What the Lord is Saying Today – March 2013
March 30, 2013. Our hope is fixed on nothing less than God’s love, sacrifice and righteousness. He freely offers this and thus establishes an incredible and imperishable hope to all who believe. At times, your faith may be tested. But hope never fades. Hope is the anchor of your soul. Tomorrow is Resurrection Sunday around the world. Without an assurance by faith of this miracle of Jesus conquering death, we could not comprehend God’s endless love. Jesus is God’s living sacrifice, brought back to live forever in our hearts. He is our hope.
Hebrews 6:18-19 (NASB) “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil…” Ras Robinson
March 30, 2013. Lately you’ve felt you have lost some purpose in living. That’s not so, even though you are feeling that way. I always have purpose for you. My purposes have been established since before you were born. You are not remembering to ask Me for wisdom. Seeking wisdom from Me will always give you purpose and abundant blessings. Ask Me whose lives you need to be involved in and what projects I have for you to accomplish. When you keep Me and those aspirations in mind you will never lose purpose.
Psalms 139:16-17 (MSG) “Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day. Your thoughts-how rare, how beautiful! God, I’ll never comprehend them!” Bev Robinson
March 29, 2013. You may feel down and out. Discouragement knocks on your door, but your strength is not your own. It is the Lord who gives it to you. He continually surrounds you as the mountains surround Jerusalem. He never sleeps. Rather, He sings over you while you sleep and refreshes you each morning. He has given health and vigor as priceless blessings. Your anointing is a grace gift from Me. He never removes it. It is the Lord who stirs up the coals in your belly and starts the fires of compassion.
Psalm 28:8 (NASB) “The LORD is their strength, and He is a saving defense to His anointed.” Ras Robinson
March 29, 2013. There are relationships you have been concerned about even worrying to the point of losing sleep. You know worrying is not good for you and it doesn’t solve the problems in any way. Get all of these worrisome thoughts out of you. Record them so that not one of the little sneaks will be left to bother you. Now turn these worries into prayers, thanking Me for handling them all. Everything I do is to accomplish My purposes and bring about good for everyone. Precious one, trust Me.
Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG) “Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.” Bev Robinson
March 28, 2013. Your people, those with whom you share life and know personally, will never lack strength. You are an overcomer with no destiny of being overcome. Overcoming is Christ’s gift to you because He is in you as the Overcomer for you. Nations will come to you for help. The Lord is your refuge (protection and shelter) in bad and good times. It is here that you run to and find comfort and solace. Impart and share your life and strength. For it is through your giving that you will receive.
Psalm 28:8 (MSG) “GOD is all strength for his people, ample refuge for his chosen leader.” Ras Robinson
March 28, 2013. Give and do what I lead you to do with the poor and watch your blessings multiply. You will be astounded.
Psalms 41:1-3(NLT) “Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The Lord rescues them when they are in trouble. The Lord protects them and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies. The Lord nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health.” Bev Robinson
March 27, 2013. The devil is a barbarian, a fear merchant, seeking someone to destroy. If he can entice you to fear him, then he has access to your heart for purposes of lying and stealing. Those who operate according to a barbarian mindset will do anything to cause you to fear them. Once you defeat fear, you have taken a bold step into a freedom you may have never known. Turn your face toward the Lord who made you and knows all about you. Fighting off the devil and resisting the devil is God’s sphere of power.
Psalm 27:1 (NASB) “The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life; whom shall I dread?” Ras Robinson
March 27, 2013. Resist temptation, die to the flesh and walk in the Spirit. Keep your head up, looking to the mountains. This is where your help comes from. Trust in Me and I will give you strength far beyond the natural and do for you what you cannot do for yourself. It is then you will experience a river of blessings. Blessings will pour down from the mountains overtaking you, giving you peace in your soul and a song of joy in your heart.
