What the Lord is Saying Today – November 2012
November 30, 2012. I make you a promise that if you train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old, he will not depart from it. With this promise comes another promise. You will be glad of the day you started to obey this promise. Choose from Me the best fuel for his learning much as you choose the best fuel for your car. If you are obedient and cooperative with My promise, you will see in your lifetime awesome benefits. When the child is old and gray, he or she will shine as a bright light in the world. It is good to feed the hungry, but it is better to also include tutoring and training for a better life to escape the cycle of poverty.
Proverbs 22:6 (MSG) “Point your kids in the right direction- when they’re old they won’t be lost.” (KJV) “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Ras Robinson
November 30, 2012. Hope was up and then an attack came. It was from an unknown source. Pray for the source to be identified and then an attack can come from you to the source, not from the source to you. You can attack with a stronger force because your force is My blood and My overcoming ways. The unknown force is not equal and opposite. My force is unequaled. Keep your mind, hope and faith in Me. I am the Way the Truth and the Life. You come to the Father of Lights through Me. We are the winners not the losers. Satan has already been defeated. Precious one, think on these things.
John 14:6-7 (NIV) “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.'” Bev Robinson
November 30, 2012. I am in the process of conforming you into the image of Me. I am diligently positioning you into My Father’s refining fire on every occasion. There are two distinct progressions taking place in you. My metal is yours for the taking through your mettle. In regard to metal, I am burning off all of the dross in order to see the finest gold and silver I have ever seen. My desire is to see the reflection of Me in you. The other is mettle. You have strength of character and resolve to subject yourself to My Lordship. Your determination delights My heart. I am always pursuing you. Always pursue Me.
Zachariah 13:9 (NLT) “I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure. I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘These are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The LORD is our God.'” Kevin Robinson
November 29, 2012. You have been moaning and groaning. I see you trying your best to be positive and supportive. Your heart is sad and heavy over the rules and regulations you are expected to obey. This has not been easy? You are wise beyond your years. There is a tendency on your part to set the bar too high for those who rule over you. No one will ever be as perfect, loving, kind and forgiving as Jesus. See and concentrate on the good. When and where possible, overlook the bad. In prayer and obedience you can overcome this world and its leaders. Have faith. Let Jesus rule your heart.
Proverbs 29:2 (AMP) “When the [uncompromisingly] righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked man rules, the people groan and sigh.” Ras Robinson
November 29, 2012. Avoid any and all discussion with the one who wants to justify their behavior. In the long run this will not make any difference at all. The words and actions you need to say and do should be full of grace, love and acceptance. Do not express your feelings. Do not get into any conversation over the matter. When your love and acceptance is realized, this is going to disarm the matter altogether. When you can have alone time, you can tell Me. This gives you relief. This problem wants to continue if the pot is stirred. But don’t stir the pot. Forgive and the problem will just eventually fade away.
Colossians 4:6 (NASB) “Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.” Bev Robinson
November 29, 2012. Stand up and face your fears head on. Look back in the memory bank of your mind and recollect the times you overcame some previous form of fear. The realization that you’re able to gaze back is a step in the right direction. Fear has crippled you in the past, but not now. Move forward with the strength and power of My might not yours. You have tried to tackle your phobias on your own with little or no headway. Give it up. Lay those fears at the foot of My cross. Did I want to be crucified? No. But look at the glorious outcome of My obedience. Trust Me.
Luke 1:37 (NLT) “For nothing is impossible with God.” Kevin Robinson
November 28, 2012. When times get difficult, often the only remaining help is from the Lord himself. Many have befriended you. But in all honesty, you wonder about your friends in times of trouble. Where are my friends? King David often felt this way. Once he found himself in a cave “all alone” with no one to help. Yet David was a friend of God. He was a great warrior gaining many victories. His battles often were within his heart and soul. He was often discouraged and depressed. But look at the final outcome. He is revered even today throughout the nations and peoples of the earth. How? God was his help and came to his side. He won the battle of the heart and soul.
Psalm 142:4-6 (NLT) “I look for someone to come and help me, but no one gives me a passing thought! No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me. Then I pray to you, O LORD. I say, “You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life. Hear my cry, for I am very low. Rescue me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.” Ras Robinson
November 28, 2012. Fear almost overwhelmed you. You came close to falling apart. I know you were on the brink but you didn’t collapse; you stood. There were others standing with you, whom you didn’t know were there. That’s the way it is with the body of Christ when it’s healthy and working properly. When you feel weak, others are strong and praying. I was there all the time at work but you were in such pain you didn’t know it. This is hard to see when you are in the middle of the crisis, and that’s okay. But now take time. Look back and mull this over and see the miracle that occurred.
Romans 8:38-39 (NLT) “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Bev Robinson
November 28, 2012. Over half of the battle is recognizing your warfare is not against those individuals around you. Have a ready state of awareness about yourself at all times. Time and time again you slip back into warring among those you love the most and you then feel miserable afterwards. Your challenger never concedes. Though he is defeated, he never tires of bringing chaos and discord into your circumstances. Ask Me for wisdom in how to recognize Satan’s ploys. Let Me give you understanding on how to fight in the heavenlies. Keep an humble attitude and hide yourself underneath My pinions. Surround yourself with righteous warriors who know who they are in Me.
1 Samuel 17:46-48 (NLT) “Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel! And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!” As Goliath moved closer to attack, David quickly ran out to meet him.” Kevin Robinson
November 27, 2012. You are making a huge decision. It will affect all your family to some extent. You know your decision is right but it must be processed in God’s way. Wait on Him for the wisdom and understanding that only He can give. And He gives it freely to all who ask of Him. You have the facts, the knowledge and determination to handle this one rightly. The Lord says, “I have heard your prayers and cries for help. I see your broken heart. Be bold. Muster confidence, boldness and gentleness. Don’t stop now. The prize is right before you. Follow your heart for it is good. Waiting is over. I will never leave you.”
Proverbs 2:2-6 (MSG) “Tune your ears to the world of Wisdom; set your heart on a life of Understanding. That’s right-if you make Insight your priority, and won’t take no for an answer, searching for it like a prospector panning for gold, like an adventurer on a treasure hunt, believe me, before you know it Fear-of-GOD will be yours; you’ll have come upon the Knowledge of God. And here’s why: GOD gives out Wisdom free, is plainspoken in Knowledge and Understanding.” Ras Robinson
November 27, 2012. I know you want more. There is nothing wrong with wanting more. You also want the others to have more. I am a God of increase and time and time again I give more. I see that you have been faithful to use what you have in the ways I have prescribed. You are generous and that brings Me so much pleasure. As it has done in the past and will continue in the future, along with the more comes increased responsibility. I am telling you this not to frighten you but so that you will be prepared. I know you will handle the increased responsibility well. Precious, I believe in you.
