What the Lord is Saying Today – July 2013
July 31, 2013. Trials and tribulations have not passed you by. Some have been almost unbearable, have they not? And yet some have come and gone without as much as a tussle. Over time, you have learned to roll with the punches and thereby endure the momentary light afflictions. While this has been happening, I have been growing and shaping you into a mighty warrior. Now you are charged to pass it along to your generation and the next generations. Therefore, you are carrying like a virus the strength that overcomes. Infect and transmit it with passion.
2 Timothy 3:1 (KJV) “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” Ras Robinson
July 31, 2013. An idea has come to mind. It’s a good idea, not a bad idea. You are not sure it is My idea. You know something needs help, but you don’t know if this is the way to give the help. Don’t spend inordinate amounts of time in developing this, but make some preliminary plans. Don’t pursue it heavily, but give it some pursuit. The idea is good and in the right direction. I will shape and form it as you go. I am very pleased you are not procrastinating.
Romans 12:2 (NASB) “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Bev Robinson
July 31, 2013. You have begun to feel as though you are boxed in. This did not happen overnight and there is no need to overreact. It is wonderful that you are able to recognize your surroundings without openly reacting. Ask Me for more revelation on how you are to handle any awkward situation which may arise. Claim My perfect peace and know I too had instances where I became entangled. Seek Me for an out or for opportunities to get away. Fully utilize My wisdom and move forward.
Luke 4:30 (NIV) “But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way.” Kevin Robinson
July 30, 2013. God sees that thankful person just inside the veil of your consciousness peeping out with a smile. He loves it when you are caught off guard and show your real feelings. You have traced off in your mind what you can believe Me for over the rest of your life. One thing stands out above the rest. It is big enough that most of the time you don’t share about it with others. But you know in your heart that big things need not be impossible unless you do them without Me.
Psalm 30:11-12 (NASB) “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness, that my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever. Ras Robinson
July 30, 2013. Be sure your thinking about a matter lines up with how I perceive it. If you don’t, you could get way off course. Don’t jump to conclusions or even take up someone else’s offense. If you don’t know how I perceive the situation, ask Me for wisdom. I give it liberally and I never reprimand you for asking. I want you to ask. I want you to have wisdom. Gain wisdom for this situation and it helps you with other situations. Your asking demonstrates your belief that I can help you and others.
James 1:5-6 (NLT) “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.” Bev Robinson
July 30, 2013. The Ark of the Covenant was stolen and David was determined to reclaim what rightfully belonged to him and his people. It’s easy for you to remember things which were stolen from you, correct? Think about possessions you once had which were taken from you. Initially, frustration and anger rose up within you because of the theft. Satan is at the core of the loss. Become proactive and reclaim what is yours.
Obadiah 1:17 (NLT) “But Jerusalem will become a refuge for those who escape; it will be a holy place. And the people of Israel will come back to reclaim their inheritance.” Kevin Robinson
July 29, 2013. The American government is recording information about its citizens one line at a time, here a little, there a little. Citizens are being treated as if they are enemies. Surveillance of their work, play and worship are being scrutinized. Private data about cars, houses and property are being recorded constantly. Isaiah’s prophecies guided and guarded God’s people (including you). When the Assyrians were defeating Israel so badly, the Lord told His prophet of His plan. He would bring confusion in the enemy’s camp. In confusion they would stumble, fall, trapped and captured. Let today’s prophets speak of God’s plans.
Isaiah 28:13 (NLT) “So the LORD will spell out his message for them again, one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there, so that they will stumble and fall. They will be injured, trapped, and captured.” Ras Robinson
July 29, 2013. The cycle has come full circle again. You started well. You were full of Me and My word and started in the right direction, but your thinking began to get off target. Then you began to disconnect. You began thinking on your own. You began doing the things that got you off track in the first place and now you are right back where you started. There is someone who knows you and loves you. My child start again, but this time make yourself accountable to someone wise who loves you.
Proverbs 18:1 (NASB) “He who separates himself seeks his own desire, He quarrels against all sound wisdom.” Bev Robinson
July 29, 2013. Take the necessary steps to bloom right where you are. Don’t be too busy getting caught up in daily hustle and bustle. For a healthy life, it is essential for you to invest in others but also in yourself. Assess and evaluate where you once were and consider where you truly desire to be. Foster faithfulness. Remove unnecessary hindrances and cultivate the ground beneath your feet. Trust Me with the seed I’ve planted within you. Let the water of My word grow you. You’re worthy of time spent on you.
Hosea 10:12 (ESV) “Sow for yourselves righteousness;reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.” Kevin Robinson
July 27, 2013. You were in Jesus’ mind when He spoke saying, “I will make you fishers of men.” He knows the location of all the fish. He also knows how and when and how to catch them. Once caught, the fish will be God’s provision to satisfy our hunger. The Lord says, “I am placing a compelling desire within you to set about fishing with Jesus as Lord over the fishing expedition. Many will be drawn to help. Even more will be pleased to come and share in your harvest of fish. Go fishing.”
