When Did “Grace” Begin?
When did “Grace” begin?
Answer: Before the world began!
“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,” 2 Timothy 1:9.
Again there is another verse that speaks of jesus “Before the world began….
“But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot: who truly was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you….” 1 Peter 1:19-20.
Some people think Grace began with the Apostle Paul and the Revelation of the “Gospel of the Grace of God.”
They were mistaken about Grace, because God has always been a God of Grace, and before God ever created the world, Jesus was God’s object of Grace.
And,
Some people believe that God’s Grace will end.
Wrong again! His Grace is sufficient or all our needs.
Not only are men saved by Grace, they are kept by Grace.
God is the God of Grace.
Question: Do you think God will ever be anything other than a God of Grace and that somehow God will stop giving Grace?
Answer again:
“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His Glory, the Glory of the one and only Son, Who came from The Father, full of Grace and Truth,” John 1:14.
Conclusion: Since “God The Father” is full of Grace, He would have to cease [or change] to ever be less than Grace.
God cannot change:
“For I AM The LORD, I change not…..,” Malachi 3:6.
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever……” Hebrews 13:8.
