What is the Most Important Doctrine of The Bible?
The most important doctrine taught in The Bible is the Doctrine of Salvation.
The reason it is the most important Doctrine, is because if a person is wrong about this doctrine, he is wrong with God.
Basically there are only two teachings about Salvation, or for men to be saved, in the World today.
- Men can be saved by works or doing something to please God and be saved.
- Men cannot save themselves and must have God’s GRACE PROVISION of his Son, Jesus Christ, [the shed blood for sins that justifies men], else he be lost forever.
Lump all Religions into one place and they ALL will fall under one or the other of the two descriptions above, WORKS OR GRACE.
The Bible says: Salvation of Man was accomplished by ONE MAN, and that One Man gave his life to save man from sin.
The Bible declares that ALL MEN became sinners in Adam.
When Adam sinned in the beginning, the Word of God says all men were made sinners as a result of Adams sin [or all men became guilty sinners]. see: [I add two versions of Scripture for clarification to all, the KJV and AMP Bible]
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned,” Romans 5:12 KJV
In the Amplified Bible it reads:
“Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, so death spread to all people [no one being able to stop it or escape its power], because they all sinned.” Romans 5:12 AMP
So it is clear all men became sinners because of Adam’s sin.
Men are doing sinful things now just because they have Adam’s Nature in them which is sinful. Men are lost in Adam and sinners.
Then the Scripture in the same chapter of Romans says:
“Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” Romans 5:18-19 KJV
In the Amplified Bible it reads:
“So then as through one trespass [Adam’s sin] there resulted condemnation for all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. For just as through one man’s disobedience [his failure to hear, his carelessness] the many were made sinners, so through the obedience of the one Man the many will be made righteous and acceptable to God and brought into right standing with Him.” Romans 5:18-19 AMP
Conclusion:
All in all the World came out from their progenitor Adam. Adam sinned resulting in the condemnation of all men, for all inherited Adam’s sin nature.
In Adam, all men sin, and then as Adam — all men die.
It is then very essential to understand that in one man again all men are made acceptable to God and Saved.
That one man was of course, Jesus Christ.
Of course the Bible teaches that all who receive Christ or believe in Him — will be saved.
The Salvation is provided for all men, but not all are saved until they believe and receive Jesus’ work done for them.
It is important to know then that all men are sinners.
It is important to know then that all men are Saved by The Blood of Jesus Christ.
See Romans 5:6-10:
“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” Romans 5:6-10
Question: For whom did Jesus Die?
Answer: The ungodly sinners!
All men, before Jesus saves them, are ungodly.
The fact is, according to Scripture, Jesus justified the ungodly by shedding His Blood for their atonement.
Salvation
Men are then only saved from sin, because of Jesus’ atoning work and shed blood.
In this equation presented above, no man is saved by works.
The fact is, Works do not enter into Salvation, for Jesus IS Salvation, and Men cannot do any work, because they are all in Adam — and are all sinners. All their works are ungodly.
So there are only two ways on Earth that men claim for salvation. All religions fall into one or the other. Works or Grace in Jesus.
Now, let me finish by saying this:
Jesus did something for men that men could not do for themselves.
Please take careful read of the following verses:
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:1-4 KJV
In the Amplified Bible it says:
“Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do [that is, overcome sin and remove its penalty, its power] being weakened by the flesh [man’s nature without the Holy Spirit], God did: He sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful man as an offering for sin. And He condemned sin in the flesh [subdued it and overcame it in the person of His own Son], so that the [righteous and just] requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not live our lives in the ways of the flesh [guided by worldliness and our sinful nature], but [live our lives] in the ways of the Spirit [guided by His power].” Romans 8:1-4 AMP
And I add for clarity, Faith in Christ comes first before any works can be done.
It is very clear that what Jesus did for men was something “men could not do for themselves.”
He died for Sinners, and Justified them by his offering for sin.
In this death for sinners, Jesus undid what Adam had done in his sin. The death of sin, passed on to all men through Adam, was done away with in Christ.
The Scriptures tell us that Jesus was the “Second Adam” — sent to undo what the first Adam did.
See: 1 Corinthians 15:45-47,
“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.”
Notice:
Now, for any man to come back and say that there is still possibility that they can Work good enough to be saved, or even keep any Law perfectly to be saved is to ignore that all men are sinners helpless and unable to work any good work.
They must know that.. Jesus has already justified all men by His Sacrifice and Blood. He has done the work for all sinners already by His death for sin.
So again, there are only two ways to salvation preached on Earth.
One is Works — the other is Jesus by Faith in His finished work for all sinners.
Which one are you trusting in?
Are you trusting Jesus Christ and His work for you — or are you trusting in your ability to save yourself by doing good works?
If the answer is works…. You are lost!
By what authority? The Bible!

I WOULD SAY THE DOCTRINE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS THE MOST IMPORTANT.
THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION IS WHAT WHAT WARTERED DOWN THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM. JESUS CAME PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM AND DENT HID DICIPLES OUT DOING THE SAME.
This was very clear and concise teaching on salvation. I will bookmark this and use it and send it on to others. Thank you for presenting such a clear roadmap for salvation.
…As a “matter of fact” THAT’S the TRUTH man of God. Lest any man should boast. Eph.2:8-9
Thank You Jesus Christ. Love you my Lord.
Bro. Ken, you couldn’t have said it any plainer.
Whoopee, the Word line upon line, precept upon precept.
Thank you. God bless to you and Celeste.

Amen.
Many members of my extended family are in the works camp. They believe that if you’re a really good person, of course you will go to Heaven. I pray for their salvation!