Psalms 125:2 (AMP) “As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about His people from this time forth and forever.” Bev Robinson
March 26, 2013. A patchwork quilt is being put together for the glory of God. Satan will fight against this quilt but he will not prevail in the end if all remain alert and strong. The completion of the quilt will provide warm comfort and strength needed in the coming days. Surviving all and thriving in success, it will redound to His magnificence. The first four have come together. The presence of God were both evident and abundant. God will eventually add more until all twelve are on board. He has not forgotten us.
1 Samuel 18:1 (NASB) “Now it came about when he had finished speaking to Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as himself. Ras Robinson
March 26, 2013. Yes, I know you caused a problem, a big problem. You were not thinking at all about what was right or what was best for yourself or another. You went too far thinking about what would please you. You sowed too many times to the wind and reaped the whirlwind. Reaping and sowing helps you remember and learn not to go that way again. The most important thing is that you humbled yourself and repented. I bailed you out of the pit you got yourself in and set you on higher ground. Precious, now walk about freely and remember to make your choices in line with My ways and word.
Galatians 6:8-9 (NLT) “Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up” Bev Robinson
March 25, 2013. You received a new heart and a new spirit. Moreover, I put my Spirit in you, enabling you to do what I command. You are not who you once were. All things have changed. I have given you a fresh start with no history for you since the exchange of hearts took place and you received the Spirit. There is nothing from your past to hold you back. Your future is as bright as the noon day sun. I have plans to bless you and not to hinder you in any way.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 (MSG) “I’ll give you a new heart, put a new spirit in you. I’ll remove the stone heart from your body and replace it with a heart that’s God-willed, not self-willed.” Ras Robinson
March 25, 2013. You are looking for a way out. What you need to be looking for is a way in. Don’t get your mind set too quickly or you will be going down the road and realize this is not the way for me and mine. You are making judgments and assessments that don’t need to be set in concrete right now. Things are not as they appear. Don’t be more concerned about what you think and what others think than what I think. Precious one, I am preparing a course of action which is bringing you further into your destiny. Precious, listen closely, stay focused and don’t get off course.
Luke 8:8 (NASB) “Other seed fell into the good soil, and grew up, and produced a crop a hundred times as great.” As He said these things, He would call out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Bev Robinson
March 23, 2013. You are not stubborn like your forefathers. They put up a strong resistance to most of My instructions. Their hearts were not turned towards Me. The prophets I sent to them were refused, along with the messages and instructions I sent through them. Today, the devil would have you believe at times that you are just like your forefathers in this regard. This is not true and you should not believe the devil when he accuses you as having the stubbornness of your forefathers. Remember who you are in Christ now. Take your stand and remind the devil you belong to Jesus now and that you are covered in His righteousness. Refuse his accusations. Stand strong in Christ. You are mighty through Him.
Zechariah 7:11-12 (NLT) “Your ancestors refused to listen to this message. They stubbornly turned away and put their fingers in their ears to keep from hearing. They made their hearts as hard as stone, so they could not hear the instructions or the messages that the LORD of Heaven’s Armies had sent them by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. That is why the LORD of Heaven’s Armies was so angry with them.” Ras Robinson
March 23, 2013. An unexpected encounter is coming. Don’t let it throw you. At first it will seem like rejection and from the standpoint of another it is… in a way. But from My standpoint and way it isn’t. No double talk here, but the fact is My plan will give you a greater blessing. Don’ t spend any time and energy that this is My rejection. You will quickly see this is My plan. Others need to walk in grace and not in law. This is all about getting you started down the right path. Now that this has been accomplished, I will show the way and want you to continue My way.
Isaiah 30:20-21 (AMP) “And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide Himself any more, but your eyes will constantly behold your Teacher. And your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way; walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left.” Bev Robinson
March 22, 2013. One person was passively resisting your leadership. This was no problem until another joined in the resistance. This strategy was born of the devil in a spirit of fear and timidity. Through this, the enemy of your soul is seeking to back you off what you received as instructions from Me. A lot is at stake here. Here is the answer. Let devotion and brotherly love guide you in how you now respond. These persons do not see themselves as resisting. Honor them, but be diligent and fervent in spirit as you serve the Lord. You are not timid so don’t act like it. I have given you all the authority and power you will ever need.