John 21:10-11 (NASB) “Jesus said to them, ‘Bring some of the fish which you have now caught.’ Simon Peter went up and drew the net to land, full of large fish, a hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not torn.” Ras Robinson
July 27, 2013. There is something you are doing which you have not placed in high importance. You need to take this very seriously and give it high priority. No one could accuse you of pride in this matter because you have not thought of this or yourself with any importance. What you are doing is extremely important. You need to see this from My point of view. You need to take time, seeking Me at each juncture and realize the wisdom and power I will pour through you to help others.
Proverbs 4:8 (AMP) “Prize Wisdom highly and exalt her, and she will exalt and promote you; she will bring you to honor when you embrace her.” Bev Robinson
July 27, 2013. Unlimited possibilities is a lofty statement, but it is a true proclamation of who you are and the potential that is welled up inside you. You find it easy to see the promise someone else possesses. However you cannot see the wealth of opportunities that await you. Within you is a huge vault of positive effects which can affect untold people. Take the initial step and move where your heart is leading you. I’m waiting to unleash My power through you in an instant. Believe. Listen. Act.
Proverbs 4:23 (NASB) “Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.” Kevin Robinson
July 26, 2013. Do you have a sense of well-being? God loves you with an unfailing love. He even sings over you as you sleep. He has implanted within you the character and integrity of Jesus, giving you the mind of Christ. These are but a few reasons to keep your relationship with God intimate and current. This results in your confidence in Him born of mercy and grace. Therefore you can stand among the congregation in love and understanding of His mission through you. He soothes and comforts your soul. Selah.
Psalm 26:11-12 (AMP) “But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; redeem me and be merciful and gracious to me. My foot stands on an even place; in the congregations will I bless the Lord.” Ras Robinson
July 26, 2013. You’ve doubted at times I’m interested in things you do. You’ve thought I have more important things to do. I care for you and I want you to know in the depth of your being how much I love you. I also want you to know how much I care about even the smallest events in which you are involved. Do things that bring you pleasure and at the same time bring Me glory. Some things you think are not spiritual enough are often things I deem spiritual.
Romans 8:38-39 (MSG) “I’m absolutely convinced that nothing-nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable-absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.” Bev Robinson
July 26, 2013. What you see is a fire hydrant. What I see is a vessel. What you see is a strangely configured piece of steel with numerous sealed outlets. What I see is conduit which can direct seemingly endless water in multiple directions simultaneously. Consider yourself like the fire hydrant. Be easy to access. Be ready at moment’s notice to serve in a critical and essential role in time of dire need. Know that people pass by you daily and have understanding and respect for who you are.
2 Timothy 2:21 (MSG) “Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.” Kevin Robinson
July 25, 2013. Economic and spiritual revival is being reported in the nation of Peru. God allowed me to minister there for a few years. While there we saw thousands of Peruvians come to Christ in salvation. We rejoice that the embers have been ignited and that now many more blessings are coming upon this great nation. Thank God for the leaders who first took us there and allowed us to minister city to city. We love that nation and its people. Because we love them, we pray and intercede for more revival.
John 21:5-7 (NASB) “So Jesus *said to them, “Children, you do not have any fish, do you?” They answered Him, “No.” And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right-hand side of the boat and you will find a catch.” So they cast, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish.” Ras Robinson
July 25, 2013. The right thing to do is acknowledge the negative you observe. If you ignore it and pretend it isn’t there, it will attract other negatives. Ignore them and you will soon have a problem. If you continue in that vein there will be a mounting problem, one that you may never unravel. Nip this negativity in the bud quickly and thoroughly. Listen closely to Me. Commit ahead of time to do whatever I say. Then follow through at the time I say. You will see the negatives turn positive.
Numbers 14:37-38 (HCSB) “those men who spread the negative report about the land were struck down by the Lord. Only Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh remained alive of those men who went to scout out the land.” Bev Robinson
July 25, 2013. Wrap your mind around the fact that you are the epitome of Me. Embrace that knowledge and move about completely and wholeheartedly with My essence. You have received Me in the most complete encapsulated form possible through My Holy Spirit. You are My body. You have My mind. Your soul has been saved and your spirit is in the constant state of renewal. I move when My Father says move. Imitate Me in everything you say and do. You have all My features, abilities, qualifications and attributes at your command.
2 Corinthians 4:5-6 (NLT) “You see, we don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” as made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.” Kevin Robinson
July 24, 2013. The presence of King Jesus is about to enter . Wake up. Look up. There is glory descending all around you. Don’t miss it. Make your heart ready. Wash your garments and change your clothes. Something glorious and wonderful is about to descend. Gear up for your ascension. Be excited. Let the weight of His glory help to propel you to heavenly levels. Fully embrace and take in what is happening. I will change you in the twinkling of an eye. Your splendor will bless many who will see, hear and understand.
Psalm 24:9 (MSG) “Wake up, you sleepyhead city! Wake up, you sleepyhead people! King-Glory is ready to enter.” Ras Robinson
July 24, 2013. Something you will be a part of is on its way. It won’t appear significant but will take time and energy. As it unfolds you will be amazed at its importance. This event will eventually produce results that will seem too good to be true. It will also be a prototype of things to come. Carefully remember and record all that will be happening. Other things to come will not be exactly like this but the lessons learned will help in bringing about the other good things on the way.
