What is a cult?

A Cult is a maze of religious beliefs that are extra Biblical. In reality a Cult is a mixture … a maze mixture.

A mixture of [Some Truth] and then [Some Error]. In the Mixing of truths plus error the most significant of all false teaching is..

The twisting of Bible Salvation which distorts the way to be saved.

Mostly it is a works religion.

The Mormon Religion is one of the best examples of a maze or mixture… The LDS [Latter Day Saints] use all the major Bible Words — but in their use of Bible language, they have changed the meanings of words [not teaching orthodox Bible Beliefs].

• Faith is not Faith
• Grace is not Grace
• Jesus is not Jesus
• God is not God
• Bible is not Bible
• Baptism is not Baptism
• Saved is not Saved
• Born Again is not Born Again
• Gospel is not Gospel
• Heaven is not Heaven
• Hell is not Hell
  etc.

The Mormon Cult is a very good example of just how bad one can twist the true meaning of The Bible Message.

Any religion that teaches works to be saved and become acceptable to God, then turns and teaches Grace by Faith is a cult.

If Religion teaches men another gospel message other then the Bible Gospel Message of the Grace of God, that religion will send souls to Hell Fire forever.

They do not shine bright but are dark spots on the road to Hell.

Scripture:

“For [you seem willing to allow it] if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted. You tolerate all this beautifully [welcoming the deception],” 2 Corinthians 11:4.

“For such men are counterfeit apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, since Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. So it is no great surprise if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, but their end will correspond with their deeds,” 2 Corinthians 11:13-15.

“I am astonished and extremely irritated that you are so quickly shifting your allegiance and deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different [even contrary] gospel; which is really not another [gospel]; but there are [obviously] some [people masquerading as teachers] who are disturbing and confusing you [with a misleading, counterfeit teaching] and want to distort the gospel of Christ [twisting it into something which it absolutely is not]. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we [originally] preached to you, let him be condemned to destruction! As we have said before, so I now say again, if anyone is preaching to you a gospel different from that which you received [from us], let him be condemned to destruction!” Galatians 1:6-9.
