What Manner of Man is HE?
HE calms the winds and walks on the sea.
The One Who loves like a burning fire.
Those who obey HIM and call HIM Messiah.
What manner of Man is HE?
The One Who spoke and Light came to be.
He came to reveal the Kingdom of Light,
Breaking through the darkness with power and might.
What manner of Man is HE?
The One Who hung on Calvary’s tree.
To free mankind from the effects of sin,
No longer bound by the darkness within.
What manner of Man is HE?
Willingly shedding HIS Blood for me.
HIS life was given as a ransom price,
For the demands of Righteousness to be sufficed.
What manner of Man is HE?
The One Who released the Kingdom’s keys.
For the meek to inherit the earth,
As sons of God through the new birth.
What manner of Man is HE?
Who came to dwell in me.
Now, a vessel used for HIS mighty deeds,
Desiring HIM alone; HIM only to please.
