What the Lord is Saying Today – August 2013
August 31, 2013. So, you took a punch in the belly today! Do you think you are so special that you should be excused from hurts and wounds? Or, perhaps you reason, while it is true that Jesus suffered and died at the hands of His friends, you should be spared? So, the best thing you can do at this point is to forgive over and over again until your spirit is clear. Jesus forgave not only those who murdered Him but He also forgave the sins of mankind forevermore. Will you?
Psalm 31:7-8 (NASB) “I will rejoice and be glad in Your lovingkindness, because You have seen my affliction; you have known the troubles of my soul, and You have not given me over into the hand of the enemy; you have set my feet in a large place.” Ras Robinson
August 31, 2013. You are not yet where you belong. You know it, but aren’t sure what to do about it to get there. I have not yet revealed what you should do. What you do will be questioned by someone. That is what you need to work on… doing what I say and not let that someone affect you by putting undue pressure on you. I will reveal, so prepare yourself not to give in to the pressure. I know the place you are to be. I am preparing your place of favor.
Psalms 139:16-17 (NLT) “You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!” Bev Robinson
August 31, 2013. Admitting you need help can be one of the most significant moves you will ever make. Pride has been, is, and will be the primary reason you and others have failed miserably. In your life, look back and see how many significant breakthroughs occurred for you simply because of your humility. Lay down your arrogant, egotistical and proud routines and pursue a more beneficial approach of lowness. I will keep you where you are until you lay down your foolish ways. Meekness can and will work limitless wonders for you.
James 4:6 (AMP) “But He gives us more and more grace (power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it).” Kevin Robinson
August 30, 2013. Every word of Scripture is tested in you. God will reveal to the spiritually hungry person a banquet table full of trust and wisdom. This revelation and application is the work of My Spirit. Resist any temptation to add to or take away the word of the Lord. When you have been true to My word, in that you protect its integrity, you can expect great reward from Me. Pray in the Spirit over what you read in My word. See if I will not pour out blessings over you.
Proverbs 30:5-6 (NASB) “Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.” Ras Robinson
August 30, 2013. One of the most beneficial things you can do is one of the things you dislike the most. “My child, receive correction when it is given. You will be one of my wise ones when you do this. Don’t be one with pride and reject what is spoken. Don’t recoil and think of ways the correction isn’t true or think of ways to get back at the one correcting you. Receive with humility that there is a blind spot you can’t see. Bring this to Me I can help you change.”
Proverbs 10:17 (AMP) “He who heeds instruction and correction is [not only himself] in the way of life [but also] is a way of life for others. And he who neglects or refuses reproof [not only himself] goes astray [but also] causes to err and is a path toward ruin for others.” Bev Robinson
August 30, 2013. Trust your heart of compassion. The core of who I am resides in your heart. Do not neglect to offer the kind, benevolent and caring nature you have received from Me. My streams of life flow within you. People around you are in need of the thoughtfulness I have given you. Freely offer to others as you too have freely received. Become a lively participant in sharing what is yours to give. Embrace an active role of being a conduit through which I will share My goodness.
Jeremiah 31:14 (NASB) “I will fill the soul of the priests with abundance, And My people will be satisfied with My goodness,” declares the Lord.” Kevin Robinson
August 29, 2013. You no doubt have heard the voice of the Lord. He speaks often in the thunder of a storm, the rolling and crashing of the sea waves. His voice can be heard in your stomach or in your nervous system. His voice is powerful enough to be heard even in a cicada or a cricket’s clicks. God speaks in modern and classic art pieces. Last night, I enjoyed the galleries displaying several highly skilled western cowboy art paintings. He is truly majestic. Do you stop, look and listen?
Psalm 29:3-4 (NLT) “The voice of the LORD echoes above the sea. The God of glory thunders. The LORD thunders over the mighty sea. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic.” Ras Robinson
August 29, 2013. You have an opportunity. You can either speak good up-building words or words that tear down. Your opportunity is to bless or curse. I have called you to be one who blesses. Don’t go down the low road. Take the high road. An incentive I give to take the high road is knowing that whatever you give out returns again. But it doesn’t return in the same way. It returns pressed down, shaken together and running over. If you choose to bless or curse each will return with multiplied energy and power.
Luke 6:37-38 (NASB) “Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure-pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” Bev Robinson
August 29, 2013. Have you checked your front door lately? Have you found your way back to a far corner of where you live so that you cannot hear Me knocking to get your attention? Consider re-positioning yourself so you can listen for My presence where you live. Even though you do not sense that I am nearby, I am continually surrounding you every moment, every day. Watch for Me. Tune your ears to listen for Me. Change your mindset of desertion towards thinking about opportunities that await you. Eagerly anticipate how I move.
Revelation 3:20 (NLT) “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” Kevin Robinson
August 28, 2013. I have made you a leader wherever you are, but especially in your family and church. Often you do not feel worthy or effective as My anointed. What matters is hearing My voice and obeying Me. When you do those two simple things you are successful because you are pleasing to Me. You are the instrument I use to deliver My inheritance to those you lead. In this way, you can see the salvation of your people and I will give you charge as their shepherd and deliverer.
