What the Lord is Saying Today – May 2013
May 31, 2013. Plumb the depth of God’s love for yourself. What do you think? Then estimate God’s love for the lost. How about His love for His believing children? One of our granddaughters and her sweet husband have recently received not one, but three, foster children. Two are infants and one is two years old. They came to our daughters’ Bible study class today. My wife and the other students were mesmerized by these new arrivals. God’s love flowed towards those children. God loves you and the lost souls around you. Consider it.
Ephesians 3:18-19 (MSG) “…you’ll be able to take in with all Christians the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.” Ras Robinson
May 31, 2013. Now what? It isn’t as bad as you thought it would be. But don’t let your guard down. Always stay on guard for your enemy. He wants to do defeat you in any way he can. If he can’t take the frontal route he will come in from the side and especially the back. You can’t handle this by yourself. Don’t let your mind go there especially when it is not as bad as you thought it was. Stay on the alert at all times with your eyes focused on Me.
Genesis 3:1 (NKJV) “Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said…?” Bev Robinson
May 31, 2013. Take Me seriously when I say to pray without ceasing. Pray at every moment. Deliver all, all, all things over to Me and My lordship. Whatever situation or issue you are presented with, pray. First and foremost, let everyone one of your requests be known before My Father’s throne in prayer. Pray before any words are ever spoken. You have implored for Me to never leave you and I won’t. Nothing is too minute or too enormous for Me. Ask, seek, and knock for Me at every moment every day.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NLT) “Never stop praying.” Kevin Robinson
May 30, 2013. Good words have power. The same can be said for words that are not good. Few things, if any, have more power to make and keep a family or church happy as gracious words sincerely spoken. This kind of power is made more powerful when seasoned with salt. Add grace to your words and you have seasoned with the salt. God is no respecter of persons and neither should you be. Bless the lowly and the great alike. The way in which you speak to a person displays the Lord or the devil.
Colossians 4:6 (KJV) “Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” Ras Robinson
May 30, 2013. The cosmos, the worlds, came into existence by what I thought. Jesus spoke My thoughts. The Holy Spirit then hovered and brought it all into existence. This is the same way your world… your cosmos happens. Think My thoughts. Say My words and then do them. All things are from Me, through Me and back to Me. This is the cycle of life. Do you want the good life? Yes I know you do. This is the way to have it. Precious one, Jesus is praying for you.
Romans 11:36 (NIV) “For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.” Bev Robinson
May 30, 2013. See yourself as I do. You can be and are your own worst critic. Stop beating yourself up with negative thoughts of things you have done. Forgive yourself. I paid the full price for forgiveness of all your sins. My death, burial, and resurrection are living proof of your slate being wiped clean. I see you spotless, blameless and without fault through My blood which was poured out for you. Don’t live in the past. Don’t dwell in a mistake mentality. Live in the present, in the here and now.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” Kevin Robinson
May 29, 2013. What is that you fear? There is no fear or calamity so great that your God cannot handle it. Face that fear. Stand it down with your faith in God. A snake is to be feared but God is bigger. A snake bit Paul and was hanging from his hand over a fire. All were afraid. But Paul just shook the snake off into the fire, suffering no harm. You will see snakes during your lifetime. God wants you to shake them off into the fire. He wants a victory song from you.
Acts 28:3, 5 (NASB) ”But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened itself on his hand… However he shook the creature off into the fire and suffered no harm.” Ras Robinson
May 29, 2013. You haven’t seen anything yet. What’s ahead is so much more than what you’ve imagined. It will not be what you are thinking now. It will be much more. Hearing Me and following Me is simple. It isn’t always easy, but it is simple. If your heart is completely given over to Me, just do what comes to your mind and what is in your heart. The key is giving your heart totally to Me with no agenda of your own. My plan is much greater than your agenda.
1 Corinthians 2:9 (AMP) ”But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [ who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].” Bev Robinson
May 29, 2013. Unity is a choice which is like singing a song. Recollect on how awful a vocal arrangement can sound when harmony is not maintained. It sounds like a clanging cymbal. Listen attentively to those around you. Remove pride from your midst. Focus on doing whatever it takes with others to make Me look and sound pleasant to the eyes and ears. Practice keeping agreements. Unity is a simple decision which starts with you. Your enemy always wants division. Choose to walk in one accord.
Colossians 3:14 (NASB) “Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.” Kevin Robinson
May 28, 2013. This is not the time to say something. You are keeping your thoughts mostly to yourself and to Me. This is good. Keep doing that, because this is the way it is supposed to be right now. There will be a time later to share what is going on. You are wondering how you will know. You will know. I will show you and it will be evident. You are doing well by keeping what is going on in a small circle. I am working in the darkness to bring light.