Romans 12:10-11 (NASB) “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.”
2 Timothy 1:7 (NASB) “For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.” Ras Robinson
March 22, 2013. There is a war going on. This is nothing new; it has been going on for ages and eons. It started with Lucifer. The reason you can see it in others is because it is on you. You recoil? Do you have the courage to examine yourself? This revelation comes from Me with absolutely no condemnation. I say this to help you rid yourself of rebellion and defiance. These are powerful strongmen that have caused problems among many for eons. Bind and cast these powerful evil spirits from you. Now listen and obey from this point on. You will see transformation in yourself, then you will be able to pray and help free others.
Matthew 12:28-29 (NASB) “But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you. Or how can anyone enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.” Bev Robinson
March 21, 2013. The Lord wants you healthy and strong in body, soul and spirit. This is His standard for your life. It is the bar set to show your progress in Him. Jesus, God’s only Son is in you as your source for everything you do. He keeps you in step and in connection with the rest of God’s family, the church. He provides your breath. He provides every drop of blood in your veins. The breath and blood of Jesus is the secret of your power to be strong. I say unto you today, “Be strong and very courageous for I am about to give victory over the giants in your land. This is your reward for being healthy and strong.”
Ephesians 4:15-16 (MSG) “God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love-like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love.” Ras Robinson
March 21, 2013. There is more than one area which concerns you in decisions that have not yet been made. It isn’t time yet for these decisions to be finalized. Do not project yourself too often into the future because you can get quickly into the “what ifs.” There are plenty of things that you need to be doing now that will keep your time occupied. If your mind goes too often into the future you won’t apply it effectively to the present work at hand. Think enough so that you will be prepared but not enough that worry will have a chance to come in your door. Worry stands always ready to come.
Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Bev Robinson
March 20, 2013. The Lord says, “It is I who has made you righteous.” You never need to offer proof of your righteousness because your heart and soul are full of it. You wear it like a winter coat on a cold and windy day. This is so that when the dark clouds of accusation come rolling in on you, you can honestly say, “I am a person of integrity because I bear within the essence of my Father wherever I go.” The amazing fruit of such righteousness is that your children will follow in your steps. This alone is motivation enough to bring your integrity into all situations you face. Daily walk it out.
Proverbs 20:7 (NASB) “A righteous man who walks in his integrity – how blessed are his sons after him.” Ras Robinson
March 20, 2013. Too much thought is being given to what others think. Right now you are following the line of thinking of what someone will think if you do a certain thing. That line of thinking came on the heels of what you thought another person close to you might think about this particular thing… and then another person… and then another. Get out of that quandary. Quit worrying about what others think. The enemy wants to keep you doing this and as long as you will let him he will. Close that door right now. Precious, when you get your mind on doing only what I think, the rest will fall into place.
1 Peter 5:6-8 (NASB) “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” Bev Robinson
March 19, 2013. Our house guests last weekend included within the group several college age young people and their pastors. They stimulated and encouraged us with their zeal and enthusiasm for all God has to offer. The church as we know it today must make room for this fresh crop of Jesus enthusiasts. We cannot remember having any sweeter fellowship in our home with guests. Sure, they are precious new creations and fledglings, but their hearts are set to find the more precious things of God. We tried not to squelch their idealism and fervor, but rather to encourage them to find truth and balance. In the days of Moses there were youth who pushed at the borders of things to the point that even Joshua wanted to stop them. Let us follow Moses’ example. He enjoyed and encouraged them.