Matthew 16:24-25 (NASB) “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” Bev Robinson
July 24, 2013. Christians all around you could use a whole lot more sayings of “atta boy” and “atta girl.” Jump on the bandwagons of others with enthusiasm and be their biggest fan. Remember how good and pleasant it felt or feels when you get words of praise, especially in public. Do the same for other brothers and sisters in Christ. Take on the role of being a thoughtful supporter emotionally, spiritually, verbally and perhaps financially. Believe only the best in others as I have done with you. Think and act positively towards those who are My own.
Hebrews 3:13 (NIV) “But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.” Kevin Robinson
July 23, 2013. My wife and I have a wise and righteous son, the only son born to us. He is called by God to write what he hears from God and writes it daily with his mother and me. He is known as a righteous man. The icing on the cake is the wisdom God gives him. From time to time, his mother and I weep when we pray for him. Many who have loved him deeply in the past have ended up hurting and abandoning him. He loves them still. He is our son.
Proverbs 23:24-25 (NASB) “The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice, And he who sires a wise son will be glad in him. Let your father and your mother be glad, And let her rejoice who gave birth to you.” Ras Robinson
July 23, 2013. Waiting on Me is sometimes a challenge, but you are waiting with no stress and this pleases Me. You will be pleased when the results come in. You will see that the results will have been worth the wait. Timing is one of the hardest things to get right, but continue to seek, listen to and follow Me and the timing will be right. I will back you up and you will always remember the reward I give. Keep doing this and success and pleasure will continue to follow you.
Joshua1:8 (NLT) “Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” Bev Robinson
July 23, 2013. Be wary of division within the camp. Splitting up and separation are unfortunate aspects of the walk many Christians have to endure. Unfortunately, few believers live their lives unscathed from the scars left behind after some sort of detachment or split-up. Satan is determined to throw chaos into your midst. Do whatever possible to remind yourself that your warfare is not against flesh and blood. Refuse to get caught up in grumbling of any sort. Let love thrive about you. At every junction check your emotions. Choose to love.
1 Thessalonians 3:12 (NASB) “and may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you;” Kevin Robinson
July 22, 2013. It is time for a new day with new things and circumstances. You have never been happy in redundancy. You are blessed with a notion for change and upward motion . You are not satisfied with the status quo. Therefore, I have kept you on the edge of the present while always leaning into the future. Your destiny is to be a pioneer in whatever you do, wherever you go. I can give you specific assignments which appeal to no one else. Your faithfulness in such quests has endeared you to Me.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NASB) “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” Ras Robinson
July 22, 2013. The things you have been dealing with have been faced and dealt with because of necessity. They had to be handled before a new beginning could come. You will see a difference, a big difference, a good difference. Don’t rethink and wonder if you did the right thing in spending so much time. Yes you did it right. Now let it alone and prepare to enjoy what is yet to come. I have blessings waiting for you. Precious one, you will think this is too good to be true.
1 Corinthians 2:10 (MSG) “But you’ve seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you. The Spirit, not content to flit around on the surface, dives into the depths of God, and brings out what God planned all along.” Bev Robinson
July 22, 2013. Eat, sleep, and breathe Me. Let every single move you make be a statement of the good news you yourself have received and believed. You’ve heard the saying, “garbage in, garbage out”. Counter that statement by consuming the goodness which is found in every aspect of Me. Be consumed with My life. So much so, that you cannot help but have Me ooze from your pores. Assimilate My life and light. Preach the gospel in everything you say and do. By digesting Me, you cannot help but bring Me up.
Psalm 34:8 (AMP) “O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.” Kevin Robinson
July 20, 2013. How long, how long will you feel rejected? Maybe you were born into rejection because you were not wanted as a child. Perhaps your mother became pregnant at the very end of her abilities to conceive a child. You were a surprise child seemingly out of season. Maybe your mother adored you, but your father never wanted you. You became a carrier of rejection, straight from your earthly father. But there came a time when you found your Heavenly Father’s love and acceptance to be enough. You began to realize who you are in His Son Jesus and you burst forth, breaking the chains of rejection. How long then will you feel rejected? Not one minute longer. Celebrate your acceptance.
Romans 11:15 (NASB) “For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?” Ras Robinson
July 20, 2013. There’s something in which you need to train yourself . You are allowing your thoughts to rule you rather than you ruling your thoughts. In your mind you are allowing thoughts to jump too quickly from topic to topic. There are many things going on with you right now. But you need to slow your mind down. Complete your thinking about something before jumping quickly to something else . Your jumping thoughts are causing confusion. You can retrain yourself to do this when you allow Me to think thoughts through you.
2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV) “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” Bev Robinson
July 20, 2013. Broaden your horizon. Expand the scope in your field of view. There are boundless frontiers ahead of you. Be bold enough to take steps of faith. Courageously venture into areas about which you’ve only dreamed. You have spoken about your dreams to a select few or perhaps to no one at all. Even still, get up and get moving. Trust Me as your only source of inspiration. Move when I say move. Begin now by making the necessary preparations. If it’s as simple as getting a passport or visa, apply now.