Psalm 28:8-9 (NIV) “The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever.” Ras Robinson
August 28, 2013. Things have not worked out the way you thought or even hoped they would. This has left you with some frustration and you have not handled it well. When you are working with others you don’t always get to call the shots. Don’t take over. Don’t get in charge and run things the way you think they should be run. This will not be good. Let Me be in charge. Consult Me before making decisions. They will be different than the way you think of them. I have the answer. Beloved, seek Me now.
Isaiah 55:6 (NASB) “Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near.” Bev Robinson
August 28, 2013. Knowing My word can be one of your best decisions for dealing with the enemy. My word can be used strategically to bombard the enemy with an endless barrage of who and whose you are. My word can also be used tactically with pinpoint accuracy in knowing how to handle his lies. You are in an all-out war. Having thorough knowledge of Scripture, especially through memorization, will strengthen and encourage you. Find whatever means possible to make My word a part of you for immediate recall and application.
2 Timothy 2:15 (NIV) “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” Kevin Robinson
August 27, 2013. You are exhausted or else you will soon experience it. Being exhausted is no excuse for quitting. There is an enemy chasing you who will never give up the pursuit to steal, kill and destroy what is yours. Do allow yourself to be slack in an hour like this. Yes, the time is hard and there is not much encouragement to be found. So, learn diligence and endurance during hard and difficult times and seasons. Now, throw your shoulders back, lift your eyes to the heavens and resolve to never give up.
Judges 8:4 (NLT) “Gideon then crossed the Jordan River with his 300 men, and though exhausted, they continued to chase the enemy.” Ras Robinson
August 27, 2013. Someone has said they want to do something and what they want will affect you. It will be a major change. You like it like it is, but they want the change. You think it won’t be easy, and it won’t at first. It’s something you have feared but after the change you’ll be pleased. Ask Me for wisdom. I have had good things prepared for you for a long time, but you needed to risk and exercise your faith. Do what I say and the change will be rewarding.
Psalm 37:5 (NASB) “Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.” Bev Robinson
August 27, 2013. I know of the seemingly endless desert where you feel like you’ve been camped. I know of your discouragement with the status quo. Fear not, for it is in the desert where I’ve done some of My most powerful works. I spiritually strengthened John the Baptist in the barren place. I used ravens and fed Elijah by the stream of water. I sought after and heard clearly the voice of My Father while in the wilderness. Expect Me to minister to you mightily during this period.
Isaiah 51:3 (NASB) “Indeed, the Lord will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places. And her wilderness He will make like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and sound of a melody.” Kevin Robinson
August 26, 2013. You are a person of integrity. God has taught you its value in guarding and protecting you through your knowledge of the Lord. You are known for your (His) wisdom. The Psalmist depended upon his integrity and uprightness to protect him because His hope was in the Lord. Therefore, note this one thing, your integrity is now in your identification with the person of Jesus. His righteousness has become yours and with it also came His integrity. You are blessed . Walk in your integrity and in the joy of the Lord.
Psalm 26:11 (NASB) “But as for me, I shall walk in my integrity; redeem me, and be gracious to me.” Ras Robinson
August 26, 2013. Do all you can to keep your attitude positive and in faith. A setback has come, but it has not come to stay. It has come to pass. Take your thoughts captive. Cause them to dwell on things that are good. Don’t settle for where your thinking is now. Trust that it will soon change and in effect is changing right at this instant. Your enemy is throwing slime on the time that should be a time of recovery. Trust in Me. Know that change… good change is coming soon.
Philippians 4:8 (NASB) “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.” Bev Robinson
August 26, 2013. An extra dose of patience is what is needed right now. There is no reason to get in a rush because the matters at hand are in a holding pattern. Though patience is not always easy to come by, continually ask Me to renew your strength while the wait continues. Your patience thus far is admirable and you are truly establishing character beyond your own belief. Though you do not fully understand the process of what I am doing, trust Me with every little detail. I am faithful.
Hebrews 10:36 (NLT) “Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.” Kevin Robinson
August 24, 2013. A prophet from Oklahoma, a dear friend who prophesies so accurately, shared with me today from his sick bed that he believes we have little time left to repent of our sins as a nation. God showed him that indeed the glory of the Lord is about to cover the earth as the waters cover the seas. A sustained nation-wide revival is on the way. The Lord says, “Only believe and what I have promised will be yours forever. I reward those who seek after Me. This is My promise to you.”
Jeremiah 24:7 (NLT) “I will give them hearts that recognize me as the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me wholeheartedly.” Ras Robinson
August 24, 2013. I want you to know in the deepest depths of your soul that I am good. I am the source of all good. I also want you to know in the deepest depths of your soul that I have good stored up for you all the days of your life. I have done this by My covenant and I show you this in My word. I also have mysteries to show you of things to come. I show you how to respond in all situations. I have good solutions.
