What Salvation Isn’t
True believers in Christ today face a very different world than our parents and grandparents did in their day.
First and foremost, we face a very hostile environment in our choice of serving The LORD according to total obedience in The Bible.
Today it will cost something to serve The LORD. Having faith in Christ we must have total faith in HIS Word, the Holy Bible.
The whole Bible is full of evidence, in what God expects. The Word of God has every answer we will ever need to navigate through this life. But the first thing we must understand and be equipped to do is, we cannot put faith in no one!
Neither can we put faith or trust in any religion, denomination, a particular teaching, a prominent teacher, prophet, preacher, pastor, a particular movement, or group. Especially if they teach or preach things that go against God’s Word!
We must also realize that we cannot put faith or trust in what grandma said or even our very mother as we hang on to her apron strings.
We must realize that being unequally yoked with unbelievers not only applies in marriage but also in family and any relationships or friendships.
“But He answered them, saying, “Who is My mother, or My brothers?” And He looked around in a circle at those who sat about Him, and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.” Mark 3:33-35 NKJV.
We as believers in Christ Jesus must remember to be one with him is to walk with him. Does Jesus walk with homosexuals and hang out with them and participate with them?
If we say we are a believer and we are around those who practice sin, we must reprove them. That word reprove means to expose them. To those who have the spiritual knowledge in a situation must speak truth.
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” Ephesians 5:11-14 NKJV.
I believe Jesus will go to anyone who cries out to him in sincerity, but repentance demands turning away from sin or being accountable to another until you are delivered from those spirits and tendencies.
“Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.” 1 Corinthians 15:33-34 NKJV.
Beloved, I must tell you the truth, you must wake up from believing lies and deceiving yourselves! I must warn you if you are thinking you are ready to walk through the pearly gates and you have blatant sin in your life, you are sadly mistaken!
I must say you cannot come to the altar and get saved then live anyway you want thinking you are getting fire insurance from hell’s flames! Hell is real, and it is hot, and you can’t get out!
Beloved, I must tell you the truth! You must wake up from believing lies and deceiving yourselves.
A true Biblical conversion experience of a new believer will produce proof or fruit as there will be evidence to our faith. Faith without works is dead.
Something that is alive is fed, isn’t it? Something that is alive grows and soon there’s evidence, but dead things do not grow.
Hell is a very real place created by God for Satan and all his followers. He hates God and all of those who love God.
His desire is to take as many souls with him as possible. The evidence of hell is all around, Satan is in the news and all his acts and fruits.
No, following Christ is a daily walk, not a one-time decision that is forgotten, and it will cost everything!
Picking up our cross is our means of execution; it is how we put to death the deeds of the flesh and live for God.
I do not apologize for what I write or what I must say according to God’s Will. I would rather serve God than man, and I have come to know him, and he is truly a friend that is closer than a brother! I love Jesus with my whole heart, and I know he is with me and he is my true family.
If you have doubts today about your souls’ condition and as your read this, it isn’t too late for you, please get before God and repent and turn away from sin so you may truly live for him throughout all eternity.
In Jesus’ Name.

Preaching the Truth in love and being in truth and in spirit is required of us.
Even if all walk away from us!
Pulling out these words you spoke:
“No, following Christ is a daily walk, not a one-time decision that is forgotten, and it will cost everything!”
The cost is well worth the price. I do not want to gain the whole world and lose my very soul!
Peoples very souls will be required at our hands if we dont be true watchmen and warn in love.
God bless you sis, joyce
Hi Sherry,
Thanks for this word.
I wanted to know if I was correct regarding what this part below means:
“being accountable to another until you are delivered from those spirits and tendencies.”
Do you mean that we have to keep seeking deliverance (before God)/confess the sins we are still struggling with until He delivers us?
Blessings
Dear Ich,
My conviction in rightly dividing the word of truth and in knowing God’s Word has given me the boldness to confront those who “call” themselves a believer and live anyway they want. Jesus aways went where the people were, but he did not partake in their sin. 1Cor5:9 to Him, “Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth.” 21 Looking at him, Jesus showed love to him and said to him, “One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22 But he [a]was deeply dismayed by [b]these words, and he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.23 And Jesus, looking around, *said to His disciples, “How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus responded again and *said to them, . This life in Christ is a life of giving up and serving and there are too many scriptures to post.
Where did Jesus reprove / expose tax collectors and other sinners when he hung out with them?