1 Chronicles 4:10 (NASB) “Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!” And God granted him what he requested.” Kevin Robinson
July 19, 2013. Become known as a generous person. People watch your behavior. They look at you with a critical and discerning eye. They want to know if your actions back up what you say. It is a good testimony when you tell of your exploits in open-hand giving to the poor. When they see you do what you say, many will be persuaded to become like you. They need leadership and example. Therefore, let your generosity be like a beacon that brings generosity from others. The Lord repays with good interest.
Proverbs 19:17 (NASB) “One who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD, and He will repay him for his good deed.” Ras Robinson
July 19, 2013. Events are moving really fast. There is something you have missed, but it is not too late to recover. Slow down so you won’t miss getting done what needs to happen next. There is one thing that absolutely must be done or the whole project will be delayed and put everyone behind schedule. Let things go that are not necessary, and give your total attention and concentration to the one thing that must be done. I have given you the plan. Don’t delay in getting it done.
Deuteronomy 12:28 (NASB) “Be careful to listen to all these words which I command you, so that it may be well with you and your sons after you forever, for you will be doing what is good and right in the sight of the Lord your God.” Bev Robinson
July 19, 2013. Until you hear otherwise, continue forward with full determination toward what you have heard from Me to do. Do not let naysayers cast their wet blanket mentality on the dreams and visions I have placed within you. There will always be pessimists among you. Refute them with assurance. Prove false their negativity. Be resolute with My truth. Stand firm and strong and find believers who are resilient. Position yourself along with them. You are determined, strong-minded, and Spirit led. Your unwavering nature is strengthening others who have faith to believe.
Galatians 5:7-8 (NLT) “You were running the race so well. Who has held you back from following the truth? It certainly isn’t God, for he is the one who called you to freedom.” Kevin Robinson
July 18, 2013. Do you ever allow yourself to make excursions into being a child again? Have you ever shifted into “child gear?” Children are sure they can do anything, go anywhere and become anything. Such children are filled with curiosity and wonder. Adults who really love children delight in watching their creative behavior. Such adults long for and wonder if they could ever be a child again. Jesus says it is possible. Those who do it become the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 18:6 (NASB) “Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”| Ras Robinson
July 18, 2013. Stay true to what I have called you to. It would be easy to veer off course. A change may be necessary at a later time, but I will let you know when that time comes. It isn’t always easy to do what needs to be done after the new wears off and the going gets a little rough. But at the time when there is a lull in excitement is often when many of the good things happen. Stay on course and thoughtfully ask Me what to do next.
Psalms 139:16 (NLT) “You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” Bev Robinson
July 18, 2013. Look at pride from another perspective. See the work you perform being completed with excellence, superiority, quality and distinction. Accomplish all the tasks placed before you with pride, knowing well that you are representing Me in all that you do. Represent Me with Godlike character. Fulfill your responsibilities completely with what is required of you, exhibiting Me in all things. Do whatever is necessary to fully finish what you have begun. Take pride in knowing My name is being left behind as an indicator of what is right.
Proverbs 22:1 (NASB) “A good name is to be more desired than great wealth, favor is better than silver and gold.” Kevin Robinson
July 17, 2013. Good things are on their way to you. This passing season has been difficult. I have watched you give of yourself to serve others. At times this has been costly for you. Your righteousness has been your main defense. Because you followed close after Me, you were being escorted by mighty angels. I look after those who look after Me and My Kingdom. You are highly honored as a brave soldier and servant. Many good things will become a flow because of My grace towards you.
Psalm 16:11 (NLT) “You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.” Ras Robinson
July 17, 2013. It is time to change your focus. You have been seeing the way it is in reality, that is you think it’s real. But what you are seeing and what you are thinking is not real. What seems real is not real and will fade away. What is real is what will remain throughout eternity. The goodness… My goodness… remains. What is bad will pass. Not to where you are, but the way of all that is wrong and bad. That’s the broad way. The narrow way is My way.
Matthew 7:13-14 (AMP) “Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it.” Bev Robinson
July 17, 2013. You are absolutely priceless. There is nothing on earth that compares with you. You have gifts and talents which are unique to you and to you alone. The value you represent is like none other. My attributes which I have freely given you never cease to amaze Me. I encourage you to thoroughly develop the special abilities with which I have blessed you. Fine tune, hone, and sharpen the ability sets I have placed within you. Don’t allow yourself to be caught up in any form of comparison with those around you.
1 Peter 4:10 (AMP) “As each of you has received a gift (a particular spiritual talent, a gracious divine endowment), employ it for one another as [befits] good trustees of God’s many-sided grace [faithful stewards of the extremely diverse powers and gifts granted to Christians by unmerited favor]” Kevin Robinson
July 16, 2013. You have nothing to fear. The Lord is forever with you. He will not walk away from or abandon you. Even when hard times come, and they surely will from time to time, you can rest assured that God is right beside you always. Never allow your mind to entertain even the thought that He will reject you or show revenge in any way. His ways are not our ways. Learn from His kindness and tenderness. God only has perfect love for you. That perfect love casts out all fear.
Psalm 16:8 (NLT) “I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.” Ras Robinson
July 16, 2013. Yes I know you have been and are still being attacked by fear. Everyone at times in their life is attacked by fear. Fear is the exact opposite of faith and most times is an effective ploy of the devil. He doesn’t want you to succeed. He doesn’t want you to be happy. He wants to keep you beaten down. He wants you doing the opposite of what your authorities say, and walk away from My will. Child, stand up, clothed in My armor and fight the fight of faith.