Jeremiah 33:3 (NASB) “Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Bev Robinson
August 24, 2013. What is it that’s overflowing from you right now? Is it anger or judgment? Perhaps you don’t know. When pressure mounts up all around you, what spills out of you for all to see? Tension can flare up unannounced if you’re not honest with yourself and others. Whatever is inside you will begin to runoff when stress isn’t handled properly. Let consistency be established in every aspect with Me. Everyone encounters hardship of some sort. Embrace forgiveness . Walk in peace and love like there’s no tomorrow.
Colossians 2:7 (NLT) “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” Kevin Robinson
August 23, 2013. It can be said of you that you are “true blue.” You are what you say you are and you do what you say. You are not a bells and whistles person. People love you because when they see and hear you, they and see Jesus. You are so humble you cannot believe people actually love you. But they do, in a dimension not known to or by many. From this point on in your life, you will have warfare and various skirmishes but in the end you will gloriously prevail.
Matthew 23:2-3 (MSG) “The religion scholars and Pharisees are competent teachers in God’s Law. You won’t go wrong in following their teachings on Moses. But be careful about following them. They talk a good line, but they don’t live it. They don’t take it into their hearts and live it out in their behavior. It’s all spit-and-polish veneer.” Ras Robinson
August 23, 2013. I know things need to be done right. Changes do need to be made. But on your own you can’t make the right thing happen, no matter how hard you try. If you keep at it, confusion will occur. You will eventually burn out. Get in My stream. Listen to me. Do things My way. My way is the way of rest. My rest doesn’t mean you will do nothing, but what will work needs to be initiated and directed by Me. Seek Me My child and I will give victory.
John 15:5 (AMP) “I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.” Bev Robinson
August 23, 2013. You have often heard the phrase: “seeing is believing.” You similarly move about much like Thomas, My disciple. You yourself have to literally see in order to believe. You have had so much joy stolen from you because of your skepticism. The fact that the sky is blue is easy for you to believe. Yet because you were denied a simple request you made some time ago, you refuse to accept further truths because they’re not visible. Repent for your unbelief and watch revelation pour into you like never before.
Matthew 13:58 (NKJV) “Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” Kevin Robinson
August 22, 2013. You are special to the Lord. He chose you as His very own before you were born. And He delights in you today. Not even one person of any rank or order is of more value to Him than you. The poorest of the poor children is of the same value He places on you. The richest and most powerful king of the earth holds all in common with you as to importance. You have the same honor as kings and princes. Allow the love of God to cover all.
Proverbs 22:2 (MSG) “The rich and the poor shake hands as equals- GOD made them both!” Ras Robinson
August 22, 2013. The end of this ordeal is in sight. Don’t give in to your emotions. Remain patient. You don’t want to speak something that you will regret later. Let Me help with emotions. I can also put a guard about your mouth. Trust Me. All is for your benefit and My glory. You don’t know the exact outcome and have some anxiety about what is yet to come. Rely and rest in Me and all will be well. Haven’t I given you wisdom thus far? I will not leave you alone.
Romans 8:38 (NLT) “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” Bev Robinson
August 22, 2013. Be bold and speak out what you see and hear. I have given you information which could be extraordinary to those who will listen. When seemingly random thoughts, Scripture verses, facts and figures pop up in your mind, consider that it may be for those you are with. Within you is the ability to receive heavenly downloads. Be about blessing one another with those downloads from Me. You have been entrusted with amazing abilities. Use them wisely. Speak encouraging words to one another.
1 Corinthians 12:7-8 (NLT) “A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge.” Kevin Robinson
August 21, 2013. The Lord has written in His word that believers are like kings and queens in the Kingdom of God. It is a grace He has given. He is now training these kings and queens to rule and reign in Christ Jesus. The world is ours and all that is within it. And for this, their normal state is to be greatly rejoicing. God has given the heart’s desire to His kings and queens. He has not withheld the requests of their lips. They have become the envy of those in the earth.
Psalm 21:1-2 (NASB) “O LORD, in Your strength the king will be glad, and in Your salvation how greatly he will rejoice! You have given him his heart’s desire, and You have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.” Ras Robinson
August 21, 2013. It is a gift to be able to catch problems early, before they become big problems. Be on the alert and you can do this. You don’t want to keep your focus on problems; your focus needs to be on thankfulness for the good things which have happened. But out of the corner of your eyes and mind, keep watch for little problems. Don’t let them make headway, head them off before they have a chance to grow into big things. Remember it is a gift; all you have to do is stay alert.
1 Peter 5: 8 (NASB) “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” Bev Robinson
August 21, 2013. You have all the tools you need to accomplish the upcoming task, but don’t rely on your own abilities. Place your trust in Me for the fulfillment of the desired goal. Too often you have waited for the all the pieces of the puzzle to be in place before you act. Believe in what I have told you to do. Rejoice in knowing I am providing for the completion of the mission and it will be right on time. Continually seek Me for wisdom at every junction.
Philippians 4:13 (AMP) “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].” Kevin Robinson
August 20, 2013. You probably know of some people who stand strong during times like these. They are My steady ones. This is a time of unrest and lack of peace in many places around the world. Some will give testimonies of these times, telling of the steady ones who do great exploits, helping many who are affected by the unrest. I will never abandon the widow or orphan. Your security in Me should encourage and fire your engines each day so that you are one of the steady ones in times of crisis.