John 8:12 (AMP) ”Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.”Bev Robinson
May 28, 2013. Quite frankly, some have mastered the art of so-called discernment. They can seemingly find fault in someone else at a miles distance. Why is the so? Perhaps you too have similar tendencies or attributes as those you look down upon. Realize the weight of what I am saying. There are repercussions to actions you are doing now. Ask Me to revolutionize your heart from one of stone to one of flesh. Let love abound in all the things you do or say. Be known as a grace giver.
Romans 2:1 (KJV) ”Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.” Kevin Robinson
May 27, 2013. Keep obeying and serving the Lord Almighty. His rewards are very great for those brave faith warriors called by God. You are one of those, chosen and prepared for this very time. Do not worry about those who seem to have more than you. Your Father in Heaven has chosen your measure. How gracious He has been. Yet, He has stored up so much more for you and you cannot stop now. Don’t even think of quitting. You will be poured out for Me throughout your many years yet to come.
John 21:18 (NASB) “Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were younger, you used to gird yourself and walk wherever you wished; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will gird you, and bring you where you do not wish to go.” Ras Robinson
May 27, 2013. When you are walking in your flesh you are shy and fearful. I know you and I love you just like you are. But there is a better way to walk and its place is in Me. Stay tight under the shadow of My wing, close to My heart. I like you there and you like to be there. It is the place of wonder and amazement and at the same time the place of security and joy. I have things for you to do that you have never thought about.
Matthew 28:8 (AMP) “So they left the tomb hastily with fear and great joy and ran to tell the disciples.” Bev Robinson
May 27, 2013. Truthfully, are you hot or cold? It is evident to those who know you well. However, do you actually know where you stand or is it thought about you that you are halfhearted. Don’t allow sneaky deception to creep in on you. Do an honest gut check. Be truthful with yourself. You can know the walk and know the talk and not know Me. Be bold enough to ask a trusted friend how they see you. Being halfhearted is fruitless. God knows fully where you stand. It’s one or the other.
Revelation 3:15 (NLT) “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other!” Kevin Robinson
May 25, 2013. Through pain and shame you have learned a lesson. You were insensitive to the feelings of others. The result was that you hurt their feelings. And these are among those you love the most. You talk about your own tenderness and sensitivity. It is true. What about others? Whereas you apologized and were forgiven, the pain and shame lingers. What I want from you now is that you know My ways and paths. Receive revelation of My ways. Allow Me to teach you My paths. All is well that ends well.
Psalm 25:4 (NASB) “Make me know Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths.” Ras Robinson
May 25, 2013. Now is the time to exercise great alertness. Nothing to be afraid of, just be alert. Your enemy Satan is looking for someone to defeat. Keep your eyes focused on Me, but out on the edge of your vision keep your eye on the enemy. He is lurking about. By keeping Me in the center of your vision and him in corner of your eye, he will pass you by seeing your focus is on the most powerful One. Indeed bind him, but with no big deal. He’s the one defeated.
Hebrews 12:2 (NKJV) “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Bev Robinson
May 25, 2013. Faith with works, works. In fully complete obedience to My Father’s instruction, I only did what He said to do and nothing else. I follow His word step by step, line upon line, and precept upon precept. Let Me tune the knob of your heart with pinpoint accuracy. Move only when I say move. Don’t rule out what appears to be ludicrous, ridiculous or absurd. Who would have thought spitting in the dirt and making mud to smear on a man’s eyes would give him vision. Go and make disciples.
James 2:17 (NIV) “In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” Kevin Robinson
May 24, 2013. Read carefully and meditate deeply on My word concerning the fountain of blessings I have given you in your spouse. When a man loves his wife with sensitive tenderness, she responds in a fountain of blessing for him. Somehow, I believe it is also true of the husband in the same way. Parents and grandparents have enormous power to start this same fountain going in their descendants. In this way, generations are blessed and learn how to pass blessings along even in their church and nation. It is the plan of God.
Proverbs 5:18 (NLT) “Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you. Rejoice in the wife of your youth.” Ras Robinson
May 24, 2013. The words from your mouth bring life or death. It is hard to think something so familiar could be so powerful. But nevertheless it’s true. I have put you where you are to speak life in all circumstances. Stop negative thinking and speaking. Roll it all over to Me. Precious, who put you in the place of corrector? I will tell you if correcting needs to be done… if any and when. If you correct someone, remember to say it with the same care that you want others to correct you.
Proverbs 18:21 (AMP) “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].” Bev Robinson
May 24, 2013. Throughout Scripture I demonstrated many ways to show My love to those around Me. With My disciples I demonstrated the value of washing the feet of another in true humility. I took time to carefully and gently wash their feet. This has become a forgotten sacrament among you. I used this example of operating in grace to them even though I knew one would betray Me. Nevertheless, take time to literally wash one another’s feet in a basin as I did. Wash each other with the water of My word.
