What if LOVE is hard to find?
Yes, what if love is hard to find in this season of Christmas?
Well, I believe we have to consider the source of why we are having trouble. I know from experience the devil likes to bring up unhappy painful experiences, times of sadness, maybe missing family or close friends. Maybe its a recent divorce or having to see and spend time in the company of someone you have bitter feelings toward. It can drive you clean away from even wanting to celebrate Christmas at all.
Please know that many people have these feelings at Christmas, from one degree to another. The enemy would have you turn inward to look at all the disappointments and hurt.
But my friend, this time that we have to look upon and celebrate the birth of Jesus is a blessed time, it is a holy time. And, if we will look to the source of love who is within us, we will find courage to go beyond ourselves to display His love to others. If others do not see His love in us, how will they want to know Him.
I pray for you this Christmas, that you will cast your cares upon the Lord for He cares for you, and take His yoke upon you that is light and easy. Love is a choice, it’s time to go beyond, remembering the love He displayed for you on the cross, for He is love, and He will help you to rise and show others that love.
Ask Him for the love to forgive, ask Him to mend what has been broken, and let healing come.
Go the extra mile, and watch what God will do.
Don’t let the old devil win, choose Jesus, choose love, choose to believe that God will change things!
Blessings to you beloved! And may this time be overflowing with the love of Jesus!
“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
We love him, because he first loved us.
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also,” 1 John 4:16-21 (KJV).
The Lord says today…….
“Know My children the things I ask of you are not always easy, but the harder they are the more the reward.
Just trust in Me and I will bring my will about. You don’t have to come up with feelings, just trust in Me for I AM love.”