Acts 17:11-12 (NASB) “Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. Therefore many of them believed, along with a number of prominent Greek women and men.” Ras Robinson
August 20, 2013. You thought you were facing this challenge by yourself. You have faced many other things with just a couple of you and you forget that there are those now in the wings wanting to help. Have I ever left you alone? You know I haven’t. I have brought you though so many things and you know I won’t abandon you. You have seen now once again that I will never leave you. Don’t resist help. It is a different day. You once could do it alone, but things have changed.
Genesis 28:15 (MSG) Yes. I’ll stay with you, I’ll protect you wherever you go, and I’ll bring you back to this very ground. I’ll stick with you until I’ve done everything I promised you.” Bev Robinson
August 20, 2013. Don’t be in such a rush that you move foolishly. Prayerfully pause to consider the outcome of some important decisions which lay before you. Do not get ahead of what I am doing. Some of you are seriously considering spiritual leadership for your church. Though time is of the essence, it is critical for you to hear very carefully. Be sure to fully listen to the cares and concerns of all the parties involved. To the best of your ability leave no stone unturned and move as one.
1 Timothy 5:22 (NASB) “Do not lay hands upon anyone too hastily and thereby share responsibility for the sins of others; keep yourself free from sin.” Kevin Robinson
August 19, 2013. “You raise me up so I can stand on mountains. You raise me up to walk on stormy seas…” are lines from a well known song. It communicates the purity, power and grace of the Lord in all the activities and seasons of life. You have been experiencing some ominous mountains and stormy seas. It seems at times that you will never overcome them. To fear the Lord is to place Him above all things on earth and in the heavens. Confess to Him that He can do all things and that He is doing them for you. He becomes more desirable than gold and sweeter than honey to you. Be sure to let Him know.
Psalms 19:9-10 (GW) “The fear of the Lord is pure. It endures forever. The decisions of the Lord are true. They are completely fair. They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even the drippings from a honeycomb.” Ras Robinson
August 19, 2012. You are mine, precious one. I chose you. And the day you chose Me I infused my life into yours. I know you. I know where you have been and I know what you face now and I know what is coming. I am always with you. I will never leave you. I will never turn you away, no matter what . I am with you throughout eternity. I have things for you that you have never dreamed of. Listen to My voice and follow Me. We have places to go.
Isaiah 64:4-5 (NASB) “For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him. You meet him who rejoices in doing righteousness, Who remembers You in Your ways.” Bev Robinson
August 19, 2013. Too often you get caught up in arguments about how something is presented or delivered. You wrangle too much with semantics. Learn to give room to others in the same way you want flexibility given to you. Your stance on certain issues has been so rigid and stiff that you’ve alienated and wounded friends and loved ones. You’ve been granted grace upon grace upon grace. Let disputes be in the past. People are listening to every word you say. Be known as one who walks and talks peaceably.
2 Timothy 2:14 (NLT) “Remind everyone about these things, and command them in God’s presence to stop fighting over words. Such arguments are useless, and they can ruin those who hear them.” Kevin Robinson
August 17, 2013. You are one who, like the Bereans in Acts 17, examines the Scriptures that were taught in order to see if they are true. When someone comes along and wants to teach, you always want to know what they believe about the Scriptures and Christian doctrine . This is good. I have anointed you to be a watchman so my sheep will feed on good pasture. God’s truth is pure and usually simple. The Spirit quickens the hearts of the discerning so that a proper boundary is observed. The result is a strong, healthy and enduring faith.
August 17, 2013. Loneliness is knocking at your door. It has been there before. If feels like no one knows exactly who you are or what you go through. In a sense you are right. You are loved but no one can completely understand you or exactly walk in your shoes. If you keep thinking they will, it will be coming up against a brick wall. No one will ever know you like I do. No one will ever understand you like I do. I am the only one who fully can.
Luke 12:6-7 (NASB) “Are not five sparrows sold for two cents? Yet not one of them is forgotten before God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.” Bev Robinson
August 17, 2013. Consider going the extra mile in order to make contact with someone with whom you once were close. Go beyond the simple stage of interacting by means of social networking through electronics and get more personal. Perhaps a face to face interaction might be in order. Reflect back on times when someone made a quick visit to see you and how special that made you feel. Don’t live with regret. Move when prompted by My Spirit to move. Stay in touch with those who have made a difference in your life.
2 John 1:12 (NLT) ” I have much more to say to you, but I don’t want to do it with paper and ink. For I hope to visit you soon and talk with you face to face. Then our joy will be complete.” Kevin Robinson
August 16, 2013. My favor covers you. You are my delight. In fact, I adore you just the way you are today. You have allowed me to renew your mind through filling it with my truth and wisdom. May your days be filled with unhindered joy and happiness. May you radiate like the most powerful lighthouse. For a lighthouse you are to those in peril. Many will be saved because of you. No one will ever be able to turn off your light because it is a supernatural gift from Me. Glow and shine!