John 13:14 (NKJV) “If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.” Kevin Robinson
May 23, 2013. Making declarations of My truth, in faith believing, can work miracles. You have every right to use My word to gain My intended blessings for your life. Think of it like a shovel in a grain bin to load the grain for your consumption. I want to transfer Heaven’s blessings to you. Positive declarations might just be a revelation to change your life forever. Declare the quality of goodness (state of being good) to be yours. Declare lovingkindness (tender and benevolent affection). Declare your dwelling in God’s house or temple forever.
Psalm 23:6 (NASB) “Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” Ras Robinson
May 23, 2013. There is something you think you need to say. It’s not easy…it’s hard. You roll it over and over in your mind, wondering if it really needs to be said. You really don’t want to, but are afraid if you don’t you’ll wish you had. You don’t need the emotion that accompanies this. Record it simply and leave it all with Me. In a sense forget it. I will bring the circumstance at the right time. You will know when and how and what and even if you are to speak.
Matthew 6:33-34 (NASB) “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow willcare for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Bev Robinson
May 23, 2013. Get in line with My Father’s will. Let Him be in command in all things concerning you. Though the last fruit of the Spirit is self-control, let Him control, guide, and lead you. Many people get stuck on trying to change things in and among themselves. Let Him change you. Let go. Relinquish your controlling mindset and yield the right of way to him. You can be so focused on your will being done and winning your battles that you cannot see He’s working on your behalf all the time.
Psalm 55:22 (MSG) ”Pile your troubles on God’s shoulders – He’ll carry your load, He’ll help you out. He’ll never let good people topple into ruin.” Kevin Robinson
May 22, 2013. What is your testimony before the Lord? Has He been good to you? Do you find Him lacking in compassion? These questions seem absurd at times in your life. But at other times, they expose how it really is. God keeps you in His mind and writes your name in palm of His hand. He does not ignore the needy. Disasters become the stage for displaying His lordship and mercy. He waits for the cry for help. When you cry out, “Help me Lord, He comes.” Testify of His goodness.
Psalm 22:24 (NLT) “For he has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy. He has not turned his back on them, but has listened to their cries for help.” Ras Robinson
May 22, 2013. I have such a bright future stored for you, but to receive all of it you need to latch on and follow Me with pinpoint obedience. You got off course for a while but are now getting back in the center of my will. I have had a good plan for you from the beginning. I want you to fully believe and know all of this and store it deep in your heart and memory bank. I have blessing on top of blessing which is yours for the taking. Believe and walk freely in them.
Deuteronomy 28:2 (NASB) “All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the Lord your God:” Bev Robinson
May 22, 2013. Since the time you were born, you have had resistance bound up within you. Why? It’s part of your nature since the fall of Adam and Eve. Primarily because you think life is all about you and your selfish desires and wants. Now that you’re mature, realign and yield yourself to My original plans for blessings and prosperity. Repent on a daily basis. Become passionate in your submission to My ways, not your own. Instead of resisting Me, resist the devil. See for yourself how he resists you and moves on.
James 4:6 (AMP) “But He gives us more and more grace (power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it).” Kevin Robinson
May 21, 2013. Come up here. You are designed for high flight. Your eyes are filled with excitement and expectation when I see you soaring here beside Me. Come now and let us navigate the destinations I have for you. You have been chosen for this special time and place. Do not scorn those who cannot seem to get off the ground into the air. Remember that you were like that not too long ago. Let your scorn be replaced with encouragement and other words that build up, stir up and cheer up.
1 Corinthians 14:3 (NASB) ”But one who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation.” Ras Robinson
May 21, 2013. Yes there are changes that need to be made. You know you made some poor choices. Admit to Me fully what you did and didn’t do, but don’t dwell there. If you dwell there too long and rehearse in your mind the choices you made, you won’t change. But if you listen to Me closely and do what I say, you can make the changes that you know are right. Then you won’t have the depression you’re experiencing now. I know you are feeling bad, but follow through to overcome.
Mark 1:15 (MSG) “Time’s up! God’s kingdom is here. Change your life and believe the Message.” Bev Robinson
May 21, 2013. Wait for my timing and then seize the moment. Grab hold of all of Me which is yours for the taking. Once you receive, freely give to others as I’ve given to you. Speak My life and liberty with those around you. Don’t be like stagnant stinking water which is not flowing freely. Instead, allow My encouragement, praise and reassurance to flow freely from you. Generously give me thanks and also give thanks to others for their good deeds. Make the most of the God given moments before you.