Matthew 25:21 (NLT) “The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’ Bev Robinson
November 27, 2012. Listen to Me. I know there are a tremendous amount of noises from numerous issues outside and interruptions from matters far beyond your control. Regardless of the situations you’re in, listen to Me. Live wholly in fear and awe of Me. I will never hurt you . I will never leave you. I have nothing but the very best for you. In the past, you have done as you pleased and you received undesired consequences. Today is a new day. Begin a fresh new day listening to My voice and obeying what I say. Start having pinpoint obedience to what you hear Me saying and marvel at how I move.
Hebrews 12:25 (NLT) “Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven!”
Philippians 4:9 (NLT) “Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me-everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.” Kevin Robinson
November 26, 2012. Can you rejoice? In good times and bad? You know rejoicing is one of the most heart healthy things you can do for your heart and even your whole body. But do you find it difficult? Honest folks will admit both the benefits and difficulty. There are those who seem to force joy and laughter as if it were an all-powerful elixir to fix everything. Do not do that. The Lord says, “My joy in you is all you need for rejoicing greatly in the Lord. This joy is not dependent upon circumstances good or not so good. Those who rejoice in and with My joy are like an everlasting fountain of contagious love and life. Enter in. You will love it.”
Philippians 4:4 (KJV) “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” Ras Robinson
November 26, 2012. Peace in life is much about the way you look at it. Success can be better accomplished by keeping blessings in focus. Even though some things have not worked, don’t concentrate on these. You had hoped and prayed it would be better, but others made poor choices. Keep believing and praying, but then leave the situations with Me. Don’t rehearse the negatives. Precious, remember what I said, “Stay above the fray.” Get your mind this season on how I came to earth to give you and others salvation. Remember all the ways I have brought victory and joy. Remember you are never alone. Keep your mind focused on these things.
Philippians 4:8-9 (NLT) “And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me-everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.” Bev Robinson
November 26, 2012. Don’t jump to conclusions before you know the whole story. You have been in similar situations like the one you’re in right now. The results of what you thought would happen then were not even close to what you were thinking. And the current situations won’t yield results close to what you now fear. Worrying is driving you nuts. Grumbling about the issues at hand is making you more and more frustrated. Always leave the problems you’re struggling against with Me. I AM the ultimate problem solver. Since no one knows the future but Me. Roll over all of your cares onto Me. Nothing’s too complicated for Me to resolve.
Psalm 55:22 (NLT) “Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.” Kevin Robinson
November 25, 2012. It is a time for My glory to shine before the world and all that is in it. This will be a time when the gates of Heaven are opened. Doors that have been shut will suddenly be opened. The King of glory is about to appear. The masses that have not heard nor seen Him will open their hearts. He is strong and mighty. He will show Himself in all His glory, but he will also reveal His mighty arm to those who oppose His kingdom in the earth. His strength will be invincible. No one can stop nor defeat Him. His mission will seem impossible but nevertheless His victory will sweep people through the open gates and doors. The end is not so far away now. Welcome His glory.
Psalm 24:7-8 (NLT) “Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty; the LORD, invincible in battle.” Ras Robinson
November 25, 2012. Everything was running so smoothly. All was good. Then out of the blue hell came crashing in. You thought, “What in the world? How could this have happened?” It had been bubbling and brewing under the surface, out of sight and now was bubbling to the top in full blown expression. What do you do? Listen now to Me. Stay above the fray! Come up with Me into heavenly places! See the battle from My point of view! Observe who the culprit is! It is not the one on whom the blame has been placed. Let Me fight battles of power. You speak and exhibit peace. Extend love to everyone involved.
Psalms 24:8-9 (NLT) “Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty; the Lord, invincible in battle. Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter.” Bev Robinson
November 25, 2012. It’s easy to see the stubbornness in someone else isn’t it? You realize when a person is having reticent thoughts or behavior. No one enjoys being forced to do something they don’t want to do . You can readily see how hard it is to move a mule or a donkey. But you cannot see how hesitant you are when it comes to taking action. When you notice someone who is very enthusiastic and passionate, it’s very refreshing isn’t it? Make a choice to never use the phrase “I can’t” in your speech. Your adequacy is found in and through Me. I will do whatever, whenever on your behalf.
1 Samuel 14:6-7 (NLT) “Let’s go across to the outpost of those pagans,” Jonathan said to his armor bearer. “Perhaps the Lord will help us, for nothing can hinder the Lord . He can win a battle whether he has many warriors or only a few! Do what you think is best,” the armor bearer replied. “I’m with you completely, whatever you decide.” Kevin Robinson
November 24, 2012. Listen to your father in obedience to the word of the Lord. Loving your mother in her old age is also honoring to the Lord. Children are to be taught to honor not only their father and mother but also others who are older than themselves. Respect can almost be removed from our dictionaries, due to lack of use and practice. Look at your own life. Do you respect those older than yourself, starting with your parents? My wife and I just hosted a Thanksgiving event for both our immediate family and some of our extended family. As appetites were satisfied by the bountiful table, there was definitely respect and honor for us and other parents. My parents taught me this and demonstrated it before me. May it continue to be passed down from generation to generation. Honor the fathers and mothers among you.
Proverbs 23:22 (NLT) “Listen to your father, who gave you life, and don’t despise your mother when she is old.” Ras Robinson
November 24, 2012. Do not give up precious one. Stay the course. You are on the right path. You are doing right by not caving in. I know it is hard but you can do this. You are trusting in Me and the way I do things and you aren’t giving in to the flesh. I see that and it brings Me pleasure. I see your heart, and I like what I see. Victory will come at two seconds until too late, but it is just around the corner. You are growing in grace and also in hearing Me. You are binding the works of the devil, the works I came to destroy.
Matthew 16:19 (NIV) “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Bev Robinson
November 24, 2012. You have become so self-protective because of pain. Growing up, you found it easy to accept others fully and completely. Somewhere along the way lofty and unrealistic expectations you had toward someone were crushed. You were disappointed for the reason that someone’s words or actions fell short of your selfish standards. The pain seemed unbearable, hurting you deeply. You’ve allowed bitterness to overtake you. It has crippled your life little by little. After years of emotional pain and suffering, you have constructed walls around yourself. You have become emotionless. Those earlier times of glee and bliss have all but disappeared from your life. Let Me minister My perfect peace to you.
2 Timothy 2:23-24 (NIV) “Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.” Kevin Robinson
November 23, 2012. Stand tall and walk straight in this new season. I have rewards for you along the path you will discover. Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find. The new path for the new season is worth your finding like the pearl of great price. Set your eyes upon it. Lock in on that new direction and commit your heart to remain on that path. Many people and many distractions will try to divert you. Refuse them. If necessary, sell and cast away all distractions. Focus your eyes on what I am saying and doing. This will keep you in the center of My will, unlocking My blessings saved up for you.
Proverbs 4:25-26 (NLT “Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path.” Ras Robinson
November 23, 2012. Thanksgiving eve I was sound asleep and suddenly woke up at 3:00 AM after a bad dream. As I lay there thinking about the dream the turkey cooking outside in the smoker suddenly interrupted my thinking. I jumped up quickly to check on it. The turkey was not cooking at all. The water pan had leaked and the charcoal fire was extinguished. Ras and I went into action repairing and refilling the water pan and restarted the fire. The Lord says, “What appears to be bad is really a blessing I have something specific to say to you. You may not understand immediately, but will see great goodness come from this.”
