When you look at the facts many times it looks hopeless, the doctor’s report, the bank statement, the list from the lawyer, wherever your facts may come from it is always devastating.

No matter who you are, at some point you must come to grips with the facts! Then you hear the horrible callous words, “Face the fact man, your finished!” Or, “I’m sorry there is nothing more we can do, that’s just the facts!” Think about the no hope crowd, the unbelievers, how black their world looks at that moment. In the case of many believers the same blackness looms over them, because they do not realize they have other options.

The unbeliever is without hope even when everything is wonderful, he just does not know it until one of these fact sheets appears with his name on it!

Hope lasts as long as there is someone to turn too, but when you have crossed the last name off your list, that’s when blackness envelops you. It is common for the western believer to have the same list as the unbeliever, experiencing the same result because they have been too busy in earthly matters, to go beyond their initial salvation experience. Just like the world they run to and fro in a frantic search of another hope from man. Without Me there is no hope for any man because, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: and no man comes to the Father, but by Me.” John 14:6.

However for believers who have set aside the affairs of this life to wait on Me, 2 Timothy 2:4, learning how to fully trust and believe Me for everything, there is another option.

Triumphant faith that trumps facts

The fact sheet may say, your dying, or your going to be homeless, or you cannot exist, if you obey My voice and trust Me. But I say, never mind the facts, as your faith is so be it! All those who are called and chosen and in alignment with My will and purpose have this faith option. I don’t mean to insult you, but if some of “you had faith only the size of a grain of mustard seed, you could say unto this sycamine tree, be plucked up by the root, and be planted in the sea; and it would obey you,” Luke 17:6.

You believers who are at a major crossroad right now have a hope that is steadfast and sure, but you have never been at this crossroad before, so now the size of your faith is being tested. Don’t let the facts cheat you out of the glory of your hope. The hope of your calling is just on the other side of full trust! If you have heard My voice, why not allow your faith to rise to match it with unwavering obedience! Will you or will you not, step out of the boat. You can let the fact that the water will never support you and remain bound to the boat of sickness and bondage, or let your faith in My voice triumph over the fact! Matthew 14:28-29.

Totally in love with his Lord, at age 73 he served in ministry at Victory Christian Church and lived every hour listening for his Heavenly Father’s voice.  Jim passed away on May 23, 2017 to be with the LORD.
