What Is a Life and What Is It Worth to You?
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.” Isaiah 53:5-8.
“Of what price would you put upon a human life?
Of what price would there be for a child’s life?
Of what price would there be for an elderly person?
And yet My Son paid the greatest price of all. His Life was given for you.
This week as you celebrate the Death and Resurrection of My Son, remember these things!
What person among you would give up his life for someone else?
What person among you would sacrifice their life?
You may give up your time or even your resources for someone else, but are you willing to even die someone?
It is easy to bypass the suffering and the pain perhaps, because most of you think of the benefits that My Son has given to you.
Most people don’t want to dwell upon the suffering that He went through. This was a horrific thing, and yet without it happening, your lives would not have been given eternal life.
You would want all of the promises that have been given to you from my Son, and yet they would not have been possible without His Death and Resurrection.
When the time comes for you to suffer, will you be willing to give your life?
Life is a precious thing and yet the promise of eternal life is much more important. What is everlasting outweighs the momentary life that you are now experiencing.
Consider these things when you go about your everyday lives. Consider the price that my Son paid for you. What is a life and what is it worth to you?”
Selah,

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