1 Timothy 6:20-21 (NLT) “Timothy, guard what God has entrusted to you. Avoid godless, foolish discussions with those who oppose you with their so-called knowledge. Some people have wandered from the faith by following such foolishness. May God’s grace be with you all .” Bev Robinson
July 16, 2013. A sign of gratitude is needed. Often you carry on with your daily routine and do not even acknowledge the privileged world in which you live. Stop and take note of the blessings beyond compare which you have been given. Recognize the hardships from which you have been spared and the deliverance from strongholds which once entangled you. Acknowledge the physical health you possess. Be familiar with where you have come from and where you are right now. Confessions of thanksgiving and appreciation are appropriate.
Psalm 9:1 (NASB) “I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders.” Kevin Robinson
July 15, 2013. You are in good standing with God. He loves you so. Your destiny is replete with blessings and favor that will never die nor can they be taken from you. The good stream of the Lord has enveloped you. He has opened the treasure chest of your inheritance. Nothing is being withheld that He has promised you. Your inheritance in God will yet manifest and overtake you. I declare to you all the blessing of your spiritual father Abraham. This is because you too have obeyed and will yet obey My voice.
Genesis 22:18 (NASB) “In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” Ras Robinson
July 15, 2013. Now is not the time to let your faith flag. Don’t go limp. Stand up in straight faith. It has been at times like this in the past where you sabotage yourself. No one else is against you, but the devil at times like this brings up the atmosphere of failures in which you were raised. The way to defeat him is to forgive your parents, siblings, young peers and anyone else I bring to mind. This will take away the devil’s ground for attack. You can do this through Me.
Ephesians 4:26-27 (MSG) “Go ahead and be angry. You do well to be angry-but don’t use your anger as fuel for revenge. And don’t stay angry. Don’t go to bed angry. Don’t give the Devil that kind of foothold in your life.” Bev Robinson
July 15, 2013. You have much more power than you know. Among your peers and friends, people recognize the power and authority you possess. They look to your leadership capability and capacity for direction and guidance. Be aware of the position in which I have placed you. Utilize the gifting I have given you. You have a calming effect upon others when storms rise up around them. Assert yourself . Take the initiative and speak words of grace, comfort and strength. The body of Christ is in dire need of mighty believers who’ll step forth.
Luke 4:18-19 (NASB) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed, To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.” Kevin Robinson
July 13, 2013. The devil’s memory may be better than yours. He recalls details of your long ago sins. He scrambles some of the details in order to shame and harass you. The effect, if you allow it, is to sap your spiritual energy and enthusiasm. You feel unworthy of God’s love . Bow before God and submit fully to Him. The devil will flee. The closer you snuggle up to God, the more He will embrace you. Commit to guard your mind against being double-minded. Wash your hands of all sin. Ask God for help.
James 4:7-8 (NASB) “Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” Ras Robinson
July 13, 2013. Don’t give up. I know you are on the verge of this happening, but don’t do it. I know this is a hard time and good things appear to be happening to others, even some who do not profess to believe in Me. But your blessings are already on their way. I know you can’t make yourself believe this. But you can refuse unbelief when it comes to your mind. Your enemy Satan will surely cause it to come to mind. But don’t let it enter. Take every thought captive.
2 Corinthians 10:5 (NKJV) “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” Bev Robinson
July 13, 2013. Having undivided attention is easier said than done. You are constantly bombarded every day for something new or different. It is essential for you to fine tune your fine motor skills to focus purely and primarily on Me. Lean on Me to help you filter out the constant noise which pounds your senses daily. Focus your eyes, ears and emotions on Me. Center your undivided attention on Me and notice how all the commotion quickly fades. Let Me be the primary source for all your information.
Romans 12:2 (NKLV) “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Kevin Robinson
July 12, 2013. You were sailing along in the peaceful light wind. Earlier you weighed anchor, thinking that smooth sailing would continue. But suddenly a strong wind came up. Too late now. Your anchor was of no value. You have cut loose from your anchor thinking smooth sailing will follow. But you have lost control of your ship. The strong winds are leaving you helpless. Shipwreck is ahead. What you have feared most of your life is about to come upon you. You have had your way with accountability to no one. Now you will reap the whirlwind. There is always time to repent.
Acts 27:13-15 (MSG) “When a gentle southerly breeze came up, they weighed anchor, thinking it would be smooth sailing. But they were no sooner out to sea than a gale-force wind, the infamous nor’easter, struck. They lost all control of the ship. It was a cork in the storm.” Ras Robinson
July 12, 2013. I know you like to do new things. It’s exhilarating. Don’t minimize this desire in yourself. Not everyone likes this. Many like to stay comfortably where they are. I have made you just like you are, and made them just like they are. I need both of you to get kingdom work done. You have been doing many new things, but now it is time to recoup. There needs to be time of working the familiar to maintain your new position. If you don’t take time, this position will soon fade then dissipate.