Romans 15:5 (AMP) ”Now may the God Who gives the power of patient endurance (steadfastness) and Who supplies encouragement, grant you to live in such mutual harmony and such full sympathy with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus,” Kevin Robinson
May 20, 2013. Baptism in the Holy Spirit changes you. The first time I saw a congregation who had experienced being filled with the Holy Spirit, the freedom I saw come to those people scared me. I had been warned so much about excesses. But when the Holy Spirit fell on me, I was totally changed. Joy flooded my soul. God is still sending the Holy Spirit to the spiritually hungry. He is no respecter of persons. When the flood comes, all boats rise. Ask God for this baptism that can make you like a child.
Matthew 18:3 (NASB) “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” Ras Robinson
May 20, 2013. Now is not the time to communicate. You can’t get yourself quieted down enough to hear Me. There are so many voices vying for your attention it is hard to hear My voice. It’s all right, precious one. When you get yourself settled down enough to hear only Me, I will still be right here. I am not going anywhere. When Jesus was finishing His work on earth and the veil was rent, He enabled you to come to Me anytime. Now slow down and get your spirit in tune with Me.
1 Corinthians 2:12-13 (NASB) “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, [1]combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.” Bev Robinson
May 20, 2013. In a world filled with lies, deception and fraud, know that My promises to you are yes and amen. When your world has crumpled and caved in upon you, reach out to Me and My certainties. When you get rejected, become dejected and get to a point of utter despair, turn your complete attention to Me. My plan is to re-establish things which appear to be catastrophic, to a better state than they were before misfortune crossed your threshold. Know Me as your Savior. I am truth and I cannot lie.
Psalm 25:5 (NLT) ”Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.” Kevin Robinson
May 18, 2013. These are the days of Elijah. The time of times is here. Give priority to the Lord. Make way for Him to come into your life and take over. You are waiting for others to change, but it is you who needs to change. This change will be the last major change you will need to make because it is the work of the Lord. Do not be ashamed to humble yourself. Fathers and their children, mothers and their children will come to Me and be glad. These are the days of Elijah.
Malachi 4:5-6 (NASB) “Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD. He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse.” Ras Robinson
May 18, 2013. The right direction is before you. Don’t think it to death. Don’t wonder why you haven’t been successful until now. Just obey and do the thing you know is right. This is a fresh start. There is a reward for obedience, just like there are consequences when you aren’t obedient. I believe in you. Do you believe in Me? When you lay this all at My feet, I pick it up and help you overcome what you cannot overcome by yourself. Precious, do it according to My word.
Romans 8:5-6 (NLT) “Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.” Bev Robinson
May 18, 2013. Become aware of conditions around you. Too often you get caught up in your daily routine of doing things and lose touch with the spiritual world around you. Ask Me to remove scales from your eyes so you can see. Satan is the ultimate deceiver and he wants to keep blinders on your eyes to keep you in uninterrupted obscurity. Can you see the spiritual world around you? Is your life consumed by possessions in the natural? Can you see? Ask Me to reveal My truths to you.
Acts 9:18 (NASB) “And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he regained his sight, and he got up and was baptized;” Kevin Robinson
May 17, 2013. Your vision is clear. God has opened your eyes and heart. You now can see what before you could not see. Wealth and prosperity of the Lord will catch and overpower you as a reward for faith and faithfulness. Prayer is your weapon against the thief and robber who lurks to bring you down. On your knees is the very best position for defending what God has given and is about to give you. You will make the Lord proud of the day He brought you to redemption. Stand strong.
Amos 9:13 (MSG) “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” GOD’s Decree. “Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once-and everywhere you look, blessings!” Ras Robinson
May 17, 2013. Don’t get sidetracked. Always be open to My correction of your course of action, but stay focused only on Me and what I say. Don’t let what someone else says distract you. There will always be those who are sent to get you off track. Don’t turn your back on them, but weigh your actions by what I say. Remember you do have an enemy and he is always trying to get you off course. Someone may not be aware at all that they are being used. Don’t judge. Bless and curse not.
Romans 12:17-18 (NLT) “Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.” Bev Robinson
May 17, 2013. Offer loving kindness freely to one and all. Don’t show any form of favoritism to anyone. Love does not show preferential treatment toward anyone. Freely you have received My love and mercy. In like manner do the same with everyone you encounter. Love doesn’t show partiality based on head knowledge, but on the love I have given you deep within your heart. Take action on what you know as the truth implanted within you. Extend My compassion and thoughtfulness to all.
John 8:32 (NLT) “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Kevin Robinson
May 15, 2013. Your words are beautiful, eloquent and finely crafted. Many are blessed and some astounded at the goodness of your words. But the truth is that your heart is far from My truth. Something is wrong at your core. Behind your lips is a blackened heart full of judgment and unforgiveness. The Lord says unto you, “Take heed lest you fall as never before. I am not a God who can be tempted. There is not even one of mine who is not disciplined. Humble yourself and make things right.”