Romans 8:28 (NLT) “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Bev Robinson
November 23, 2012. Embrace the fact that you are righteous and run with it completely. You’ve inherited My full and complete righteousness. Choose to make your dwelling enveloped in righteousness. Believe with certainty who I say you are. Walk in righteousness. Speak blamelessly. Walk with a holy swagger of confidence knowing who I’ve made you to be. You are righteous as I am righteous. Stop lolly-gagging around walking in your genetic DNA. Your bloodline has been changed. You’re no longer a child walking around aimlessly. You have received the full brilliance of My illuminating light. You’ve been called to live life uprightly. Walk in My righteousness which is legitimately yours. I see you. See Me.
Psalm 85:10-11 (NLT) “Unfailing love and truth have met together. Righteousness and peace have kissed! Truth springs up from the earth, and righteousness smiles down from heaven.” Kevin Robinson
November 22, 2012. Guard your heart. Your heart is good, says the Lord. He has cleansed it and made it whole. In Him, all wrongs have been made right, all sins forgiven. In this season of thanksgiving celebrated in America, let us receive good things from the Lord’s gift in our heart where all important things are stored and stirred. Let all things not from God be kept outside your heart. These are the words the Lord spoke to me in prayer for you this early morning: “Slow down your world and shut out distractions that interfere with My presence dwelling lively in your heart. See others in your life and be thankful. My children are My responsibility. Only I can change them. Your assignment is to gratefully pray for them and be glad with My demonstrated joy that I abundantly give to you. Be thankful today.”
Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” Ras Robinson
November 22, 2012. Trust Me with it all. I know there are some things you fear but again trust Me with it all. Be like a precious child who doesn’t worry about those things. Don’t even now think about those things. Give them all to Me. Enjoy where you are today. Don’t linger on the things of the past except to acknowledge the ways I handled the situations and took care of you. Yes enjoy yesterday, today and the things I have set before you to accomplish. Be happy. Don’t forget to stay in a state of prayer. Today pray and sing in the Spirit. Pray and sing with the mind, My precious one.
1 Corinthians 14:15 (NIV) “So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind.” Bev Robinson
November 22, 2012. Today people all across The United States have prepared food for family and friends and the homeless for Thanksgiving Day. This day has been set aside by our government as a special day for giving thanks and remembrance. Sounds of joy resonate throughout our land today because of a simple time of thankfulness. The Lord says, “Consider a different table on this day. As you have recollection in your mind about blessings you have received and thoughts of gratitude, consider a different table. I have made much more than a sufficient amount of provision for you. Recollect on all I’ve given to you. Keep Me and My table ever before you. Wherever you are today, give thanks and remember Me.”
Psalm 95:2 (NLT) “Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him.” Kevin Robinson
November 21, 2012. The Lord wishes to turn over a new leaf for you. As in the fall of the year, leaves beautifully change color to make room for the coming new season. Are you ready for a season change to a better life? This is My offer to you today. First, keep your prayers coming for I am hearing you. A fresh baptism of grace and favor has arrived for you. Many of your blessings have arrived, but oh what fresh loads are on the way. Here is your part in this. Learn from the life of Job. Pray for your friends and critics. When you do this, be sure to declare and decree things for they will be established for you. As this happens light will shine on your way. Welcome the new leaf already budded and ready to go.
Job 22:27-28 (NKJV) “You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, And you will pay your vows You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.” Ras Robinson
November 21, 2012. Someone needs your help. You realize it, but this is a busy time and you don’t think you have the time to help. The fact is you’ve been thinking you’re the one who needs help. I know that and help will come. But now is the time to help another. You don’t have to stop completely what you are doing and help . But nevertheless help anyway you can . There will be time to get done what you must do. Time is not what you think it is. I can do many things with time… with your time. You don’t worry about the time. Just think about what I said and help.
Luke 6:38 (NKJV) “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Bev Robinson
November 21, 2012. You have the enthusiasm of a toad. In fact, there is little if no expression on display for others to see. In regard to aforementioned amphibian, the toad sits back and waits until some insect crosses its path before he strikes or even moves. Patience is one thing, but having a sluggish life is another. You’ve become cold blooded with your responses. You cast miserable, disapproving and demeaning glances toward people because of their actions or words. The Lord says, “Stop being passive and sluggish. Accept wholeheartedly who I say you are. You’re fearfully and wonderfully made. You’re forgiven. You’re free. Take an active role. Receive the warmth of My Spirit filled charisma.
Psalm 95:1-2 (DARBY) “Come, let us sing aloud to Jehovah, let us shout for joy to the rock of our salvation; let us come before his face with thanksgiving; let us shout aloud unto him with psalms.” Kevin Robinson
November 20, 2012. On a dark and cloudy day. At dawn this morning, I stepped outside my house. Looking up, I saw a complete dark and cloudy covering. The enemy is lying to God’s people that there is no real hope. Some churches have had far more empty seats than ever. A few churches have closed. Family life has diminished. Question. Whose report will you believe? Perspective. The Lord says, “I have given you seasons of sunny and cool days. But on this particular day when the dark and cloudy day emerges and you forget my mercy and grace recently blanketing you. Where is your faith? Where is your perseverance? I tell you the bright sun is above those dark clouds. This is always the case. Believe My report, not the report of the enemy of your soul. Rejoice in the remembrances of the good. Speak the good by faith.”
Ezekiel 34:12 (NLT). “I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock. I will find my sheep and rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on that dark and cloudy day.” Ras Robinson
November 20, 2012. Challenging days are ahead. You will go through a variety of emotions, nostalgia, disappointment, even spurts of joy and spurts of anger. Keep the anger just as spurts in your mind. Don’t overreact or explode. If you don’t keep your emotions and actions in check you will be sorry later with much regret. Prepare yourself now in prayer. Give this time totally to Me. Then when it actually comes expect the best but prepare for the worse. Linger in your mind with Me. I will help you through this. This will bring us much intimacy, and you will realize intimacy with Me will get you through other challenging or difficult times.
Deuteronomy 31:6 (ESV) “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Bev Robinson
November 20, 2012. Supporting the body of Christ, which are the Christians around you should be as simple as taking care of your own body. You wouldn’t neglect your own body if you were sick. You would clean yourself up if you became filthy and dirty. If you were hungry or thirsty you would do whatever it took to meet those needs. Take a closer look around you and see who is in need. Find the time to write a note, make a phone call, or better yet a personal visit to someone in need. You’ve no idea the impact you can make. Deliver a kindhearted dose of tender loving care to My body.