Numbers 11:27-29 (MSG) “A young man ran and told Moses, ‘Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp!’ Joshua son of Nun, who had been Moses’ right-hand man since his youth said, ‘Moses, master! Stop them!’ But Moses said, “Are you jealous for me? Would that all GOD’s people were prophets. Would that GOD would put his Spirit on all of them.'” Ras Robinson
March 19, 2013. Listen to what I am saying; it’s not in words. It is by way of thoughts and impressions that come to your mind and spirit. Your spirit is communicating with My Spirit in a heightened measure because I am readying you to hear something important. It will come through something that has been rejected and thought not important. It will come through something you aren’t usually drawn to. Don’t reject it because others have. They are rejecting this for a reason. It is just that they are not quickened to follow in that way. But don’t follow their lead because it isn’t about them. I will be speaking straight to you.
John 21:22 (NASB) “Jesus *said to him, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me!” Bev Robinson
March 18, 2013. Has the devil been prowling around your house and family? We watched the movie “Life of Pi” last night. It almost perfectly portrays how the prowling lion (actually, in the movie, a Bengal tiger) sought almost throughout the movie to devour the young sixteen year old boy. The tiger was unrelenting in his consuming drive to eat the boy. It showed the tiger to be beautiful, powerful, smart and unflagging in zeal to devour. You can be sure the devil is circling you and your whole family to see which one or ones he can pick off next. He will never stop until you decide to stop him even paying the ultimate price of giving your life to save yourself and your family. (Order my teaching from March 17, “Setting Captives Free.”)
1 Peter 5:7-8 (NASB) “Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” Ras Robinson
March 18, 2013. I don’t now nor will I ever condemn you. I love you and always am looking out to give you good. Haven’t I given you more now than you ever imagined you would have? If you want to see real poverty and real despair look to other nations who do not call Me God. You are My child. I have taken you to raise. Therefore, precious one, I am pointing out some things where you are missing the mark of My high calling. Examine yourself and agree with Me these are sins. This is the wise thing to do. Let Me cleanse you of these. Now go back into blessings.
1 John 1:9-10 (NASB) “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Bev Robinson
March 16, 2013. Make an announcement to pardon the prisoners imprisoned and that I have chosen to show mercy. Think of how many have been kept in bondage because of your words or lack of words from misunderstandings. Clarity in communications is ultimately important. In the past and because of your own wounds, you have spoken curses leading to their bondage. You cannot undo the damage, but you can announce My merciful pardon. You have seen the result of pardons in the faces of prisoners when they are set free. Kings and others in top authority positions are given the official authority to pardon prisoners just through announcing it. Think of it. Would you like to announce some pardons? Do it.
Luke 4:18-19 (MSG) “God’s Spirit is on me; he’s chosen me to preach the Message of good news to the poor, sent me to announce pardon to prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to set the burdened and battered free, to announce, “This is God’s year to act!” Ras Robinson
March 16, 2013. You will soon stand at the bottom of mountains of revelation. You will hear things you have not heard before. You are one who discerns carefully, but don’t do it so carefully that you miss the salient points. Hear all of the words that are coming and then come to the decision of what is wheat and what is chaff. Don’t decide too quickly or you are going to discount or miss some important things I am saying and showing. You don’t have to climb the mountains, just begin looking upward to the mountains. I am there revealing truth. Some will see it and some will not see it.
Psalms 121:1-3 (NASB) “I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber.” Bev Robinson
March 15, 2013. You are precious to me. Think about this. You are not who you once were. Now, in Christ, you are living a new life while in your same body. I have given you the ability to look on heavenly realities where I sit. Therefore, you are invited to “Come sit with Me beside our Father at His right hand.” There could be no greater honor! So here is My question to you. “Why waste your time and energy thinking about earthly things when you and I can see and speak with one another about heavenly things?” Your life as you have known it is dead. I have raised you up into a new life and hidden you with Me in God. So, stop worrying and striving. Raise your sights.