1 Chronicles 26:27 (AMP) “From spoil won in battles they dedicated gifts to maintain the house of the Lord.” Bev Robinson
July 12, 2013. Let Me get in touch with you. You often lose contact with your own emotions when tough situations come to the forefront in your personal life. Do everything within your power not to lose connection with your feelings and sentiments. Find someone in whom you can confide and let them help you. Satan wants to overpower you and squelch you. It is vital to stay in close contact with your innermost being. Allow My Holy Spirit to reveal any suppressed areas which may be hidden away deep inside you.
Psalms 51:6-7 (NASB) “Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom. Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.” Kevin Robinson
July 11, 2013. Make no mistake about it, your integrity looms more important than you can even imagine. Every great person of current and former times stood out because of their integrity. Your integrity comes from the Lord as you spend time with Him . When you do this, you begin to see that your integrity is really the person of Jesus working Himself out through your life. Shakespeare said, “First to thine own self be true and then as night follows the day, you cannot then be false to anyone.” Groom and polish your integrity.
Proverbs 11:3 (NASB) “The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the crookedness of the treacherous will destroy them.” Ras Robinson
July 11, 2013. There is apprehension about starting, but do it anyway. The reason there is so much apprehension is because you are standing at the cusp of something great. Satan will try anything to thwart your success. But he won’t succeed if you keep seeking Me and keep doing what I tell you. This is My plan and it is big. Remember when I told you that if you knew the plans I had for you it would be hard to believe? This is one of them. Keep Me as your center.
Jeremiah 29:11-12 (NASB) “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope . ‘Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” Bev Robinson
July 11, 2013. Extend grace and mercy to others whenever the opportunity arises. People want compassion and understanding from you. They are watching you closely to see how you will treat them and others when shortcomings rise up. Display kindness to everyone you encounter, not just to the ones who have met your predetermined standards. Humanity sometimes seems best portrayed from those who don’t know Me. Live a lifestyle of forgiveness. Are your arms outstretched in love and acceptance or are they crossed and closed off? Check your body language.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (NASB) “And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.” Kevin Robinson
July 10, 2013. Who would harm a helpless child? Is there such a person who would terrify children? That person would be sick of mind. Who stands as their advocate for justice? God Himself so loves children that He alone can bring both safety and abundant grace. The Lord says today, “Examine your heart and see if there would be compassion enough to move you to action. That helpless child is waiting for somebody to argue their case. They so need genuine and godly love and care. Are you a person who would help?”
Psalm 10:18 (NLT) “You will bring justice to the orphans and the oppressed, so mere people can no longer terrify them.” Ras Robinson
July 10, 2013. I know there is a hitch in your plans, but all will be good. I knew it would happen before you came to a stop. The stop will not stop you. It is just a pause in momentum. You have followed My word and now there is provision to cover this. Don’t worry about it. When you start again, it will be better than it ever has been. Following My way is always increase. Not necessarily in size. You may even consider paring down, but nevertheless it is increase. I love you.
Leviticus 26:4-5 (AMP) “I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase and the trees of the field yield their fruit. And your threshing [time] shall reach to the vintage and the vintage [time] shall reach to the sowing time, and you shall eat your bread to the full and dwell in your land securely.” Bev Robinson
July 10, 2013. Do not feel guilty for taking some much deserved time off from your hectic schedule. You have been working endlessly for quite some time now and it is essential for your physical health to take some time away to rest. Let your mind be at ease and lay your heavy burdens aside. You have been pushing yourself too hard at some of the tasks at hand. Release the burdens over to Me and let Me lighten your load. Refuse to let the enemy make you feel uncomfortable for some time alone.
Matthew 11:29 (AMP) “Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.” Kevin Robinson
July 9, 2013. You have given out in compassion. Likewise, the Holy Spirit will return compassion to you. As He comforts you, so you will comfort others. You have seen families suffer death and the aftermath. Some lost one or both parents. Suffering occurs and may continue for a time. But Jesus sent the Holy Spirit as a Helper and Comforter. He lives within every believer to show the love of Christ in difficult and good times. You are a messenger and a conveyer of this powerful comfort that others so need. Be generous.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV) “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” Ras Robinson
July 9, 2013. There are two paths before you and you are wanting to hear which one to take. Your mind is weighing both paths. Don’t say anything to anyone about which one you should take, because to them it will not seem to matter. From outward appearance it does not seem to matter to anyone. But to Me it does because I know the tapestry of life I am weaving with your life and other’s lives . My child, I continually train you to hear and obey Me for this life and throughout eternity.
Psalms 40:7-8 (NIV) ” Then I said, “Here I am, I have come– it is written about me in the scroll. I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.” Bev Robinson
July 9, 2013. Serve Me with gladness in your heart. Some of the most disheartened, dejected and downcast people you will ever encounter are those who profess to know me as Savior and Lord. Don’t allow the enemy of your soul to steal the joy that is found in serving Me and others. Move beyond yourself to see the bigger picture of what I came to accomplish. Your whole world is truly about Me and My kingdom. Ask yourself “what can I do to further His rule and reign?” Find pleasure in serving.
Colossians 3:24 (NLT) “Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.” Kevin Robinson
July 8, 2013. I speak to you today of peace and calm. David was a man after God’s own heart. Yet God would not allow him to build His temple because David had fought too many battles, causing the shedding of too much blood. God gave him a son, Solomon, whose very name meant peace. Under his rule the temple would be built. He would rule God’s people in peace . I want you also, as a son of God, to be a peaceful leader, bringing forth peace and calm.