1 Corinthians 12:12-13 (NLT) “The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit.” Kevin Robinson
November 19, 2012. Your enemy Satan will fill you with fear if you listen to him. Wars are rumored loud and clear at this present time. Wars have gone on day after day some place in the world. These wars are the result of fallen mankind. Sometimes the Lord has allowed wars, even while keeping His ultimate purposes in mind. When you remember recent wars, what exactly did they accomplish? Leaders of nations have long known that war can be good for business and their economy. Most times, industries that supply material for wars get richer. A good thing about wars is that they usually stir up more prayers to God. God causes all things to work together for good. Israel is presently under attack from Gaza and Egypt. Let us pray.
Jeremiah 51:46 (MSG). “Don’t lose hope. Don’t ever give up when the rumors pour in hot and heavy. One year it’s this, the next year it’s that- rumors of violence, rumors of war.
Matthew 24:6 (MSG). “When reports come in of wars and rumored wars, keep your head and don’t panic. This is routine history; this is no sign of the end.” Ras Robinson
November 19, 2012. I know it is hard to rise above. But you can do this. You know who to lean on. You know who to talk to. You know who can right the wrong. Yes, you know because you have seen it time and time and time again. You are doing the right thing by not entering in. You are walking the high road. You know this is the thing to do because you have done it many times before. It has been a long time since you have been, at this exact place. You are familiar with the emotions that rise up within you. You also know who can handle this.
Psalms 18:31-33 (NLT). “For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights.” Bev Robinson
November 19, 2012. Do whatever is necessary to keep the peace. You’ve found it easy to blow through the yield signs I’ve placed before you. Walking in the flesh is pretty easy. Imagine how serene your life would be if you weren’t so apt at giving harsh replies. Think before you make some type of impulsive expression either verbal or non-verbal. Lately your actions have spoken louder than your words. Nevertheless, don’t discount the unkindness of your words. I’m all about restoring peace. My peace which passes all understanding is what you should be pursuing. Consider yourself in the other person’s shoes before you reply next time. At all cost, keep My peace.
Philippians 4:7 (NASB) “And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Kevin Robinson
November 18, 2012. The good and joyful light in your eyes rejoices the heart of others, even nourishing their bones. My wife and I saw the 007 movie Skyfall yesterday. In departing the theatre, two new friends in our church were waiting to enter. He is British and she is Canadian (We told them they would enjoy the British humor in the film). As we spotted them at the entry, we were immediately drawn to the smiles and joyful light in their eyes as we greeted each other. With their eyes they told us good things about life and the living of it . What a delight they were! The person with this joyful light in their eyes upon greeting others will not lack for friendship. So, we immediately scheduled an appointment to have soup together. Let His light shine in your eyes and enjoy many delightful friends.
Proverbs 15:30 (AMP) “The light in the eyes [of him whose heart is joyful] rejoices the hearts of others, and good news nourishes the bones.” Ras Robinson
November 18, 2012. Just let it flow out of you. You had it earlier but you let the opportunity pass. It is still there within you. You have become afraid to start because of thinking it may not be right. Give your fears to Me. Trust Me; you can do this. If you wait until you think you have it perfect you won’t start. Thinking you have to get it perfect has caused you to procrastinate. Don’t let your thinking remain like that. This is what has stymied you. Start and it will come. I am the one who put it in you. Relax in your mind and emotions and just let it flow.
Psalms 37:5 (NLT) “Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.” Bev Robinson
November 18, 2012. In the nation of Israel, having a state of battle readiness is of highest priority. What I am showing you is seen first in the natural and then in the spiritual. B e prepared for battle. You are on active duty. Whether you are male, female, young, old, physically fit or not, you’re to be ready in season and out for battle. Keep yourself current according to My values and teachings. You never know what schemes the enemy has in store for you. Therefore, stay alert . Be ever watchful, ever mindful for some strange, sneak attack of the enemy with some unidentifiable type of warfare. Don’t be fearful or scared. I will never leave you.
1 Peter 5:8-9 (MSG) “Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You’re not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It’s the same with Christians all over the world.” Kevin Robinson
November 17, 2012. You want to be heard but sadly it seems you are not. You have so much on your heart that needs to come out. Discipline yourself to keep your lips sealed until I give you words to say. Do not speak on your own. Allow My word and the Holy Spirit to keep a guard about your mouth. Be sensitive as to when you are to speak and who is going to be your audience. Let your words always be encouraging, comforting and stimulating. If you will add discipline to your words in this manner, you will be heard. People will come to hear you. Others will seek your wisdom and understanding. You will be faithful to give Me praise while taking no credit for yourself.
Psalm 17:1 (NASB) “Hear a just cause, O LORD, give heed to my cry; Give ear to my prayer, which is not from deceitful lips.” Ras Robinson
November 17, 2012. I have established a work for you to accomplish. At times your thoughts and emotions slip into feeling you are a failure. I know your heart, precious one. I also felt that from time to time because I walked where you walk and had every temptation you’ve had. I first started small at a wedding party listening to My mother. Then most of my followers came and went. But I was faithful to the end. And the best was yet to come. Our Father does not equate success the same way the world does. He assesses us by our faithfulness. Stay faithful, precious one. Your best is also yet to come.
John 5:19-20 (NASB) “Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.” Bev Robinson
November 17, 2012. Amazingly, it seems on your own turf you would be received. It sounds pretty simple but it’s not. Because you hear, see, smell, taste, and feel the presence of God, you are kept at arms distance. Some point their fingers at you and mock your very existence. Their perception is you have lost your mind. Others see you as blasphemous. They ask, “how could anyone be so ignorant to declare audacious things?” God the Father says, “You’re in good company! Elijah, Elisha and My Son were not received in their own land. People have been rejecting Me from creation until now. I’ve given you boldness! You’re in good company! Proclaim Me!
Luke 4:24 (NIV) “Truly I tell you,” he continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown.” Kevin Robinson
November 16, 2012. Here comes the devil again! Two antelopes have discovered night goggles. Wearing them, they can see the lion lurking in the weeds waiting to devour them. The lion is discovered and uncovered. They look at him and call him by name (Karl) and verbally intimidate and scare the lion. He runs away (or so the story goes in a recent TV ad). First is the natural and then comes the spiritual. When you sense the devil wants to eat you alive, put on your night vision (spiritual) goggles and shout out to the devil that he is discovered. Rebuke him with confidence and boldness. Command him to leave. It works. Try it.
James 4:5-8 (NASB) “Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: “He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us”? But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.” Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Ras Robinson
November 16, 2012. Separating yourself is not the thing to do. I know you want to do the right thing, but separation is not it. You are being deceived, wanting to leave and go somewhere else. You have heard the saying, “The grass is greener on the other side.” But the grass on the other side is the same shade of green as it is where you are. You will find, when you get to the other side and stay for a while, the grass seems to be greener somewhere else. Be at peace where you are. Help others who are discouraged by encouraging them and building them up . You can help. Do it.