Psalm 16:1-3 (NLT) “Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge. I said to the LORD, You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you. The godly people in the land are my true heroes! I take pleasure in them!” Ras Robinson
August 16, 2013. If you think I’m good and have nothing but the best for you, you will draw near to Me. If you think I am out to get you or have a list of things for you to measure up to, you will avoid Me. Examine yourself. Where do you stand with Me? What are your thoughts about Me? Do you know I love you more than anyone ever has ever loved you? Believe Me, I want you to know deeply I have the very best for you.
Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Bev Robinson
August 16, 2013. A challenge of sorts is in the works. You have diligently tried to change the atmosphere around you on many occasions. The question is, are you willing to change yourself? Let your actions speak louder than words. Instead of uttering words of complaint or criticism, allow a humble, meek and modest mindset to make its way into your conversation. Pray without ceasing and approach the impending situation from a quiet, unobtrusive position. Allow the change to begin with you . Renovate every aspect of every circumstance you encounter with a selfless mindset.
Matthew 5:5 (NLT) “God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth.” Kevin Robinson
August 15, 2013. You are under attack regarding proper and God chosen and appointed leadership. God’s blessings are often matched by strong attacks from the devil who lied to you, seeking to deceive and defeat your effort. The early church walked in agreement with God and one another. The bigger the issue, the stronger the attack will be. Are you walking in agreement with your spouse, your leaders and others with whom God has placed you? Humble yourself and try this. Submit to God and His appointed leadership for you. Reap the harvest.
Acts 15:24-26 (NASB) “Since we have heard that some of our number to whom we gave no instruction have disturbed you with their words, unsettling your souls,it seemed good to us, having become of one mind, to select men to send to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ras Robinson
August 15, 2013. Some corrections have to be made in someone’s activities. You don’t like to make corrections. You feel like you are in the childhood story of the “Three Bears.” Sometimes your corrections are too hard. Sometimes they are too soft. What you want is to do it just right. Pray and think through all that needs to be said. Speak with grace but firmness. Then follow though to see if the corrections are made. It is not good for the person to slack off. Now leave this all up to Me.
Proverbs 13:18 (NKJV) “Poverty and shame will come to him who disdains correction, But he who regards a rebuke will be honored.” Bev Robinson
August 15, 2013. Your tongue has amazing power. From it flow both blessings and curses. Make the choice right now to use your tongue to defuse hostile situations. Choose to speak peace where there is none. Infuse My life into places where hope has been lost. You have been filled with My most precious fruit of the Spirit. Utilize those fruits and serve something like a fruit salad. You never know what each spoonful holds, nonetheless you keep serving. Make wise choices daily to impart My word to people who desperately need Me.
Psalms 1:1-2 (NKJV) “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.” Kevin Robinson
August 14, 2013. God’s plan for salvation of Israel is a plan of joy and fulfillment. Good things are in store for those who fear and hear the Lord and His prophetic word to Israel. The enemy of souls continues to rob God’s chosen people of His marvelous intentions. By faith I place myself in the number of those who fit into God’s plan of salvation . I can see dancing, shouting and full laughter from the joy that overflows when God’s grace is infused and received. Join with me in faith to believe in this glorious salvation of Israel.
Psalm 14:7 (NASB) “Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD restores His captive people, Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad.” Ras Robinson
August 14, 2013. From My vantage point I see things differently than you do. I’m training you to see through My eyes and hear through My ears. Pay attention to what’s in your mind according to My Word. When you practice this, you will be living in a realm beyond the natural. Immerse yourself into Me and My Word and see how I think and what I do. Do not let what you do be controlled by the world. Follow Me and make an impact in the world.
Ephesians 1:20-23 (MSG) All this energy issues from Christ: God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven, in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the church. The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ’s body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence.” Bev Robinson
August 14, 2013. May confidence always be spoken in the same breath as who people say you are. The world around you is confident in their skin and that is not always the case in regard to Christians. In fact, many believers shy away from who they are when the spotlight shines their way. Let there be a shift in your thinking. Move about in the self-assurance found within Me. Walk in My uprightness. Let honor, respectability, and righteousness be said about you. You have been set apart for and by Me. Move accordingly.
Philippians 1:27 (NASB) “Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;” Kevin Robinson
August 13, 2013. Catch a breath. You are struggling against time. But, time is Mine. Only I know the seasons and when each will come or go. I will teach you deep knowledge and an understanding of My seasons. Working on new things has prevented you from smelling the roses you planted before. Furthermore, your work is like an orange. But about the time you finish half of it, Satan slices off the other half of your orange and steals it. Stop, listen and breathe deeply. There will be no repeats. I am waiting and offering to help.
Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 (NIV) “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which one can say, “Look! This is something new”? It was here already, long ago; it was here before our time.” Ras Robinson
August 13, 2013. You are never too old to be My child. Yes as you mature you are to put away childish ways. There is a difference in childlike ways and childish ways. Childish ways are self-centered ways. Some childlike ways are love, playfulness, quick forgiveness, being amazed at wonders and being easily corrected. Don’t let pride rise up. Continue in the attitude of “I don’t know everything and am willing to learn.” My child, maintain a flexible attitude, correcting your course when going the wrong way and you will grow in wisdom and favor.