Matthew 15:8 (NLT) “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” Ras Robinson
May 15, 2013. Now is the time to get some things done you have put off. The conditions are just about perfect. You have made a case so often in your mind that this is not the time and things have piled up into what you now think is a monumental task. This is not going away on its own. So do a little at a time and you will be surprised at how quickly you will accomplish your goal. But you need to start before the task can be completed. Begin now.
Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 (NASB) “I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one’s lifetime; moreover, that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor-it is the gift of God.” Bev Robinson
May 15, 2013. Now is not the time for complacency. Cast aside any thoughts of anxiety you have had which have been hindering your progress with Me. The dreams and desires within you have been placed there by Me. Don’t let Satan or your flesh get in the way of fulfilling awesome ideas you have. Be a doer. Become proactive with inklings you have and see them come to fruition. Remove the notions of “what if”, or “if only.” Ask Me for wisdom. Consult Me thoroughly. Take action here and now.
1 Samuel 14:7 (NASB) “His armor bearer said to him, “Do all that is in your heart; turn yourself, and here I am with you according to your desire.” Kevin Robinson
May 14, 2013. The one who works will leave things unclean at times. If you are providing well for your family, this is good. Be a productive person, but also be known for keeping things clean. Wise and efficient is the worker who sweeps and cleans after each work session. There is one who keeps a broom and dustpan in the work area so that at the end of each work session, they make the work place clean. Consider your work habits and opt for the good harvest. Let all be happy.
Proverbs 14:4 (NLT) “Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest.” Ras Robinson
May 14, 2013. There is a sick feeling in the pit of your stomach. Your heart hurts because of the dissing you heard about someone. Someone else also gave you a report of another dissing. You wish you hadn’t asked. You don’t understand why the devil is having a heyday. What you want to avoid now is to judge the ones who have done the dissing. The best thing you can do is pray for all involved and bind the works of the devil. Leave this all with Me. I will handle it.
1 Peter 5:6-8 (NASB) “casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” Bev Robinson
May 14, 2013. Represent Me. Exemplify Me. Demonstrate Me. I have multiple ways to show forth My Lordship in the earth. One of My most exquisite methods of displaying Myself is through you. Put Me on display like an exhibition. I reveal Myself in ways far beyond what your mind can perceive. You embody all of who I am. Do not be afraid of what Holy Spirit can do in and through you. Train yourself to recognize Me outside of the box. I cannot be contained, but I will reveal Myself through you.
John 14:17 (NLT) “He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.” Kevin Robinson
May 13, 2013. Attack your enemy by and with the word of the Lord. You have a persistent enemy. David had the persistence of the Philistines. He asked and God told him he would have the victory, but that he had to attack the Philistines. When David attacked, he slaughtered them, exploding David’s enemies. David immediately gave God praise for exploding his enemies as water explodes from a burst pipe. They named the battlefield Baal-Explosion. You have such an enemy in your life. God is saying the same to you, “Attack your enemy.”
1 Chronicles 14:10-11 (MSG) “David prayed to God: “Is this the right time to attack the Philistines? Will you give me the victory?” GOD answered, “Attack; I’ll give you the victory.” David attacked at Baal Perazim and slaughtered them. David said, “God exploded my enemies, as water explodes from a burst pipe.” That’s how the place got its name, Baal Perazim (Baal-Explosion).” Ras Robinson
May 13, 2013. My way is the way of love. The eyes of love are the eyes I want you to look through when you are looking at others, yes even when looking at yourself. Don’t look to see what you can find through the eyes of judgment. Anyone can do that. That is the low and broad road. I have called you to you to the high road… the narrow road. On my road the air is much cleaner and the view is much better. Precious, stay above the fray.
James 2:8 (AMP) “If indeed you [really] fulfill the royal Law in accordance with the Scripture, You shall love your neighbor as [you love] yourself, you do well.” Bev Robinson
May 13, 2013. Speak peace to storms, whether they are natural or spiritual. Take and use the authority and power I’ve given you and use it wisely. Train yourself to use My wisdom to circumvent tempests that arise without warning. Some people get overwhelmed with fear and anxiety when storms approach. That’s not the situation for you though. Take full advantage of who you are in Me. I was able to rest in the midst of a squall with My disciples. Exhibit peace and rest with those around you when storms rise up.
Mark 4:39 (NKJV) “Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. Kevin Robinson
May 11, 2013. By giving, you receive. Through laying down your life, more and better life is given to you. You have found life, but now you must give it away. Such is the upside down life in the Kingdom of God. Less is often more and more can be less. With Jesus as Lord, a kingdom believer must adapt to a new way of thinking. You live in the word of God. The Holy Spirit finds it easier to teach and lead you. Once you yield, the Holy Spirit takes over.