2 Corinthians 1:4 (MSG) “He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us.” Bev Robinson
November 16, 2012. You feel you’re in a place similar to Caesarea Philippi, a place of unfriendliness. The onslaught against your godly character is under intense examination. It was in Philippi amid strong opposition where I asked My disciples, “Who do you people say that I am?” It was also there in Philippi where Peter received My Father’s revelation, stating “I am the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Be strong in the midst of suffering and believe the best. Paul and Timothy experienced similar problems in Philippi. They also continued speaking My truth. I and My mightiest have endured tests and you will too. Be strong in places like Philippi.
PhiIippians 4:13 (AMP) “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].” Kevin Robinson
November 15, 2012. Little foxes have come to destroy the bloom and harvest of your beautiful vineyard. This is happening at a time when prophecy says you should be exploding in full fruit. Your beautiful vineyard is slowly dying. People are retreating away. They sense your vineyard may never bloom and will not bring about the promised harvest. Make a list of all the destructive foxes. Bring the list to Me and we will commune in prayer together and then burn the list and thus the foxes. Without this, your vineyard will wane away and become sour and bitter. There are no short cuts. Face it and do not fear it. I am at work. Your vineyard can be saved, begin to bloom and bring a mighty and plenteous harvest. I need pinpoint obedience from you on this.
Song of Songs 2:15 (AMP) “[My heart was touched and I fervently sang to him my desire] Take for us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vineyards [of our love], for our vineyards are in blossom.” Ras Robinson
November 15, 2012. There is an upcoming event. It won’t necessarily appear very important but it is You have had a growing suspicion about this. This is discernment. Others also will discern its importance. No one knows exactly why, but deep down they just know. I have been orchestrating activities for a long time. I don’t force Myself on anyone. The choice will be yours. There are some pitfalls planned. Guess who is behind that? Yes Satan . He is always subtly at work. But this time there is a convergence of godliness that will override any work he has planned. Division will not be the outcome here. Instead there will be multiplied powerful blessings.
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (NLT) “That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets” Bev Robinson
November 15, 2012. At all times try to remain calm, cool, and collected. In the past you have overreacted at the slightest misstep or misspeak others have made. This is a new day. Make every effort to keep the peace, whatever the cost might be on your part. The question to ask is who is going to be the adult in upcoming difficult situations which inevitably come forth? You are! You will rise above the fray! Be a positive influence with everyone you encounter. Lay your past behind you and move forward with My kingdom mindset already working within you. Reconciliation looks good with My kingdom attire on you.
2 Corinthians 5:18-19 (CEB) “All of these new things are from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and who gave us the ministry of reconciliation. In other words, God was reconciling the world to himself through Christ, by not counting people’s sins against them. He has trusted us with this message of reconciliation.” Kevin Robinson
November 14, 2012. Are you ready? How is your life representing that you are wisely righteous and not stupid and worldly? I desire and seek faithful ones who will not turn from Me during difficult times. Can I count on you? You have a reputation for being faithful. You are loyal and true to those you love. My love is evident in you as you express the Christ life. I have found you. You are my chosen one . The qualities in your life will become infectious in others. Be confident and very bold . We back you up in your determination to quicken the Holy Spirit in others. The Lord smiles at the sound of your name . You are ready….
Psalm 14:2 (MSG) “GOD sticks his head out of heaven. He looks around. He’s looking for someone not stupid- one man, even, God-expectant, just one God-ready woman.” Ras Robinson
November 14, 2012. Something you’ve heard is disturbing. This is not your affair to deal with directly. Yes it does affect you but this is not your issue to handle. Your role here is to listen, support and pray for all involved. I know exactly what needs to be done and when to do it. Your prayer is needed but you aren’t to get under it emotionally. You need to keep your emotions cool so you can hear Me about how to pray. Haven’t you been here before in similar situations? First, roll all of this over on Me. Remember past victories. Believe for the best. Have faith. This too will end victoriously.
Ephesians 6:18 (NASB) “With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,” Bev Robinson
November 14, 2012. Be about having My friendly presence with you at all times. I came and still come to you in a warm, approachable, and sociable fashion. Present yourself to others as one who has a firm grip on who you are because of Me. When others greet you, represent Me as the one true Lord. I AM the One, who delights in you. I AM the one who changes the atmosphere with just one word. Embrace the fact that My word is within your soul. When you move and speak, let My word inside you transform the air in a positive way. Every moment will be enjoyable and pleasant as I AM enjoyable and pleasant.
John 15:11-14 (MSG) “I’ve told you these things for a purpose: that my joy might be your joy, and your joy wholly mature. This is my command: Love one another the way I loved you. This is the very best way to love. Put your life on the line for your friends. You are my friends when you do the things I command you. Kevin Robinson
November 13, 2012. You like to hear a good story. Stories are powerful tools in communication. Actually, stories are multifaceted in the way they can carry messages. You are aware of people who seem to be incapable of understanding spiritual things and yet have brilliant minds for other things. Don’t let this bother you. They Lord says today, “All of mankind is precious to Me. I created them all. They made choices that placed them in their present situations. I am the God who refuses to treat those of My creation as if they were robots. Neither do I attempt to make everyone alike . In the Trinity, we are each different but we are one. Your personal narrative can be and should be alive and always being updated.”
Matthew 13:9-11 (NLT) “Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.” His disciples came and asked him, “Why do you use parables when you talk to the people?” He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not.” Ras Robinson
November 13, 2012. Someone is coming soon to you for help . You will be surprised. Have no fear. I have placed you as the one to help and it will be like you are in a bubble of my blessing and protection. It will be like the time they brought the woman caught in adultery to Jesus speaking to a crowd at the temple. He was not embarrassed by or for her and he was not swayed by the Pharisees. He spoke in wisdom and profound truth and others around were helped. It is important that you not turn away from helping the one coming. Your help will affect many more than you know. Blessings will be multiplied.
John 8:7-9 (NLT) “They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust. When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman.” Bev Robinson
November 13, 2012. Children don’t have a concern about being a child. Without notice, they don’t consider not having joy anytime or any place. The majority of kids don’t have to worry if they will have a shelter over them, a meal to eat, or clothes to wear. And watch out if they’re deprived of having fun, or getting to play. The Lord says, “Pay close attention to the core values of the way children flourish and blossom. They never worry about not having joy and peace. They’re good receivers of My abundant provision. They receive blessings without question. Their faith is an example of how I want you to live.”
Luke 10:21 (NLT) “At that same time Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit, and he said, “O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike . Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way”
Romans 14:17 (NLT) “For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Kevin Robinson
November 12, 2012. “Well, you know how those people are. They are partakers in ________.” Hearing this recently in a meeting, my heart was saddened. Upon hearing it, I immediately thought of how many of the man-made laws and rules of Jesus’ day that Jesus himself broke. Could it be that today’s church might even reject Jesus if He were attending our churches? Read the passage below and ask yourself how many modern day prohibitions would survive the nitpicking test. Pray about it.
