What Has Happened to the Land I Live in?
Oftentimes, I find myself thinking and reflecting upon the many voices that have talked about these things.
For with the turmoil and sudden upheaval with this election, people have been wondering what we may face in the coming days, months, and years. There is now such a rift between many that our very land is divided.
Many seem to think that bright and wonderful days are ahead because now, everything will be made great for us as a nation. Somehow, this change will bring about a golden age for America. And yet, I like many of you, wonder about those who live on a fixed income, particularly ones whose only hope is Medicare, Medicaid, or social security.
And then there are those of us who believe in Christ and are now living this new life in Him. I find that there is no much disunity among us as a people. There is so much dissension because some have placed in their hope in a man who would lead this country to a place of promise and restoration.
Somehow the flag of patriotism has replaced their first love. Any allegiance to one another has now been replaced by a dogged-bull-headed stance on following after a man. And it has gotten to the point where very little dialogue can happen between each other. And if we even question these things, we are met with intense anger and wrath.
Why would anyone even question these things, it is God who has given us now a great promise?
There seems to be two camps now that exist within the land and actually, across the globe.
There are those who are so steeped in their allegiance to this man, and the others, question what is going on, and sense that God is up to something. And some would ask, “What is God up to; He chose this person to make everything great again. He is God’s chosen vessel, just like Joseph or Daniel were chosen during their time.”
And yet, we well know that God can do anything of course; He enabled a donkey to speak for him during the time of Baalam.
But are we destined for greatness when our land is so divided? Are we destined for greatness when we have not repented for the many sins that continue in our land? End time prophecy tells us that the elite of the world will bring about their plan for world consolidation and unification.
And now this group is coming into the very cabinet of this new administration. The swamp is not going to be drained but actually, just the opposite is happening. What has happened to our discernment? Have we given up on it, for the sake of promises that will never be kept?
“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast,“ Revelation 13:11-12.
This is all part of a false theology which finds its culmination in the terms of The Seven Mountains, which make up:
- Arts and entertainment.
- Business.
- Education.
- Family.
- Government.
- Media.
- Religion.
To do their conquering, representatives of this theology must be placed in power in each of the categories. And so, through this theology, the world as we see it, will be transformed through the evangelism and empowerment of men and women working in and through these categories upon the earth.
It’s simply not a scriptural truth that this world will be “cleaned-up” through the authority of governing apostles. We look forward to new heavens and a new earth. We know that as we approach the time of Christ’s second coming that the world will become a darker and darker place.
We can’t change prophecy. We can evangelize and do what we can in our own corners of the earth to bring many into the kingdom, but much of this world is under the prince of power of the air. And while we have victory over him and his fallen ones, he still has the freedom to deceive and bring havoc upon many.
The Bible clearly states that in the end that Satan will rule the world and will cause all great and small to take the mark of the beast and worship him. A remnant will be saved out of great persecution I believe, and will endure to the end, and then will be taken out.
We are told through this teaching, that a great harvest of souls awaits, redeeming the entire globe to God. With this notion, heaven is then invading earth, and a golden age is set up.
What they don’t realize is that the stage is then being set up for the Antichrist. Actually, all hell is being released, instead of heaven coming to earth. Then after a peace treaty that the Antichrist sets up, and then comes the end, and the return of the true Christ.
What many in the group fail to recognize is that they can’t control the entire state of affairs in this world. All of culture and society can’t be redeemed, until Christ returns.
I’m not saying that we don’t get involved in these different facets of society, but we can’t expect that our anointing, our wisdom, or governance, or anything, can cause this to happen on a global scale.
We are called to be salt in this world, not the entire seven-course meal.
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape,” 1 Thessalonians 5:3.
Selah,

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
