What Would You Call This Generation?
“But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented,” Matthew 11:16-17.
“What would you call this generation?” would say The LORD.
“Of what would this time be compared to? I tell you that no one before you will have experienced the things that you have now.
“For indeed, the sun has always come up and it has gone down. But now the door has been opened to those things that are prophesied to come.
“Indeed, that period of time referred to by many as the great tribulation is very soon to be unfolded.
“And yet many of you quibble over the most minute things; you split hairs over things that are insignificant but you ignore the greater things. You are divided over so many issues.
“How will you be ready when I come back for you?
“You are so caught-up in sensational things that you have replaced reading my word with YouTube videos, and you deem these things as truth.
“There are so many stories and half-truths that it is like walking through a forest without a pathway to guide you. Who are your teachers and from whom have you learned?
“Have I not said, ‘Let not many of you be teachers for they will be judged more harshly?’
“Am I not the Chief Shepherd?” sayeth The LORD.
“Am I not your teacher and King? And yet you have made masters over many of you. The enemy is a master weaver and he spins a tale to get you side-tracked from Me.
“For many of you have been distracted by him. Get back to basics and then you won’t be without your rudder in your ship in a storm.”
Selah,
~ Stephen Hanson
Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to The LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