Matthew 12:1-8 (MSG) “One Sabbath, Jesus was strolling with his disciples through a field of ripe grain. Hungry, the disciples were pulling off the heads of grain and munching on them. Some Pharisees reported them to Jesus: “Your disciples are breaking the Sabbath rules!” Jesus said, “Really? Didn’t you ever read what David and his companions did when they were hungry, how they entered the sanctuary and ate fresh bread off the altar, bread that no one but priests were allowed to eat? And didn’t you ever read in God’s Law that priests carrying out their Temple duties break Sabbath rules all the time and it’s not held against them? “There is far more at stake here than religion. If you Had any idea what this Scripture meant-‘I prefer a flexible heart to an inflexible ritual’-you wouldn’t be nitpicking like this. The Son of Man is no lackey to the Sabbath; he’s in charge.” Ras Robinson
November 12, 2012. Stay connected. There will come a temptation to pull away. At that time it will seem like the best thing to do. You won’t be sure what you should do and will start weighing the decision. I am letting you know ahead of time … don’t do it. Stay connected. There is coming a time you will need and want to be with those who don’t seem to be highly interested in what is going on in your life. They are interested but have many other things going on. You will forget about what I’ve said, but when the time comes the Holy Spirit will remind you and obedience and peace will come.
1 Corinthians 12:25-26 (MSG). “The way God designed our bodies is a model for understanding our lives together as a church: every part dependent on every other part, the parts we mention and the parts we don’t, the parts we see and the parts we don’t. If one part hurts, every other part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing. If one part flourishes, every other part enters into the exuberance.” Bev Robinson
November 12, 2012. Your attitudes and behavior are not very pleasing to Me or to those who know you best. You need to stop straddling the fence of dual residency. My world is black and white, right or wrong. Your beliefs are correct or they’re not. You’re dabbling entirely too much with gray matters thus making you indecisive. In fact, your lackadaisical attitude has hurt you immensely. Your double mindedness has become harmful not only to yourself but others as well. Stop relying on yourself to get out of the mess you’re in. Know that you are mine. Allow Me to change your mindset. Let Me do a complete makeover. The choice is yours.
Philippians 3:17-21 (NKJV). “Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame-who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. Kevin Robinson
SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS — 11/12/12:
I speak to those who have been in an unsettling time. You have a sense of being disoriented, but all you have to do is settle yourself on the firm foundation of My word and find stability in My presence. I am still with you and will lead you to a place of security and safety. Do not be afraid or allow despair to undermine your faith. Be strong, says the Lord.
Psalms 61:2 “From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
November 11, 2012. Little eyes are watching and listening to everything you do. Children know when you lie or misrepresent the truth. Even though it is sad to say, they also know when you take things that are not yours. It is amazing how smart and observant children are. Their first models and examples are their parents and other family members. They know well the music you choose and what plays on your car radio as well as what is included in your private music collections. When you yell and scream in anger at your spouse, the kids make a permanent memory and will mimic that behavior. Be faithful in your words and family behavior. They may seem insignificant at the time, but the impact is huge. Know you are loved!
Luke 16:10 (NLT) “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.” Ras Robinson
November 11, 2012. What is going on is not about you and also not about the others. It is about Satan and Me, and My plans to prosper many. Satan will do anything destructive which he is allowed to do. He is a defeated foe but he wants your mind on ways you have walked and fallen flat. He is winning right now because you are remembering the negatives. Don’t let him do this. Rise above this fray and see things from My perspective. Listen to Me and do what I say. I listened and obeyed My Father. He was with Me and I am with you. My plan is for many to prosper.
1 Samuel 18:14 (ESV) “And David had success in all his undertakings, for the Lord was with him.” Bev Robinson
November 11, 2012. You need to look at grace upon grace from a different perspective. Grace is multifaceted in its many forms. You extend grace in a costly fashion. You have offered grace to others where the church meets, and in places where you can be seen publicly. However in private, those who are closest to you see a completely different person. Make every effort to be about presenting My grace to all. Let everyone see Me in a pleasing way. My grace has proper manner and form. Extend good will toward all people in the same way I have freely given grace to you. You’ve received My grace. Exhibit My grace to everyone.
Hebrews 12:14-15 (ERV) “Try to live in peace with everyone. And try to keep your lives free from sin. Anyone whose life is not holy will never see the Lord. Be careful that no one fails to get God’s grace. Be careful that no one loses their faith and becomes like a bitter weed growing among you. Someone like that can ruin your whole group.” Kevin Robinson
November 10, 2012. Jesus was an early riser. King David had the same priorities. Both Jesus and David knew their need for solitude before God. They knew they needed more than everyday life on earth could provide. Prayer to their God was a priority and a demonstration of their humility. Leaders, especially so it seems, can be tempted to feel independent of input from higher authority. There should never be a time that we feel superior to God or even to other people. Early morning or late night seems to be best for those solitary times in a place of one’s own choosing. The Lord says, “I long for personal fellowship with you. You make a huge difference in My plan for My Kingdom.”
Mark 1:35 (NKJV) “Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” Ras Robinson
November 10, 2012. Make a special effort to be at peace with what is before you which must be done. I know you have anxiety about this because it is so important that this be done correctly and in order. If you are operating in peace things will go so much better. Listen to Me. The first thing is to lay this whole project over on Me. Take your mind off trying to figure out what to do first. Rest in Me. Ask Me. Then follow. Don’t start and then ask because if you start without asking, this project can turn into a complicated mixture of things which will look good but unravel quickly.
Psalms 37:4-5 (NASB) “Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.” Bev Robinson
November 10, 2012. You are surrounded with chaotic days in the world around you. However, you are not of this world. Just as the ant makes preparations in the summer for the upcoming winter quickly approaching, you also need to make preparations, by feasting on My word. Then you’ll be able to evangelize during tumultuous times ahead. It’s My good news you are offering. Speak of My peace you have freely received. How My peace has given you rest during times when bad news prevails. Therefore, be prepared to offer My peace wherever you go.Get up and walk the talk. I have already been wooing those individuals you encounter to fully receive Me.
Ephesians 6:15 (AMP) “And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.” Kevin Robinson
November 9, 2012. Know what you believe. Believe what you know. When the Scriptures reveal a truth of God, sometimes you cannot believe it. It may seem absurd, impossible or simply unreasonable to believe. You know you have the truth but dare you act on it as true? You encounter others who acted on the truth and you examine their fruit. I t looks good. Now you wonder more because you have encountered faith and courage on exhibit together. The Lord says, “I am the One who rides on the winds. When you are born again, you are able to go where God wills and do what He directs regardless of circumstances. You also live a life that is mostly unexplainable in its goodness to those outside of God’s Spirit. Know it, believe it and act on it.”
John 3:8 (AMP) “The wind blows (breathes) where it wills; and though you hear its sound, yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” Ras Robinson
November 9, 2012. You have been feeling so alone. I see and feel the hurt and grief of your heart. Right now there is no one in the physical to hold you, no one to touch or who you can touch. Nothing could be further from the truth that you are alone. I am there. I know I am not there with a body with skin and bones but I want you to feel My presence and know that I will never leave you. If you could see and experience the invisible you would see Me right there by your side, smiling and holding you affectionately just at the time when you need it.
