Whatever Happened to the Body of Christ Seeking After Peace?
As I was meditating upon the LORD for a Word for His People, the word ‘toxic‘ resided in my spirit!
When the LORD saves His People, He should have washed you with His precious blood!
According to Webster dictionary, the word toxic means poisonous, the dumping of waste, deadly, harmful, dangerous and poisonous.
When we were in darkness our spiritual man use to thrive off of confusion, chaos, drama, gossip and tale bearing but when the LORD called us into the light something spectacular should have taken place on the inside of you! A transformation!
The scriptures say, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new,” 2 Corinthians 5:17.
The LORD is speaking and He is saying that so many claim that they have the attributes of Christ, yet confusion, chaos and drama seems to be like a magnet that will not let go of them in their homes, ministries, communities and even in our government!
James said,
“Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? Either a vine, figs? So can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.”
Meaning, by now we ought to know that God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
For, God is a God of order and we know that by how he formed both the heavens and the earths. And how he spoke everything into existence!
Yet, many in the body of Christ have chosen to continue to walk in the flesh rather than the spirit of God, (1 Corinthians 14:33).
But, James said that if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is , there is confusion and every evil work.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace, (James 3:10-18 KJV)
Jesus was accused of many things from his enemies but he did not fight back and many times he would even say to them, “Thou saith!”
We as the people of God will also have to get to a place that we to will have to learn to humbly submit to the will of the Father.
Jesus never fought back when people accused him of things he did not do. He didn’t argue and many times he didn’t even try to explain himself to his accuser!
So why do we have to?
But, we must be willing to be like him and take on his attributes as his children to be wrong in someone’s eyes, knowing that God knows our hearts and that he himself will avenge us of our adversaries!
Christ has given us so much Godly wisdom to go by as he went through his own suffering and if we are ever to learn anything at all from him it is that God wants us to seek after peace!
He said that we are to follow peace with all me and without it no man (woman) shall see the LORD!
And, some time following peace means to remain silent in prayer as God fights on our behalf to avenge his people! But, how can he when we are so busy doing it for him?
Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed, (1 Peter 2: 23-24).
You see, God’s methods of warfare was not what we as the body of Christ expected. Instead of a battle, He sent us the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).
Jesus’ goal in coming to earth as the Messiah was more than simply to cease hostilities; He came to bring about a full and abiding relationship of restoration and love. And, by so doing it costed him his life (Isaiah 53:5).
There is a price or all those who have chosen to be a disciple of Christ in this season!
Jesus told Peter on the night of his prayer of Gethsemane, Peter put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?
Peter wanted to avenge himself but the LORD would not allow him to step outside of his will to fight in the flesh! (John 18:11)
God wants to give us inner peace that surpasses the world and He wants His People to know that allowing God to direct our steps out weigh walking in doubt, fear, insecurities and trying to vindicate ourselves when that is what he; himself will do for us!
God wants us to know that He is in control and that there is no reason for us to be alarmed regarding what man shall do unto us!
For, greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world! (1 John 4:4)

Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