Proverbs 3:11-12 (NLT) ” My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.” Bev Robinson
August 13, 2013. Challenge yourself to go above and beyond what has been delivered to you. Too often you have been willing to receive without question almost everything spiritually you have received from others. Test the water for yourself. Dive deeper into the heart of matters you don’t fully comprehend. Though it is imperative that you submit to the spiritual authority I have placed over you, study for yourself to gain fuller understanding of My guidance in your life. Perform further investigations to perhaps gain knowledge beyond what you have already attained.
2 Timothy 2:15 (ESV) “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.” Kevin Robinson
August 12, 2013. Mark this word for future reference. You will need more wisdom and courage than at any time in your life. The enemy of your soul has made a playground and a laboratory of life around you. He knows your weaknesses and temptations. Every button in your being is his target to push. His agenda is to destroy you, your family, your church and your nation. Being a liar and deceiver, he is a schemer with an Olympic gold medal status. Your only real hope is in the Lord and His Scriptures.
James 1:5 (NASB) “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” Ras Robinson
August 12, 2013. Give your best at the beginning. You are waiting too long to engage in what is happening. Then you have to spend an inordinate amount of time to catch up. If you would be aware of what you are doing early on, you would not have to do this. Practice engaging yourself early in what is going on and you will see what a difference it makes. You have allowed yourself to do this so long it is going to take extra effort. Your obedience will be rewarded.
Matthew 19:30 (KJV) “But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first” Bev Robinson
August 12, 2013. Be more attentive to yourself. Too often you are busy taking care of everyone else but the one who could really use some tender loving care. Take the necessary time to be focused on yourself. You are worth the same time and effort that you are so apt to give others. Listen carefully to those who are closest to you. It is essential for your health and well-being to be strong on the inside and out. Establish a scheduled discipline for yourself to ensure emotional, physical and spiritual longevity.
Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” Kevin Robinson
August 10, 2013. A life is best lived moment by moment. Life rolls along like a rolling stone, gathering good and bad debris. When bad things happen, go to the Lord for His comfort and direction. Of His wisdom, He gives freely. He is for you and not against you. Carefully listen to God’s voice concerning the bad things or else you could develop unforgiveness, resentfulness and even hatred toward others. God has a way up and out into His light. At the same time, look for His good and expect it.
Proverbs 10:12 (NASB) “Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all transgressions.” Ras Robinson
August 10, 2013. Thoughts continue to tumble in your mind like air borne ping pong balls. Some are good and some not so good. All need to be taken captive in obedience to Me, Those from the devil need to dismissing and those from Me need to be sealed away as absolute truth. My thoughts of truth need to be acted on. These will open the eyes of your heart to the immeasurable value of what you are doing and those with whom you are working. My child act and My peace will remain.
John 14:27 (NIV) “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Bev Robinson
August 10, 2013. Take all the necessary time you need to bolster those around you. People thrive when they receive words of encouragement and praise. Create an atmosphere of life through your own lifestyle. May all the fruit of the Spirit be manifested through you on a continual basis. Make the conscious effort to direct individuals to Me in everything you say and do. With My word, strengthen those around you. Reinforce people by recognizing their God-given gifts and thank them for freely using their gifts. Administer My life with you wherever you go.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 (AMP) “Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing.” Kevin Robinson
August 9, 2013. You have been called. Perhaps you heard, but perhaps you did not. Jesus is always speaking. He does not mind telling you things over and over again. He has an assignment for you, a city for you and a nation for you. But you wonder about why is He sending you and what you will do? Develop the patience of waiting on the Lord. While waiting, continually pray to the Lord asking, “What now Lord, do you desire of me? I stand ready to serve You and mankind. I am yours.”
Acts 9:5-6 (NASB) “And he said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting, but get up and enter the city, and it will be told you what you must do.'” Ras Robinson
August 9, 2013. “I’m not sure I need to respond to the thoughts going through my mind,” is what you have been thinking. You are hoping you misunderstood what another was saying. Sometimes you have misheard and sometimes you have misspoken. These are the reasons you are thinking these things. Get a second party involved. One who understands both sides. You will be pleasantly surprised. I am pleased that as far as you are concerned you want to walk in peace and unity. The other person needs this.
Romans 12:18 (AMP) “If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” Bev Robinson
August 9, 2013. Utilize yourself. Become proactive and apply yourself to ministry for the body of Christ. Within you is My oil of anointing which heals, delivers and gives comfort. Be about administering My healing balm and salve to those who need a health-giving touch. Don’t minimize the power I have placed within you. Prayerfully consider how, when and where you are to make available a miracle moment for someone who needs a touch from Me. Don’t randomly apply My care. Listen carefully for My direction and obey without question or delay.
2 Corinthians 1:21-22 (NASB) “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.” Kevin Robinson
August 8, 2013. Today is to be your focus. You no longer have yesterday. Believe that tomorrow will surely come. Today is your workshop. Today is fully in play. Therefore, make a priority of encouraging others day after day. Plant your seed in their fertile ground. Their great need for encouragement is self-evident. Nothing that you sow will be wasted. And you have every right and expectation to see a big harvest in and from their lives. You will accomplish much more through encouragement of others than you will by ignoring obvious needs.
