man) shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; (produce ) and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit,” (Jeremiah 17:5-8).
Help is holy Ghost!
I believe that the LORD is speaking to the church in this season and He is saying loudly but clearly, that it is wrong for the people of God to worship, look up at and to gaze a tree; (man) especially Hollywood!
So many of God’s people are idolizing and mimicking Hollywood and want to be like them!
Some of you have went so far as to thinking they are as gods, all because God has granted them His talents and His gifts to sing, dance and to act!
But, in this season God is saying that, “You shall not bow down to other gods or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments,” Exodus 20:5-6.
Oh, I believe that God is calling the body of Christ back to their first love!
For, He is saying these trees (man) that clap their hands and blow in the wind and are decorated with berries (glamour and glitter) was made for His Glory and not another!
Are music and the arts wrong? No, but it was made for our enjoyment and not to place before God!
You see, it is not so much as the holly tree being bad but it is the wicked heart of man who decided to take his hands to tact a tree up high for the people of God to worship it!
For, I hear God saying, “Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity,” Joel 2:13.
Can any good thing come out of Hollywood? Yes! I believe God is getting ready to raise up some that will go into Hollywood and tell dying trees that it is time to allow the waters to speak life to those generational demons that have brought about perversion, Idolatry, mind control and witchcraft to God’s people!
I believe God is going to cause the whore of Babylon to fall in this season!
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; (the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost) so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile ( wicked) affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. (Romans 1:18-28 KJV)
The values and morals of Hollywood have come about because of the desire to be worshipped, looked up to, to be entertained and to take the place of the Creator!
They are yet building towers and bricks to supersede God through social media, music, acting and dancing, when it was God almighty who gave them the holly tree in the first place, not to be worshiped, but to enjoy the beautiful of His creation!
