“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again,” Luke 6:38 (KJV).

What does this verse say and do you believe it is true? Let us look at it:

1. Give. The Lord wants us to give freely and to not be afraid to trust him with all our resources, Yet so many times we do not give. Even when we hear the Lord saying you should Give [a certain amount or thing] and not disobey. The lesson he wants us to learn [which He himself did fully do for us when he gave his very ALL…. HIMSELF on the Cross] is that GIVING BRINGS BLESSING.
2. AND IT WILL BE GIVEN… The Lord will GIVE IN RETURN when one gives to the Lord. This is the reason why so many do not receive because they did not give. How many times have we all received and we knew why?
3. GOOD MEASURE, PRESSED DOWN, AND SHAKEN TOGETHER. The Lord does give us so much it would be impossible for us to say just how much that much is! But yet many suffer. Why? could it be because they only want to receive and never give?
4. FOR WITH THE SAME MEASURE. If a person wants to receive GOOD MEASURE than he must give GOOD MEASURE. The reason many are hurting is they give little and keep the more.