Hebrews 3:13 (NASB) “But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.” Ras Robinson
August 8, 2013. I have given you a free will. I don’t want to control you. I will not control you. I love you too much to do that. Neither do I want you to control anyone else. I want you to love them too much for that. I have left you an example to follow. I am in control of the situation. Yes, I want you to absolutely know that. I am sovereign. I have things for everyone involved to learn and benefits for everyone involved. Love doesn’t control anyone.
James 2:8 (AMP) “If indeed you [really] fulfill the royal Law in accordance with the Scripture, You shall love your neighbor as [you love] yourself, you do well.” Bev Robinson
August 8, 2013. Prepare yourself for the ground to move. Much like Paul and Silas felt the earthquake while they were in chains, so too will you experience shaking round about you. In those areas within your mind where you have been imprisoned by certain misguided thought patterns, you are about to experience some tremendous breakthroughs. Get ready for action. Know in advance that developments are being prepared right now on your behalf. Though you don’t know how and when this will occur, know there is seismic activity going on beneath you.
Acts 16:26 (KJV) “And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.” Kevin Robinson
August 7, 2013. Godly love. There was indeed a rebellious stone that kept gathering speed and size. Now you are into your own thing. Most of your friends have walked away. You have left people and things that are important to you. Repent or you will fall into your own pit. You know God to be merciful. He has extended to you grace upon grace over the years. You allowed the enemy to turn you slightly away from the godly ones who surrounded you.
Psalm 7:15-16 (NASB) “He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, and has fallen into the hole which he made. His mischief will return upon his own head, and his violence will descend upon his own pate.” Ras Robinson
August 7, 2013. It wasn’t your intention to cause someone to feel uncomfortable. It was a breakdown in communication. You realized it after it was over and you feel badly that it happened. It wasn’t your fault. There was a lack of understanding on the one hearing what you said. You are anxious about this as you don’t like to make anyone feel badly. Don’t worry about it. Leave it to Me to work this out, but stay ready to speak and act. I am working in the heart of the other one.
Psalms 94:18-19 (NASB) “If I should say, “My foot has slipped,” Your lovingkindness, O Lord, will hold me up. When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.” Bev Robinson
August 7, 2013. Your foolish pride has put you into the position you are in right now. You have been searching without success for answers to some serious questions in your life. Try a different approach. Humble yourself and remove the selfish quotient from the equation. Refuse to let your egotistical attitude get the better of yourself. The resistance you keep coming against is from Me. Your means for attaining your goals will continue to be fruitless if you continue the direction you’re headed. Move toward an unassuming lifestyle before Me as Lord.
James 4:5-7 (NLT) “What do you think the Scriptures mean when they say that the spirit God has placed within us is filled with envy? But he gives us even more grace to stand against such evil desires. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but favors the humble.” So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Kevin Robinson
August 6, 2013. It is a good calling to be known as a friend and close associate who never turns back. Consider being such a friend. It is the love of God in you that allows and compels you to become known as dependable. To do so means you will need to be selfless and giving. You will need to yield your own agenda in order to facilitate the agenda of your friend. Not many rise to that level of friendship, but it is possible to those who eagerly desire it. Be a friend.
Colossians 1:7-8 (MSG) “It’s as vigorous in you now as when you learned it from our friend and close associate Epaphras. He is one reliable worker for Christ! I could always depend on him. He’s the one who told us how thoroughly love had been worked into your lives by the Spirit.” Ras Robinson
August 6, 2013. Beware precious one. Don’t let your embassy close or cause you to become fearful because of the harassment of the enemy. The devil and his minions are always present, looking for ways to stop you from telling about the good things I have done in your life. I have made you an ambassador in a land that is not your own. Your real home is in another land, My land. Keep your guard up. Stay on alert. Make changes and also pray for necessary change by others before it gets too late.
1 Thessalonians 5:17-19 (NASB) “pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit;” Bev Robinson
August 6, 2013. I am continually calling out to your deepest parts. All the richness of all the wealth I have to offer is in your core spiritual being. Allow yourself to tap into the complexities which can and are being revealed to you. The wisdom I have and continuously offer has confounded and perplexed the wisest people of this world. Unto you has been revealed mysteries. Let yourself see the unseen, hear the unspoken and understand the profound. It’s simple. Believe. Cast aside doubt and unbelief. Become childlike and receive.
Colossians 1:26-27 (NASB) “that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Kevin Robinson
August 5, 2013. What a blessing it is to continually bear blessings from God to those you and He love. You have received blessings upon blessings from your God. He says, “It is according to your new nature that you have become well known as one who freely gives. People everywhere like to see you coming because they know you will have blessings to deliver from God. You have no idea the ministry you have to people. I have prepared and placed you exactly where you are. Take stock now and freely give those blessing in My name.
Psalm 5:11 (NLT) “But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy.” Ras Robinson
August 5, 2013. The subtle reaction to something you said causes you to feel like you pushed something too far. You feel there will be retaliation, and this will cause all the progress that has been made to be jettisoned. You have seen this happen before; it is the reason for your assessment. This time it is going to be different. Remember all the prayers you have made. They are working. Just because the good hasn’t happened immediately doesn’t mean I haven’t been at work. Don’t stop praying. All will continue to improve.
