What is this Mark Cyril talking about..? This guy must have gone insane to ever say God messes a man’s life! Just before you continue all of these line of thinking, just WAIT and hear me out…

Have you ever found your life so arranged, well structured and planned out, that it makes you so excited and motivated that you just see yourself soaring?

You have so organized your schedule and timing that you could predict where your life would be in the next 5 year’s, when all of a sudden you hear a voice telling you to give up those ambitions, for Him?

You have resisted the voice and it refuses to be resisted?

You have bound the voice and it refuses to be bound?

Or perhaps you, like Jonah, got an inconveniencing call to head towards a direction that seems contrary to your goals, dreams and purpose?

Or perhaps like Mary, God stepped in to shatter your so arranged life?

Mary’s life was so planned, so prepared that just about a few months to her wedding, God impregnated her and this singular act was not just leading to a ruination of her marriage, but jeopardizing even her life. For in those days, women were stoned when not found a Virgin.

How could she deny that it wasn’t a man responsible for her pregnancy but God’s? This accusation would be seen even as blasphemy.

You know what?

Let’s not always see everything from our myopic standpoint, but face the reality of such situations, were they to be now! How would you have taken this word, if Mary were your daughter or your Fiancée?

We have not talked about the traumatic situation this event caused the young man Joseph. No, I don’t think you can imagine the rancor between both families of the would be couple, when Joseph declared his dissension on his proposal. God just stepped in to MESS UP THEIR MAKE UP!

Perhaps you are mad at God for messing your make ups? Its okay to be. I have been there too!

Jesus came and messed up the hopes of Mary and Martha in the event of the illness of their only brother Lazarus’ sickness, when they sent to him a message that, ‘Lazarus, whom you love, is sick’ and He did not respond promptly. Oh my! I feel your pains. I understand this pretty well.

But just before you go on and on getting mad at Him, permit me to say this, when God messes your make ups, He will make up your mess ups!

He helped Mary rearranged her life again and paddled the canoe to a safe haven. He helped Lazarus make up his mess ups by restoring life and healing to him! He did this for them, He will do same for you!

He is the same yesterday, today and forever! God told me this morning that this October will leave many of you smiling and laughing!

Don’t worry when God MESSES UP YOUR MAKE UPS, because He wants to MAKE UP YOUR MESS UPS!!