1 Chronicles 22:9 (MSG) “But you are going to have a son and he will be a quiet and peaceful man, and I will calm his enemies down on all sides. His very name will speak peace-that is, Solomon, which means Peace-and I’ll give peace and rest under his rule.” Ras Robinson
July 8, 2013. Spending time with Me is the most important thing you can do. After all you are a child of the King. Sometimes time spent with me appears to be unproductive, but quite the contrary. This attitude keeps you from knowing My ways, and one of the most important things you will ever know is how much I love you. You are a joint heir with My Son. The more you keep your mind and heart wrapped around that truth the more successful you will become in life. Experience that reality.
Romans 8:17 (MSG) “And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us-an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him!” Bev Robinson
July 8, 2013. My love is contagious. Let abounding love flow through you naturally and without inhibition, much like the spreadable laughter of a child. Children have no problem being themselves. They love to have fun, love to play and their imagination knows no end. Let the same be said of you. Live life to the fullest. Lay your fears aside and love like there’s no tomorrow. Speak words of love and acceptance . Wrap your arms around someone in a way you would hug yourself. Be infectious with and through Me.
1 John 4:7-8 (NLT) “Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” Kevin Robinson
July 6, 2013. It’s over! Today will never occur again. In this day you have experienced some unbelievable challenges. Impossibilities became your daily diet. You did not know My ultimate plan in advance. I brought you to the end of yourself so that when the right time came, you could live eternally with Me in paradise. My intent has always been good and glorious towards you. Thus you have become a pattern and example now for others. They can draw strength from you as you point them by your life to a living Savior Jesus.
Genesis 45:8 (NASB) “Now, therefore, it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh and lord of all his household and ruler over all the land of Egypt.” Ras Robinson
July 6, 2013. I know things are not exactly as you thought they would be. I can see alarm in your eyes and hear it in your voice. Others are not seeing and hearing all that I see and hear. They are not nearly as aware as I am. I am the one who knows the number of hairs on your head. No one around can know that number. I am the one who knows more, cares more and loves more. My child, I give comfort that reaches your innermost being. Trust Me.
Luke 12:7 (AMP) “But [even] the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be struck with fear or seized with alarm; you are of greater worth than many [flocks] of sparrows.” Bev Robinson
July 6, 2013. Let the cleansing begin. There’s a great deal of filth of which you need to rid yourself. The fact is you’re not sure where to begin in the cleanup process. Your will is the key element. Subject your will over to Me and allow me to guide you through the purging process. You are making major strides, realizing you need help with your ordeal. Humble yourself and ask for help from those with proven results. Purification, liberation and release are essential for your health and well being.
James 4:8 (NLT) “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.” Kevin Robinson
July 5, 2013. You are holding something in your hand with a clinched fist. There have been times when important things were wrenched from your hands. This resulted in great loss but also lost opportunities. This stifled your willingness to trust others who garner the same power as others. You ask, “Will they too walk away?” “Will they use me and then rob me?” Slowly open your hand, palm up. Cancel your ownership. Ask God to take it. He will give it back to you and safely guard it. Trust Him.
Job 22:21 (NASB) “Yield now and be at peace with Him; Thereby good will come to you.” Ras Robinson
July 5, 2013. Sensitivity is mostly a good thing. But being too sensitive and getting your feelings hurt, or sensitivity turned into suspicion, is not good. If you will have your sensitivity tuned in to Me, you won’t go wrong . It is then that you will be sensitive and discern the needs of others and sensitive and discerning to doing My will. Sensitive discernment is a gift. Use it wisely. Talk to Me about what you see, hear and feel is going on. I will sharpen your gifting to see from My viewpoint.
Proverbs 4:5 (AMP) “Get skillful and godly Wisdom, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation); do not forget and do not turn back from the words of my mouth.” Bev Robinson
July 5, 2013. Cherish all the moments. Appreciate where you are and what all took place for you to get here . Take time out of your hectic schedule and remember the paths you have taken. Taking into account the detours, roadblocks and stoppages, know that each part had to take place to ensure your safe delivery of the here and now. Be careful not to look with disdain, shame, or contempt upon any place, person or thing that you perhaps feel delayed your progress. Embrace Me and My lordship
Isaiah 51:1 (NASB) “Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were hewn and to the quarry from which you were dug.” Kevin Robinson
July 4, 2013. Celebration is in the air. You have been adopted as a child through Jesus. We celebrate because Jesus gave us the glory of His grace. You and we have good standing with God our Father. His will is to raise you up above all the circumstances this world has to offer. When times are good and when times are bad, your Father never faints or fades. He gave us a Rock on which to stand. Your foundations are solid and sure. This leaves no room for doubt, leaving true faith.
Ephesians 1:5-6 (NASB) “He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.” Ras Robinson
July 4, 2013. You don’t know which way to turn. You were doing well and something unexpected happened. It came as a surprise and now you are stymied. Don’t do anything right now. I know you don’t like to wait but waiting is a part of progress. You can get in the flesh if you go ahead in spite of the delay. I have it all under control. Seek Me and keep your eyes and ears open and alert to the right time to begin again. It will be soon. Wait in peace.