1 Thessalonians 5:17-19 (NASB) “pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit;” Bev Robinson
August 5, 2013. Imagine using a kaleidoscope of words so profound that any word you speak brings freedom. Incorporate My word throughout your daily speech. In spending quality time with Me each day, you cannot help but speak of My wonders, love and care . Do not be ashamed to declare who I am and what I am about. Let your speech drip with the sweetness of honey. Speak of the truth within you with confidence. Become a word weaver. Intertwine My truth, life and light wherever you go. Declare I am the Way.
Colossians 4:6 (AMP) “Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never be at a loss] to know how you ought to answer anyone [who puts a question to you].” Kevin Robinson
August 3, 2013. I declare that my family exudes loyalty and kindness. From this day forward I will continue to raise those two flags high over our family. Perhaps your family loyalty and kindness is not as strong as you would like. Then make the declaration that from this day forward things will change. Quote the verse below. Write it on your heart and the other hearts by declarations and manifestations of both loyalty and kindness. Make this a deep commitment from your heart. Speak freely of the importance and show forth a good example.
Proverbs 3:3 (NLT) “Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart.” Ras Robinson
August 3, 2013. There is a relationship on its way. It is new but, really it is old. It has been around you for a while. It won’t be the relationship it has been. It will be much more upfront and personal. This will be surprisingly pleasant. There will be challenges but you will work through them, causing a stronger bond. The devil does not like this at all and will try to cause division. But you will be on alert, keeping division from happening. This will last and become sweeter as you go.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” Bev Robinson
August 3, 2013. May it be said about you that you have a never give up mentality. Too often these days, people are eager to throw in the towel when times get tough. Persistence is a character quality that seems to be lacking around you. Society all about you is beginning to be identified for their lack of determination. Learn to persevere. Many issues are left hanging in the balance and a lot of tasks are not getting closure. Finish what you started. Be known as one who maintains tenacity until the end.
Hebrews 12:1 (NLT) “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.” Kevin Robinson
August 2, 2013. Walking in agreement is most important. The very smallest benefit of agreement is that two people agree on their direction. Otherwise, there is friction waiting to engage you every step of the way. It is best to take time in the beginning of any relationship to determine both what is the direction and also on who is in charge. Men are especially aware of the wisdom of clarification in the beginning concerning who will be the leader. That clarity sweetens a relationship and makes the agreed upon journey peaceful and enjoyable.
Amos 3:3 (NLT) “Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction?” Ras Robinson
August 2, 2013. Hiding in the familiar is not helpful. What you need to be doing is hiding in Me. I am the one who knows all things. You can’t fix what is going on. I am the only one who can fix the problems. There is not just one problem. There are many. In the past, you have been amazed at the tapestry I weave. I can also unravel the problems that have knotted the tapestry. If you need to do something I will let you know. My child, rest in Me.
Hebrews 3:15 (NIV) “As has just been said: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.” Bev Robinson
August 2, 2013. Cover one another. Do everything within your own power to conceal grievances among yourselves. Too often brothers and sisters in Christ are the first to uncover another believer’s wrongdoing. Unfortunately many people take pride in divulging private matters in public places. Though you may see it as unimaginable, try placing yourself in the so-called perpetrators position. Scathing looks and barbed words would only heighten the matter. Rise above the fray. Be the mature one and live your life full of unending grace. Forgiveness and mercy are what I am all about.
Proverbs 11:13 (NASB) “He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets, But he who is trustworthy conceals a matter.” Kevin Robinson
August 1, 2013. It is your turn now. All you have experienced so far has been necessary preparation for this very day. What I want to hear from you is that you understand this — the old way of doing things, effective and powerful though they were, it is a new day and you are being given a new command. No one could be more qualified than you. I have made you righteous as a gift. With that gift comes all the power you will ever need. You just must cross the river before you. No one can do it for you. Go!
Joshua 1:2 (NASB) “Moses My servant is dead; now therefore arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel.” Ras Robinson
August 1, 2013. Wisdom, timing and direction are the things you need before you proceed. Don’t let what you have been told and what you have observed affect you adversely. If you respond in the wrong way, it will upset some of what you have been doing to correct a situation and it will confuse those involved. I know you would like to get this behind you, but you need to have patience and endurance. This is not going away. Deep down you don’t want it to go away. It is ongoing and can be resolved positively.
1 Peter 2:20 (NASB) “For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.” Bev Robinson
August 1, 2013. Falsehood, falsehood, falsehood. Satan is so crafty in the way he moves. He is telling you lies. You have not been shelved. Nor have you been set aside. You are having feelings of abandonment or thoughts of neglect. No one likes being overlooked . The battle takes place in your mind. Counter his attacks by diving into My word again and again for strength. Flood your spirit with the truth of who I say you are. You are of vital importance in My Kingdom. Fix your thoughts upon My overwhelming love.
John 10:10 (NKJV) “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Kevin Robinson