Colossians 3:2-3 (NLT) “Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.” Ras Robinson
March 15, 2013. If you will follow Me I will get you through the maze. When I call, you come. When I say stop, you stop. When I start again, start with Me. When I take a step, you take a step. We will move through this maze. When you get out, you will look back and be amazed at the maze you came through. Then you will turn back around, see Me and we will smile together. It is intense now because you are in the thick of the maze. The directions I just gave you work now, but also with every other maze that will come. Keep your eyes on Me. All is well.
Hebrews 12:2-3 (KJV) “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” Bev Robinson
March 14, 2013. You have been shaken once more. You thought it was all over. It was not. You were forewarned by Me, but you would not listen. Blaming things on others is an empty hole that leads to oblivion. It is difficult to face squarely a word from the Lord promising to shake you again. You have a way of not facing reality when it comes to the strong word of the Lord warning of coming correction and discipline. Turning away in unbelief releases the pressure momentarily. But eventually, the shaking will come. But you say, “Lord, you have already shaken me.” But the Lord says, “If you had listened earlier, this second shaking would not have been necessary. You have been left with only that which can no longer be shaken. This is actually good news for you.
Hebrews 12:26-27 (NASB) “And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN.” This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Ras Robinson
March 14, 2013. I have an abundant supply of wisdom. It will never run out. There is always more than enough to supply all of everyone’s needs. Talking it over with yourself and coming to a conclusion of what to do is like praying to yourself. “Self, what is the best recourse of action in this situation?” Self will answer according to your own interests. I want everyone to be of the same mind and purpose, yours included. That is the reason you ask Me for wisdom. Wait for My answer. Don’t get ahead of Me and don’t walk out on your own plank, you may just have to jump off into murky water.
Job 12:13 (AMP) “But [only] with [God] are [perfect] wisdom and might; He [alone] has [true] counsel and understanding.” Bev Robinson
March 13, 2013. “What is best to do?” You find yourself facing issues that require an answer. In the past, you have followed your feelings for the answer. At other times, you asked a parent, trusted friend, counselor, et al. But now you have discovered the peace that passes all understanding in which you find answers. Simply breathe out the fleshly feelings and breathe in the presence of His peace. Ask “What is it that You want, Lord? What is Your will? I open myself to You that You may speak the words I shall obey. My will is to eat each morsel of Your word. It is sustenance for my hungry soul.”
Matthew 5:9 (MSG) “You’re blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That’s when you discover who you really are, and your place in God’s family.” Ras Robinson
March 13, 2013. As a teenager I worked in a hospital. Once a woman in a room across from the nurse’s station became so angry at her husband she could be heard screaming in the hallways. The next day when I came to work I learned overnight she died. “Sometimes you’re so hurt or angry you want someone to die, maybe even yourself. There is a way… My way. Let the one who hurt you badly know. Then express your emotions to Me. Then die. Not a physical death but die to sin’s power” I’m the one who can fix someone else. You can’t even fix yourself without Me. How can you fix another?
Romans 6:11-13 (NLT) “So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.” Bev Robinson
March 12, 2013. Anchor yourself in the Lord and you cannot drift away. Your salvation is sure because of God’s promise and oath freely made on your behalf. These are the anchors of your soul, your eternal hope. This gives a confidence that cannot be shaken regardless of sickness, tragedy, disappointments, pestilence or death. Your hope is steadfast because God never breaks a promise. You can count on that! With these promises in place, you may go beyond the veil into His inner sanctuary every day of your life forever. You are covered by His eternal covenant with you. Your enemies are His enemies. Your warfare is His warfare. He always wins and so will you. Stay anchored always because of his promise and oath. He has done it all for you.
Hebrews 6:18-19 (NLT) “So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.” Ras Robinson
March 12, 2013. It appears many places you turn there are problems and now with many of those with whom you relate there are problems. Hasn’t it been like this much of your life? Bring to your mind the times I was faithful when you didn’t know I was there. Now you know I’m there and love and understand you. There will never be another who loves you as much as I do. Have I ever overreacted or under-reacted to you? You know I haven’t. I have shown you time and time again. This is the reason you love Me more than you love anyone else. Bless everyone. Let Me handle all of this again.