Psalms 5:3 (AMP) “In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare [a prayer, a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart].” Bev Robinson
July 4, 2013. Relationships are an integral part of your representation of Me and My truth. Examine yourself to see if you have improper associations with individuals or groups which are detrimental. Moral and upright character traits are lacking in the world. Embrace the fact that you have been sanctified. You have been set apart by Me and for Me. Be aware of your situations and surroundings at all times. Portray Me. Act in ways appropriate for your King. Monitor your manners. Behaviors speak very loudly.
1 Corinthians 15:33 (AMP) “Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character.” Kevin Robinson
July 3, 2013. You have wondered what kind of person God could trust without reservation. Those who follow closely and persistently after Him, find that God notices. He begins to trust them with larger and more expansive assignments. They get to declare the Kingdom of God wherever He sends them. People are changed along with families, churches, cities and nations. This is possible only by the favor of God filling and surrounding them with grace and power. David was a shepherd boy who followed closely after God. The light of God shone upon him and God made him a king.
Acts 13:22 (AMP) “And when He had deposed him, He raised up David to be their king; of him He bore witness and said, I have found David son of Jesse a man after My own heart, who will do all My will and carry out My program fully.” Ras Robinson
July 3, 2013. My child, come to Me with all that has burdened you down. Seek Me and seek My word and I will give you peace that goes beyond your understanding. Let your whole being relax and even wallow in that peace. This will keep your body from becoming unduly stressful and cause your mind to operate with freedom and clear thinking. David did that with all of the attacks on him and wrote many Psalms. He sought and found peace in Me. Find your peace in seeking Me and in the Psalms David wrote.
Psalms 61:2-3 (NLT) “From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me.” Bev Robinson
July 3, 2013. Roads, lanes, avenues, highways, byways and such are where the action is. Make a point to position yourself very near the intersections of these roadways. Utilize these cross points to declare My Gospel. The world has exploited you and others with their selling points and schemes at these junctures. Declare Me. Make My name known to those around you at these points. Expect signs and wonders in the heavens about you. Boldly ask for My glorious presence to be made known. Watch and see. Anticipate My manifested brilliance.
Luke 14:23 (NLT) “So his master said, ‘Go out into the country lanes and behind the hedges and urge anyone you find to come, so that the house will be full.” Kevin Robinson
July 2, 2013. The Lord has a destiny and purpose for you. You are to leave behind a legacy for all who know you or know of you. May it be said of you that you were a person of love and kindness in your dealings with people. Many and perhaps millions have come to faith in Christ because they discovered God’s kindness. Let your life demonstrate kindness, tolerance and patience in every situation. This is more necessary today in a world of strife, war and various disturbances. Be ye kind!
Romans 2:4 (NASB) ” Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?” Ras Robinson
July 2, 2012. I am always calling you to walk the higher road. Rise above the situation and see it from My vantage point. You are seated in heavenly places so observe from up here what is going on. What can you learn from this so you will not have to go around the mountain on this level again? Yes, you will continue to walk around the mountain again, but let it be on a higher plane. Don’t allow yourself to react in the flesh. Do the will of the One who sent you.
John 5:30 (NLT) “I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will.” Bev Robinson
July 2, 2013. Become known as one who is supportive of the decisions people make. Unless those decisions are harmful or disruptive, do everything within reason to encourage others. There is so much negative focus and attention given on just about everything that people have grown numb. Be a cheerleader, especially to the household of faith. Offer praise to people in public for their charitable efforts and good deeds. Be known as one who cares and understands. People long for reassurance and kindness. Be a pillar.
Psalm 20:2 (NASB) “May He send you help from the sanctuary and support you from Zion!” Kevin Robinson
July 1, 2013. A new day has come. Rejoice in it as a gift from God. Leadership has been changed in the heavenlies and now will begin to be manifested in the earth. Things will never again be as they once were. Do not attempt to change what I have commanded. The enormous blessings I intend will first make you very uncomfortable. You will be required to humble yourself and submit to an entirely new way of daily living. Wrapped with this gift package I am giving you is the inheritance for generations. Seize the day!
Joshua 1:2 (NASB) “Moses My servant is dead; now therefore arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel.” Ras Robinson
July 1, 2013. Things are happening so fast that it’s hard to keep up. You can keep up, but it will take concentration and wisdom. Stay in the present. Don’t let your mind wander negatively to the past or negatively to the future. That can cause both fear and worry. And they both can stop you in your tracks. There are times and ways to deal with fear or worry. That is for later when following My ways will set you free. Now is the time to wisely handle the present.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NASB) “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven.” Bev Robinson
July 1, 2012. Because of Me, you are a difference maker. Rest assured in knowing that nothing is insurmountable. When Paul wrote to those in Philippi, he knew where his strength came from. Paul gained understanding and recognized that he had become fully known. Testify and attest of the things you have seen and heard. Spur one another toward the pursuit of Kingdom living. The one who led you through the plan of salvation was a difference maker for you, right? Bear witness. You are Me wherever you go. Let’s transform the atmosphere.
Philippians 4:13 (AMP) “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].” Kevin Robinson
