When Bad Occurs, Jesus is Good
Jesus is good to His people in the midst of trouble.
We know bad things are on the horizon, because Jesus told us in John 16:33 that we would experience tribulations.
We also know bad things are coming soon, for we are in the last days and Jesus’ return will happen soon…. most prophets will tell you this as well.
Although bad things will occur — such as earthquakes, hurricanes, and more — Jesus is still LORD and He is still good.
If you look at 2 Kings 20, the Israelite’s were about to face terrible circumstances from the Assyrians, but God said two blessings to them in the midst of their upcoming troubles.
God said He would,
1) Add years to their lives and,
2) Deliver their lives from the enemy.
2 Kings 20:6 states,
“And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake,” (KJV).
There are many debates on whether the rapture will occur or not. But we see time and time again in the Bible that God, although He allows His people to experience hardships, rescues His people.
We see that with Moses rescuing God’s people out of Egyptian slavery.
We see that with angles rescuing Peter out of prison.
We see that with God rescuing the Israelite’s out of Assyrian control.
And we will see Jesus rescue us once again when He raptures His people out of this world to be with Him for eternity.
The Holy Spirit adds:
“My People — I Love you very much and I want you to stay informed.
It is important to realize the condition you are in and where you are headed. I want you to see clearly and speak clearly. I want you to know what is going on.
Why would I keep things a secret from you about what I AM going to do and what the enemy is doing?
I want you to be informed and come to Me for information. Your computer and internet sites are not always useful — they are just a sign-post to Me!
The rapture is coming, My People. It will not happen tomorrow, but it is coming soon. Be alert and be prepared. Come to Me all who are weary and I will give you rest.
Allow Me to help you for I Love you greatly and I want to see you run your race well.
I Love you. Please come to Me for I enjoy your presence.”