1 Corinthians 1:9 (AMP) “God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” Bev Robinson
March 11, 2013. I prayed for you this morning! In my quiet time I was impressed to look over the list of our subscribers. I saw your name there. My fourth lesson in a ministry training class was on love and understanding. To both love and understand someone is not always easy. For over 55 years I have loved my wife Bev. Over these years, she has told me many times, “I don’t think you understand me.” It was always disappointing to hear, but I knew it was and is still true. Do I quit trying? No . I dig in and seek new insights into this incredible bride of mine. I always find some new sliver of truth about her that lets me understand her more. Today, I look for more redemptive and healing ways I can show my love and understanding to her and you. I do love you.
Proverbs 19:8 (NASB) “He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good.” Ras Robinson
March 11, 2013. There is something you want. You want it badly. You think if you don’t get this, it will be hard to go on. This is something big, with many challenges. But you think if you can get this you will be able to work out the problems as you go. You believe you will be successful. Do you want it now even if it is not best for you? There are some things, many things you need to learn before it is yours. If you don’t learn, it will not be yours to have. Die to the things you are thinking. Get in on My plan, My will and My timing.
Psalms 101:5-6 (AMP) “Whoso privily slanders his neighbor, him will I cut off [from me]; he who has a haughty look and a proud and arrogant heart I cannot and I will not tolerate. My eyes shall [look with favor] upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks blamelessly, he shall minister to me.” Bev Robinson
March 9, 2013. I see a train pulling off the main track to what is called a side track. Many times this happens so another train can pass by the one being assigned to the side track . You may be about to be put on a side track. It is not a matter of correction or even discipline. Rather, it is for the greater good for all involved. The Lord says, “Yes, I pulled you off the main line for a brief season. Remember that others have been temporarily pulled off line before. Take advantage of this time of waiting. Do some house cleaning of your heart and soul. Obedience is better than sacrifice.”
Hebrews 5:8 (NASB) “Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered.” Ras Robinson
March 9, 2013. There is an undercurrent of dislike, mistrust and rejection. Most of the time it lays low, but nevertheless it is there. This undercurrent has taken others in and therefore has caused a web that is not seen but always lurking. It rears its head from time to time, to make innuendos and then goes back underground. Most of the time you know it is coming, but there seems nothing you can do about it. This grieves you without end. There is something you can do about it, precious one. The weapons of your warfare are mighty before Me. Get the one you know who feels the same, pray together, then watch.
2 Corinthians 10:3-4 (AMP) “For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds,” Bev Robinson
March 8, 2013. Wheat harvest season is coming soon. The anticipation of a rewarding crop is very high with wheat farmers. Easter comes early this year and the other important holy days follow with a crescendo of Pentecost on May 15. Pentecost was like a grand harvest festival of thanksgiving. On that first Pentecost after the resurrection of Jesus, the Holy Spirit came and rested upon all those on the roof top in their prayer meeting. Some believe that on that very day the church was born as a first fruits expression from heaven. They came to be known as Christians. Pray about giving this year with a cheerful heart a first fruits offering from your own harvest. God loves a cheerful giver. He loves you!
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (MSG) “Remember: A stingy planter gets a stingy crop; a lavish planter gets a lavish crop. I want each of you to take plenty of time to think it over, and make up your own mind what you will give. That will protect you against sob stories and arm-twisting. God loves it when the giver delights in the giving. God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done.” Ras Robinson
March 8, 2012. I don’t need sacrifice. I am the one who sacrificed for your salvation, healings, deliverance and blessings. What I need is your obedience. I want you to have success and blessings. Much success and many blessings come to you as you follow Me in your obedience. I always extend to you grace, but obedience brings many bountiful blessings. I say in My word that I will handle your enemies if you let me. Not just people, you don’t have many people enemies. But some other enemies are depression, gluttony, anger, fear, poverty, blame, misuse of time, etc. Obey Me and see these things dissipate one by one, some quickly … some slowly.
