What Is Perfect Holiness?
3 Words in 1
What Is the Real Problem We Are Dealing With?
Are You Prepared to Play Your Role in Fixing It?
There is a certain type of person found in every nation around the world, that we like to identify in terms of his or her political views as being “liberal”.
This kind of person supports the cause of abortion, same sex marriage, pedophilia, supports the LGBT movement, is violent and destructive, fights to ban Bibles and Christianity, promotes socialism and generally hastes all things that is considered moral and “conservative” in nature.
The Bible calls these kind of people “children of the devil”, and maybe it is time for us to look past politics and political views and to begin identifying the forces working behind the scenes.
It’s not about black or white or brown, its not about political agendas – its all about the conditions of our hearts and who has taken ownership of us.
At the end we are servants not to a cause, but to that which controls us.
Maybe its time to wake up!
Maybe its time to consider that we have a greater enemy to fight than each other.
Maybe its important for us to realize that without Christ, “the whole world lies in wickedness”!
“Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living,” Romans 6:16.
Something to Seriously Consider
Herein lies our problem…..
On the one hand we have the “Holiness” crowd, who is focused only on holiness and make holiness their theme – they are far too serious in their quest to pay any attention to the demonstration of the holy spirit, signs, wonders or miracles.
They have no time for the “Silliness” of people falling over, weeping, laughing or screaming.
In fact they may even brand these kind of things as “Empty Fanaticism” and void of godliness – they are focused on what really matters – holiness, walking in truth, the inner life, spiritual growth, dedication and sanctification.
Now please note that I am not saying that there aren’t a vast amount of these “Manifestations” that are man-made, and in fact abused, having little to do with God! In the same light it is important to know that not all are void of God and His presence!
On the other hand we have the “Supernatural” bunch, who are focused and dedicated to the “Manifestations” of God’s power and are eagerly pursuing signs, wonders and miracles, the fire of God and the outpouring and infilling of His Spirit.
Most of them pay little attention to the “Deeper disciplines” that brings inner growth and the sanctification of the inner man, being changed and growing into spiritual maturity –
With starry eyes, they are only care to be consumed with “Wonderful jesus!”
They have no time for that “Over-serious” holiness crowd who want to “Complicate” the gospel and make it so difficult and hard to know god and to become mature.
Both love God equally – the problem is that either is wrong and incomplete without the other!
Why?
Because either is fixated upon a facet of christ, that to their mind, has become the totality of christ for them – and neither of these are!
It is 100% Christ the Holy Spirit, who is constantly at work in us to transform us and guide us into being changed daily into a life of holiness, and causing us to continuously look into his glory, being changed into what we see, as we are –
And it is 100% Christ the Holy Spirit, who is the miracle worker with signs, wonders and miracles, rapturing us into His Glory and being, to experience the manifested wonder of his presence, drawing us into that state of walking in the glorious realms of the supernatural.
Neither can be denied or neglected, and without one, the other is lopsided and unbalanced.
We need to embrace Christ as he is, who he is and in the totality of the Holy Spirit and his work in us, if we are to become a people molded, governed, matured, led and guided into the ways and the paths of the heart of the father.
Selah….. (Think about this spirit-spoken truth and wisdom and contemplate it carefully)
What Is Perfect Holiness? – “Being Separated”
(or Living a Fully Unified Life With God…..)
Holiness is living a life where you yield yourself fully to God to Inspire, guide and teach you BY HIS SPIRIT.
It is a life wherein you no longer hold your own opinions or reservations, but where the Holy Spirit has full access and full control to lead you in a day to day, moment by moment, Revelation of God, Revealing more and more of God, His Character, Nature, His Personality and His will and Ways in you.
Holiness is never achieved as in being an exam successfully completed.
It is a daily walk and a progressive unfolding of God’s Life and will in us (2 Corinthians 7:1).
We continue to live a life of holiness as we daily yield in obedience (or yielded surrender) to be changed and guided by the Holy Spirit into His will.
This is why no one will see the LORD (Hebrews 14:12) without holiness, because without holiness, we lack living in the CONTINUED Union and fellowship with God that separates us unto Himself and from the world, and we lack His Authority and Lordship in our lives, in yielding ourselves to being led and governed by His Spirit, to walk in His expressed will.
Perfecting holiness is a daily occurrence and journey with the Holy Spirit, as He continues to reveal Himself in us, and expresses Himself through us and our daily lives.
“‘Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself (you are no longer your own, you are now living under the government of the holy spirit (set apart – or sanctified – to obey) who lives in you,” 1 Corinthians 6:19.