John 20:29 (NLT) “Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”
Romans 8:38-39 (NLT) “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Bev Robinson
November 9, 2012. My family has faith operating as one to move mountains. We have operated with great faith regarding my great-nephew Cade. According to physician’s statements, he had a zero percent chance of living when he was born. We stood and believed and my great-nephew lives. The Lord says, “You’ve received revelation to accept Me as Savior. You’ve found it hard to wrap your mind around the idea of performing the same wonders as Me and more. You can do the same! I spoke peace to storms, do likewise and more! I brought sight to the blind, do the same and more! I set captives free from Satan’s grip, equally perform these same acts.
John 14:12 (KJV) “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Kevin Robinson
November 8, 2012. It can be said that the words of your mouth can be your ruin. On the contrary, the words from your mouth can bless you and others. Building your house on righteous words is a sure fire way to insure that your house is on the Rock who is Jesus. The Lord says, “Choose now to sanctify the words coming from your mouth. Instead of trying to dress them up with fleshly and worldly techniques, try finding My words in My Scriptures and find creative and truthful words for your speaking. Kindle the fire of the Holy Spirit as a baptismal for your words before you utter them. Watch the devil flee and the angels accompany your speech.”
Proverbs 8:8 (NKJV) “All the words of my mouth are with righteousness; Nothing crooked or perverse is in them.” Ras Robinson
November 8, 2012. There is something ahead you are dreading. You know it has to be done but fear is involved, not a debilitating fear, but nevertheless it is something you are afraid might happen. If it happens again, you are right. It would not be good. But don’t let your thoughts focus on what might go wrong. When those thoughts come, and they will come, do not entertain them at all. I will work things out for you and when the time comes, there will be those who will help and support you. You won’t have to walk through this alone. But don’t worry precious one. It is not going to happen again.
Psalms 37:3-4 (NLT) “Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.” Bev Robinson
November 8, 2012. Love, acceptance, and forgiveness are earmarks of the way you should walk. You say you love Me, yet you despise your neighbor. You say you accept others, but you backbite and devour one another because they act differently than you do. Also, you say you have forgiven others their sins and shortcomings, yet you still hold them captive inside your heart. Your closed in world would be very boring if everything was the same . I allow different mindsets to be among you so you can learn to walk in harmony with others. Keep Me at the center of everything you do. Stop following after your own selfish desires and follow Me.
1 John 4:20-21 (MSG) “If anyone boasts, “I love God,” and goes right on hating his brother or sister, thinking nothing of it, he is a liar. If he won’t love the person he can see, how can he love the God he can’t see? The command we have from Christ is blunt: Loving God includes loving people. You’ve got to love both.” Kevin Robinson
November 7, 2012. You have some choices to make. Life keeps getting more and more demanding and complicated. Your memory reminds you of mistakes you have made in the past. This leaves you uncertain for the present choices. The Lord says, “Do not attempt in the dark that which is already difficult in the light. You do not have the eyes of a cat. But you have My eyes that can see in the dark the same as the day. Throw yourself on My mercy, humbling yourself. Ask of Me and I will answer you and show you many things you need to know. Why strike out on your own without Me in a time like this. My Spirit will lead, guide and give you peace. Ask in faith believing.”
Proverbs 8:17 (NKJV) “I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.” Ras Robinson
November 7, 2012. A challenge is before you. You have been putting off handling it for a long time because you simply don’t know what to do. It seems impossible. An answer and solution will come from an unexpected source. You will be amazed at how easy it will be to handle with the tools you will be given. It’s so simple you will want to apply this solution to other challenges that are on their way. You have waited on Me and My timing and haven’t tried to complicate the process by going ahead with your own ideas and in your own strength. What feels insurmountable now will soon be efficiently handled.
James 3:17 (NASB) “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.” Bev Robinson
November 7, 2012. Turn away from all the distracting things clamoring for your devotion to Me. My love for you is infinite, complete and has nothing to do with your performance. All sorts of outside and inside noises have distracted you from your first love. Do whatever it takes to reawaken the slumbering spirit which has been slowing you down. Remember the excitement and enthusiasm you once had for Me. The embers are still burning in your innermost being. Look in the mirror and smile. Take time to be thankful for the blessings I have poured out on you. See how I have kept you as the apple of My eye, My most exquisite one.
Psalm 51:10-12 (ERV) “God, create a pure heart in me, and make my spirit strong again. Don’t push me away or take your Holy Spirit from me. Your help made me so happy. Give me that joy again. Make my spirit strong and ready to obey you.” Kevin Robinson
November 6, 2012. What would cause your life to kick into high gear and at the same time increase your joy and effectiveness beyond measure? A pastor asked me, “What can I do to get our church excited, unified and growing?” The answer from God in His Scriptures is to experience the “Explosion of the Holy Spirit” and sell everything to follow His lead. God wants you to experience the explosion of the Holy Spirit for your life, the life of your church, job or business. The Scripture verses below give a clear path for the believer who is hungry for more, for that explosion of the Holy Spirit. Read them carefully and prayerfully. Our prayers are with you.
Acts 2:1-4 (MSG) “When the Feast of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Without warning there was a sound like a strong wind, gale force-no one could tell where it came from. It filled the whole building . Then, like a wildfire, the Holy Spirit spread through their ranks, and they started speaking in a number of different languages as the Spirit prompted them.
Acts 10:38 (NLT) “And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.”
Ephesians 5:18 (NLT) “Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Acts 1:8 (NLT) “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere-in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Ras Robinson
November 6, 2012. A new day is dawning. Blessings are headed your way. At one time you were not being understood, because you weren’t like some others. You were never intended to be like the others. You are unique, like no one else, especially not like those who misunderstood you. They were looking for your actions and reactions to be like theirs, but they weren’t. For a while it caused misunderstandings and rejection to arise among all of you. You were rejected first and then you turned the tables rejecting them. Everyone will humble themselves, forgive and will begin to love each other. It will be better than you and they have ever imagined.
1 John 4:7-8 (NASB) “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” Bev Robinson
November 6, 2012. There’s no need to justify your behavior. Accept responsibility for your unrighteous words and actions. Stop making excuses for what you’ve done. Who’s in charge here? You? Ponder your thoughts before you speak. Even if you are correct with what you say, was being right worth the fallout? Your words have been like a flame thrower, burning everything in your path. You’ve burned bridges and other things which will take an act by Me to restore. Let Me place a guard over your lips. Stop tearing down and start building up. I created good with My word. Create good with your words and actions as well. Let others see who I AM.
1 Peter 3:10-12 (NLT) “He who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” Kevin Robinson
November 5, 2012. Oh to be found faithful! Have you been faithful in your Christian life? Would others call you a faithful person? My son just finished driving a quality truck in his occupation until the speedometer read 400,000 miles. All the years it was in his possession, he kept it very clean and in tip top running order. His precious wife affirmed him, “Honey, you are such a good steward.” She was affirming his faithfulness. Now he has bought another newer truck. Moses probably got tired of his six million murmuring Hebrews. They complained about the food and lack of water and grossly transgressed God’s love and laws. But God called Moses faithful in his entire house. God affirms our faithfulness! May He find you faithful in His entire house.