Proverbs 16:6-7 (AMP) “By mercy and love, truth and fidelity [to God and man-not by sacrificial offerings], iniquity is purged out of the heart, and by the reverent, worshipful fear of the Lord men depart from and avoid evil. When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Bev Robinson
March 7, 2013. It is time to take action. You have been putting it off long enough. Plow up the hard ground of your heart. You have received the good seeds of righteousness planted long ago. A harvest of love is coming your way. Wait patiently for it while you take action to make your heart right. You have allowed areas of your heart to become hardened towards Me and My living word within you. A good spring shower of righteousness is all you need. But you must seek after it like a hound dog after a raccoon. Do not stop until you get the good that is stored up for you. It is yours. Go for it.
Hosea 10:12 (NLT) “I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.'” Ras Robinson
March 7, 2013. Watch your attitude. I know all is not well now but you don’t need to compound the problem by being rude. Because you are down you’re neglecting to read the Scriptures. A helpful action in immersing yourself in the Psalms is discovering the treasures the Psalmist found in laying everything out before Me. Telling all that is happening to someone you trust is good, but it doesn’t compare to telling Me the depths of what you are feeling. I already know it all but openness causes love to flourish between us. I am the one who can comfort. I am also the one who can do something about what you’re experiencing.
Isaiah 30:18 (AMP) “And therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship]!” Bev Robinson
March 6, 2013. In some temperate zones, the cold of winter is past. The chill of spring delights the heart and gives hints of better things to come. Spring’s cool breezes morph into high wind warnings sprinkled among the heavenly days and nights. It is hard to imagine the intensity of what awaits in summer. But it will come; it is as certain as the dawn. The Lord says, “It is good that you study the seasons to know them well. The knowledge you gain will give wisdom and understanding. Over time, you will have learned endurance, patience and keen insight. These are rewards for your diligence of pursuit. The grand prize sometimes seems beyond your reach. But you keep running the race. In fact, you slip into a higher gear knowing the end is near.”
Genesis 1:14 (NLT) “Then God said, “Let great lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them mark off the seasons, days, and years.” Ras Robinson
March 6, 2013. Someone needs to correct a course of action and it is your job to do it. You don’t like to do this and feel you don’t do it well. Start with thinking how much better things would be if the one needing correction were doing their assignment correctly. This is the place to start. Think of when you have been corrected. While at first it was uncomfortable, in the long run things ran so much better. All need correction from time to time. Now enumerate the things you need to correct in another. Ask Me for wisdom. Record what comes to your mind. Now speak carefully and watch what happens.
Job 5:17-18 (NASB) “Behold, how happy is the man whom God reproves, So do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. “For He inflicts pain, and gives relief; He wounds, and His hands also heal.” Bev Robinson
March 5, 2013. You are blessed so that you may pass along the blessings of God to others who believe and who will yet believe. Your faith has made you whole. You are the redeemed of the Lord, sent to multiply and extend My blessings. It is now common in your life that you consistently are blessing others wherever you go. You are My ambassador of love and extender of blessings to Jews and Gentiles alike. The Lord says, “I am no respecter of persons. My love covers multitudes of sins. Bless the nations, even those who hate you. Bless those who are so different than you. Bless those of different color and those of different languages and cultures. It is My will that you do this and thus help fulfill My promises.”
Galatians 3:8-9 (NASB) “The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, ‘ALL THE NATIONS WILL BE BLESSED IN YOU.’ So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer.” Ras Robinson
March 5, 2012. You overheard a statement. It surprised you. Your thinking had been along another line of something happening. Don’t make a big deal about this to the one who spontaneously spoke. Ponder these words in your heart, and don’t allow this to trouble your spirit. Talk to Me about this. Lay every fearful, angry, disappointing thought that comes to mind out on the table before Me, and talk to no one else. There are some things I want to teach you about what was said. There are some changes that need to be made for someone to see the real truth. Right now actions are not demonstrating what needs to be seen.