Matthew 10:39 (NASB) “He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.” Ras Robinson
May 11, 2013. My voice resonates in your spirit. When you hear what I say and obey Me, rest and blessings pile on top of each other. There is something you’ve heard Me say and know you should be doing, but you have put it off time and time again. If you would do what I say when I say it, rest and blessings would pile up. But when you don’t, some rest and blessings slow down and eventually stop. Get in on My abundance. Precious, this is the time to begin again.
Hebrews 4:7 (NLT) “So God set another time for entering his rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David much later in the words already quoted: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.” Bev Robinson
May 11, 2013. See yourself as I do. Stop referencing yourself as how you see yourself in the mirror. Move beyond what you perceive to be past failures or disappointments in your life. My promises are true; they are yes and amen. Believe who I say you are. You are beautiful. You are magnificent. You are awe-inspiring, so much so that you are the vessel I have chosen to reveal My glory in and through. I could have chosen many other vessels but I chose you. Choose to reflect My brilliance.
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NASB) “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.” Kevin Robinson
May 10, 2013. Clean up your body and lifestyle. Abundance is mesmerizing. Ask God if you can give more to the church and to the poor. Let your generosity be led by God. Our daughter and her husband cannot really afford to sponsor five children, but they do. We are grateful our son and his wife sponsor two children and help feed the poor as well. Over time, I believe we have given away four cars to those who needed them worse than we did. I am glad my family gives generously. Try it. The returns on the investments are good.
Luke 6:38 (NASB) “Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure-pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” Ras Robinson
May 10, 2013. Be alert now. Don’t fall back into some old habits. Continue walking the upward path. Thoughts have crept in that the path is not interesting. Dismiss those thoughts. They come straight from your enemy. The path at this time is just the right fit for you… designed just for you. Get your thoughts onto what I have set before you. Let yourself become excited to do My will. Don’t consider that others will think it’s not exciting or important. I think it is … so you think it is.
1 Corinthians 9:24-25 (NLT) “Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize.” Bev Robinson
May 10, 2013. Your life is made up of choices. You make choices every day for better or worse. Make wise choices today which reflect your obedience to Me. Ask Me for My wisdom on a daily, moment by moment basis. No matter what setbacks come against you, nothing will prevail against the power of Me within you. Seek wise counsel. Find individuals who have a proven record of success and listen to them carefully. Pay attention to my voice. Pattern your ways to means I have chosen and flourish.
Joshua 24:15 (NASB) “…but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Kevin Robinson
May 9, 2013. God cares about your soul. He knows what keeps it healthy. In His word are plenty of instructions that, if adhered to, will continually heal and restore. Fasting is a cornerstone for healthy living. God speaks of moderation in all things. Becoming obese harms the body. Indulging heavily in joy and laughter rejoices the heart and helps keep the body vigorous. Forgiving those who have sinned against you will take off the weight and heaviness associated with unforgiveness. Singing happy songs makes for a healthy body, soul and spirit. Sing.
Matthew 9:6 (NASB) “But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”-then He *said to the paralytic, “Get up, pick up your bed and go home.” Ras Robinson
May 9, 2013. Competition or cooperation are two choices before you. You know you can do this well because you’ve done it before. Instead of competing, I am calling you to now cooperate. Cooperation with others will be beneficial to everyone involved. But it will take humility on your part. Competition will also get the job done, but left behind will be a wake of hurt feelings and much forgiveness to be accomplished before all can move forward. Accomplishing the task is important but loving one another is more important.
Matthew 22:37-39 (AMP) “And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.” Bev Robinson
May 9, 2013. Listen very carefully to the instructions you are about to receive. Stay true to the course I’ve given you. Those things which have been hidden from your eyes are going to be unveiled very soon. You are about to be given a map to goals which only you know about. You have some unspoken dreams of realms you have yearned for and your patience is going to be rewarded. The excitement that awaits you will be mind boggling. Abundant overflow of My Spirit is coming.
Psalm 57:7 (NLT) “My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident. No wonder I can sing your praises!” Kevin Robinson
May 8, 2013. Sing to Me a new song. Children who sing to you make your heart glad. I have that same joy when you sing to Me. I have not heard from your lips a new song recently. Return to the days when you would sing to Me. You see, I sing over you at night while you are sleeping. It makes My heart glad to express My love for you in songs. Your lyrics and tunes don’t have to be perfect before you sing them. Sing and delight My heart.