Hebrews 3:1-2 (KJV). “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.” Ras Robinson
November 5, 2012. Are you really hearing Me? This is a question you have been asking lately. You’re wondering if you are allowing a figment of your imagination to arise within your soul. Until recently this has seldom been a problem. You felt like you were mostly hearing with high fidelity. Hearing Me seemed to be somewhat easy. But suddenly without warning you are beginning to doubt if what you are hearing is from Me. This is a good question you’re asking. I know the reason this is happening but you need to continue listening. Don’t move into fear or doubt because new understanding is on its way. Wisdom and insight is coming soon.
1 Corinthians 2:11-12 (NLT) “No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.” Bev Robinson
November 5, 2012. All that is Mine is yours. Some of you cast condemnation upon yourself. It is because you have felt unworthy due to your past. Receive the fullness of My blessings today. Get in on the victorious way of living I have to give. Take note of believers who seem to have more confidence than others. It is in large part because they have learned to focus their mind on the present. You’ve been forgiven from your past. Receive yourself. You are the finest of all My creations. Receive your rightful inheritance as My child. Let nothing stand in your way. Take Me and all that goes with Me. Take steps forward.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.” Kevin Robinson
November 4, 2012. You are trying so hard to please Me. Your heart and understanding is that if you could but do enough, you will gain My favor for all your work. Determination to please Me is your sure strategy to gain success and increase. The works of a believer, like you, are very good. Doing what the Lord says to you is essential and is pleasing to Him. However, what you do in works must be founded in faith and constantly fueled by faith in God. If at any time you turn from or forget the foundation and fuel of your faith, then all you get in this life is what your fleshly works have gained for you. I say unto you, start with faith and then work My works. My blessings are yours.
Romans 4:1-5 (NASB) “What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, has found? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Now to the one who works, his wage is not credited as a favor, but as what is due. But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness…” Ras Robinson
November 4, 2012. Stay on course and do what is most important. I will show you the right time, the right place and the right way. It’s not that you’re not now on course, but there will be a temptation to get off course. That is why I am alerting you. Be sure your top attention is given to what must be done. The thing that must be done is what will help others the most; that is what gives it the importance it has. Other things may be more attractive and more interesting, but don’t let them draw you away. Precious, pace yourself and you will get to do it all.
Eccl 3:1 (KJV) “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Bev Robinson
November 4, 2012. Walk according to My ways. Check your spirit at every doorway. Each day you have opportunities to make an impact in someone else’s life. My word says ask, seek and knock and the door will be opened unto you. Every situation of which you are a part gives you the chance to change the life of someone. The question is, will you walk according to flesh or walk with the fruit of the Spirit representing My compassion and grace? Checking yourself at every step lets Me open up people to My glory and majesty. Speak softly and quietly and listen attentively to others. Operate in obedience to what I’m telling you to say and do.
Micah 6:8 (MSG) “But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, and don’t take yourself too seriously-take God seriously. Kevin Robinson
November 3, 2012. You are experiencing that “sinking feeling” again. You cannot yet identify the source. Could it be the national or local election news that seems to show God is not answering your prayers? Even with your fasting and prayer, the projected end of the race looks dim. It was like that for Job, the most righteous man in the earth during his day. He was more than discouraged and becoming distraught. Even his friends turned against him while scoffing and making fun. But in the end, Job was outlandishly blessed by God. The Apostle Paul was bound in chains in Jerusalem. On another occasion he was thrown into jail. But in the end he wrote most of the New Testament and glorified God continually, even in his martyred death. Trade your “sinking feeling” in on “hope against hope” like Abraham.
Romans 4:18-21 (NASB) “In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken, “SO SHALL YOUR DESCENDANTS BE.” Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb; yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.” Ras Robinson
November 3, 2012. It’s time to take a break. You have been trying so hard to get the job done and nothing of any substance is coming forth. Now you are wondering why. You wonder if you have done something wrong and don’t know it, maybe allowing the enemy to come in. Everything seemed to be going well. You don’t perceive anything wrong. You have been going at a fast clip and your mind and body have been very active. You have been through some strong emotions and now it’s time for a rest. You are just tired. So take your break. Get back going when you have had a short time of rest.
Hebrews 4:1 (NLT) “God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it.” Bev Robinson
November 3, 2012. Place Me first and foremost in your life. Position Me as the single, solitary and leading figure in your life. I AM THE GREAT I AM. I AM the answer to all of your questions. I AM the one who sits on the throne in the highest. I AM omniscient. I AM omnipresent. I AM omnipotent. I AM your all in all. I have made My dwelling within you. Place Me as the ultimate and highest priority in your life. In the matters you think are small, seek Me first. In matters which are critical and vitally important to you, seek Me first. You must have no other gods before Me.
Psalm 96:10 (NLT) “Tell all the nations, “The Lord reigns!” The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. He will judge all peoples fairly.” Kevin Robinson
November 2, 2012. Finding the right companion is vitally important. In creation, God admitted that man was incomplete and needed a companion to be whole and blessed. It truly is not good for man to be alone. Making a lifetime commitment to love and care for a companion is a very serious consideration. 55+ years ago, I found mine. After all these years, she is still as beautiful and full of life as she ever was. My commitment, when joined by hers, has produced two children, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren to date. All of us have the blessings of Abraham our faith father and are assured those blessings will continue. In good times and bad times, God is at work to bless and multiply.
Genesis 2:18 (NLT) “Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” Ras Robinson
November 2, 2012. You didn’t fall apart even though you felt like it. You didn’t overreact and speak out of your emotions and I am pleased because you held your tongue. You see now it was not as you thought it was. And you too are pleased you didn’t overreact. When I said wait on Me, you waited. Aren’t you glad you listened and obeyed? Learn from this and don’t react so quickly when your emotions and attitude feels cranky. Ask Me what to do. Resist the thoughts the devil bombards you with. Hide yourself in Me like you did this time and life will be much more peaceful. Precious, I am teaching you.
Proverbs 3:1-2 (MSG) “Good friend, don’t forget all I’ve taught you; take to heart my commands. They’ll help you live a long, long time, a long life lived full and well.” Bev Robinson
November 2, 2012. You’ve allowed your mind to become entangled in Satan’s snares and traps of hostility. Stop allowing Satan’s ploys of division and separation among you. He’s dishonest toward you because he was cast out of heaven for not getting his way. Similarly, you’ve allowed your difference of opinion and belief structure with others, to interrupt and steal My infinite blessings toward you. You’ve selected who and what you’ll include and exclude. Splitting up and strife proves you’re self-seeking, not knowing who and whose you are. You’ve observed discriminating behavior in others and responded antagonistically. Move beyond your immature and childish playground mentality. Love Me, and love your neighbor as yourself.
Philippians 4:8-9 (MSG) “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious-the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.” Kevin Robinson