Psalms 23:5-6 (NKJV) “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” Bev Robinson
March 4, 2013. I, the Lord, am protecting you on every side. Even while you sleep, I protect and sing over you. My cup is full of thanksgiving for the joy you bring Me. You have found My favor and have drunk of it deeply. It gives me great pleasure to say yes to your requests. Do not hold back from asking the greatest things you need. Sometimes you do not ask because you are not feeling good about yourself. May I remind you? Only Jesus was perfect. Confess your sins, seek forgiveness and then receive it when I grant that forgiveness. I see you as holy and clean. Therefore, come before My throne of grace in boldness and confidence.
Psalm 3:3-4 (NASB) “But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. I was crying to the LORD with my voice, And He answered me from His holy mountain.” Ras Robinson
March 4, 2013. I see where you are. I haven’t forgotten you, even though it feels like I have. I know all about what is going on. I see your heart getting discouraged. You aren’t like that often, but you are now on the verge of being despondent. Keep cool headed. You know better than to have self-pity. That indeed heads you down into a pit. Don’t lose your hope. A breakthrough is on its way. From my perspective I can see your horizon better than you. Continue binding the bad and loosing the good. Remember this is a key to living an overcoming life in My kingdom… the kingdom within the kingdoms of earth.
Matthew 16:19 (NASB) “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” Bev Robinson
March 2, 2013. People expect good things when they are drawn to you. The Lord has given you a gathering gift for those He wants to love more. They expect something positive and up-lifting when they see you coming. You are constantly being observed by people who are curious about the Christian life. They may not say it in so many words, but they sense something special about you. Over the years, you have learned that these observers are being drawn by the anointing I have placed upon you. You did well to receive the Holy Spirit and to be baptized in Him. Seize every opportunity to tell them of the Christ in you. Lead them carefully to salvation so they become disciples of Jesus.
Psalm 1:1-3 (NLT) “Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.” Ras Robinson
March 2, 2013. Something is in the making that you see could be an absolute disaster. You are wondering what to do. You think prayer is the least you can do. I am telling you prayer is the most you can do. Do not say anything about what you are discerning. Keep your thoughts to yourself, only sharing with Me what you see. No one else outside the situation can do anything about this. Trust Me and tell Me all your fears. Pray only for My will. Bind all the scheme of the enemy. There are schemes you haven’t thought about. Now believe Me for the best. I’ll handle this and all will be good.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Bev Robinson
March 1, 2013. Practicing for the big race has been intense and quite a challenge. You have participated fully and that is good. Over time, the practices have been more challenging. Now they are becoming quite rewarding. Many quit at this stage. But not you. It is within you not to fail. In fact, you hate failure. Others can endure it because they are not willing to pay the price to win. The Lord says unto you today, “Run, run, run. Run until it hurts so bad you cannot bear the pain. Then run some more. Every step you take is bringing you closer to the ultimate prize of winning. Keep the attitude and strong hope that the crown will be yours. I am with you all the way. Pick up the cross, run with it.”
1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (NLT) “Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.” Ras Robinson
March 1, 2013. A speeding bullet came at you but it flew right past. At the time it came so fast you didn’t see it as a bullet. Your mind was enamored and saw it as an angel. You thought this will help me greatly. You wanted the angel badly but it whizzed by. Outwardly you see people relieved at how you are handling this, but inwardly you still have some hurt. You aren’t completely convinced it was a bullet. At the time you thought that was what you wanted. You see dimly now, but in time you will see clearly. What I want for you is much better. Precious one, wait on Me.
Lamentations 3:25 (AMP) “The Lord is good to those who wait hopefully and expectantly for Him, to those who seek Him [inquire of and for Him and require Him by right of necessity and on the authority of God’s word].” Bev Robinson