Psalm 96:1 (NASB) “Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.” Ras Robinson
May 8, 2013. Lately you have been so hard on yourself and I see this has been increasing for quite a while. You are much harder on yourself than I am. Yes, of course I don’t want you to walk in sin. That will be your downfall. Once you have repented and are walking the other way, don’t continue to beat yourself up. I extend to you grace. Spend your time remembering who you are and who you belong to. When your mind resides there, you won’t be drawn away into sin.
James 2:12-13 (ESV) “So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under the law of liberty. For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.” Bev Robinson
May 8, 2013. I know of your hunger to know more of Me. I’ve invited you to come and partake of all that’s yours. Move beyond any feelings of guilt and shame you might be experiencing right now and see that I serve only the finest to you, My beloved one. You are an heir who is worthy to taste and see that I am good. May your eyes be enlightened to receive revelation of how I see you. I have set a special place for you to feast and dine with Me.
Revelation 3:20 (NASB) “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” Kevin Robinson
May 7, 2013. How about some enthusiasm for this new season? Some of this is a total surprise to you. You made a serious mistake in thinking it was time for you to step aside and outside your destiny. Don’t let your faith dwindle. It is by faith that all things get done. Some have faith only in themselves. Others have faith in secular and worldly guidance. But you have faith in Me. With this faith from Me, you will accomplish the impossible. Your life will continue to be very successful. Only believe.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Ras Robinson
May 7, 2013. Stop and think — you are living by faith. You think you aren’t living by faith because you have a job. You received your job by faith. You have a home because you received it by faith. Once you didn’t have a job and/or a home but now you do. Everything you have came the way of faith. Continue believing Me for what I have put in your heart. Yes, you know I weed out what you have there, but what I put there will come to pass. Continue to believe it will.
1 Corinthians 4:7 (ESV) “What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?” Bev Robinson
May 7, 2013. I can identify with your disappointments and frustrations. When I walked the earth with My disciples, I experienced comparable times with them like you’re experiencing on a continual basis. I had to deal with them in a calm and understanding manner. A lot of circumstances did not come about as I had planned. I constantly had to remind Myself that My Father was and is in control of all things. Find My rest as you are confronted with similar situations. Let Me minister My perfect peace to you right now.
Hebrews 4:16 (NASB) “Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Kevin Robinson

May 5, 2013. More change is coming. Though it may be difficult at first, the end result will be a prolonged blessing for you. Take courage and walk humbly with the Lord and with those He brings your way. Invite the Holy Spirit to fill you every day. Submit to His leadership. No one knows how to please Jesus better. Seek His anointing for this new season you are entering. Walk in peace and assurance that Jesus is indeed Lord of all things. Consult Him constantly about direction. He knows every path.
Luke 4:1 (NASB) “Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led around by the Spirit in the wilderness.” Ras Robinson
May 5, 2013. You are doing the right thing by laying all the choices before Me. I know your heart. Don’t hold anything back. When you are given over completely to My will, I know it. I want you to know it also. When you know you are doing all I am asking, there is peace beyond understanding. But it is not always easy. I continue stretching you beyond your comfort zone. At that point by faith you know you are growing in My will and ways and blessings will soon follow.
Hebrews 11:6 (AMP) “But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].” Bev Robinson
May 5, 2013. Move out beyond your comfort zone. Begin to exercise the freedom you know you have. Step out from the cozy confines of doing the same thing again and again. Refuse to believe Satan’s absurd lies which tell you that you are abnormal or different because you desire more. Set goals of what you aspire to achieve. Trust Me to lead you in My ways. Challenge yourself to get out on the cusp, edge or verge of your dreams. Refuse to be a bystander who watches others who’ve dared to experiment.
Philippians 3:13 (NLT) “No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,”. Kevin Robinson
May 4, 2013. You are good soil. But I can tell that you often do not think so. This attitude can be changed by spending more time with Me. You are fully worthy to sit at My table and partake of My delicacies. I am the head and you are the neck. Turn your eyes to look upon the poor and needy and your ears to hear. Ask me to “help them.” I take action when you pray that prayer. Start with the blade, the head and mature grain. Behold, harvest comes!
Mark 4:28 (NASB) “The soil produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head.” Ras Robinson
May 4, 2013. When you pray do not let sympathy in any way interfere with My plans and purposes. Wanting what My Spirit has for you and others is better than what you or they want. Sometimes it may not seem that way, but nevertheless it is. When you pray for yourself and when you pray for others the bottom line needs to be for My plans and purposes to be accomplished. It is good to be sympathetic, but not to the point of not praying for some things that need to change.
Ephesians 6:18 (NLT) “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere” Bev Robinson
May 4, 2013. Expect the unexpected. Wait with baited breath to see how I will come on the scene at any given moment. Don’t be surprised to see how I present Myself when you are in dire need or want. Consider when I walked on the water or perhaps when I made the lame man walk. Anticipate Me all the time. Reflect back on your life and see how I saved you, delivered you through trials or redeemed you from calamity. Place your complete weight upon Me and expect Me to be there.
Acts 2:2 (NASB) “And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.” Kevin Robinson
May 3, 2013. There is offence between at least two saints of God. No one will make the move to reconciliation. This results in more hard feelings. The bridge between you is about to be destroyed. Both of you are called of God. God has His hand on you. The Lord says today, “Do not bring more gifts (sacrifices) until this is settled. In this way your future blessings will not be hindered. I will restore the two of you and your families when I see you humble yourself. You can do this!”
Matthew 5:23-24 (NLT) “So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God.” Ras Robinson
May 3, 2013. A correction in course is needed. It involves more than one, but mainly one needs to change. It will be hard on the initiator to confront the one and especially hard the one who needs to change. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Believe for humility and that this will be the last major need for confrontation. This is not easy but it must be done. The enemy has been at work to bring much accusation and fear. I know this is hard but success will come.
Proverbs 13:17-18 (NLT) “An unreliable messenger stumbles into trouble, but a reliable messenger brings healing. If you ignore criticism, you will end in poverty and disgrace; if you accept correction, you will be honored.” Bev Robinson
May 3, 2013. Setbacks and interruptions are just part of your walk with Me. Allow obstacles and difficulties to be an opportunity for you to grow and be refined to a finer reflection of Me. Recognize that they are temporary. Let each one of them be a stepping stone and building block which brings you closer and closer to Me. Expect a divine breakthrough of epic proportions. See each one as an opening to brighter possibilities in and through Me. Instead of resisting the disturbances, embrace them wholeheartedly with a mindset of immense growth.
1 Peter 5:10 (ERV) “Yes, you will suffer for a short time. But after that, God will make everything right. He will make you strong. He will support you and keep you from falling. He is the God who gives all grace. He chose you to share in his glory in Christ. That glory will continue forever.” Kevin Robinson
May 2, 2013. There are trials ahead. Has this not always been the case? Don’t grumble and complain because the waves are stirred up. Refuse to despair over missteps in friendships. Keep a cool and peaceful head on your shoulders. Your Father knows the beginning and the end. He is not worried. Why should you be? Instead, rejoice greatly at the honor and privilege you have in and with your trials. Drop to your knees. Seek God in the way He best hears and responds to you. He will not let you down.
James 1:2-3 (NLT) “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.” Ras Robinson
May 2, 2013. Keep your attitude the same as it has been. Be as pleased with your self- control as I am. The last of the fruit of the Spirit is self-control. It is last in the list because of its important position… it involves all the others. It is the one that controls all the other fruit. Continue letting My Spirit control your spirit. I know you get off target on occasions, but you get right back in the flow of My Spirit. My will in control of your will is the most important.
Galatians 5:22-25 (NKJV) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Bev Robinson
May 2, 2013. Let nothing dissuade your pursuit of Me. Quite often it is easy to be persuaded into something other than a centralized focus upon Me. There are many distractions coming against you from every imaginable angle. Satan places obstacles in your pathway in an attempt to unseat Me for the highest position in your life. Let nothing or no one have so much power in your life, as to knock you off course of the highest prize attainable. Search for Me. Let your primary quest be for Me and Me alone.
Matthew 5:6 (NASB) “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” Kevin Robinson
May 1, 2013. You have unexpected expectancy. You know something is up but have no clue what it is. Your expectancy has developed into excitement. Do not worry about timing. The Father is in charge of what happens and when. The beginning and end are in his mind and hands at all times. Jesus gave gifts but the Father makes appointments. He is setting in place and commissioning those He has chosen for this season. These will be front and center in the end-times. Would you volunteer and surrender to His perfect will?
Acts 1:7-8 (NASB) “He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Ras Robinson
May 1, 2013. There is something you want… want it badly. You believe it is in keeping with a word you received from Me. But you see both sides… reasons why what you want would be good and also reasons another choice would be good. In reality you don’t know what is best. Now the main thing for you is to want what I want. This is what you need to pray. Keep praying and keep your mind on Me working this out. Precious, you can trust Me. I always want the best for all.
James 4:15-16 (ESV) “Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.” Bev Robinson
May 1, 2013. Let gentleness be an earmark of how you move about each day. You live in a world that is becoming calloused and hardened more and more rapidly than you could imagine. When the world looks at you, do they see a rough and toughened individual or do they sense the presence of a tender-hearted and gentle soul? Check your heart and your motives of how you live and move. Grace upon grace has been extended to you time and time again. Embody Me with a compassionate heart of gentleness toward others.
1 Corinthians 4:21 (NKJV) “What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?” Kevin Robinson
