“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall He not make it good?
Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and He hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it,” Numbers 23:19-20.

In the desert The LORD said to me [after I walked my own way for some 10 years and did not serve The LORD as I was called to serve him…]

I said to The LORD: “Surely you don’t still want me to do that now, after all I have done?”

The LORD said to me: “Am I a man? Do you think I AM like men? Do you think I should repent for calling you now?

That is what men would do, or even have done, to you (thinking you surely could never use me again, because of my sin(s))” No!” He said. “I AM not like men who change their minds.

I have called you. I have blessed you… Now…

I cannot reverse it. [I cannot change my call, for I AM that I AM, and I cannot change].”

This morning I am reminded of this and The LORD is asking again, “Am I a man that I should lie?”

Let me ask you then [friend that is reading this]…

What has God said to you to do?

Have you done it?

Do you think he still wants you to do it?

The answer is yes!

You must still do as He has said, else He will just wait for you to do it. The LORD will work it in your life around till you do it.

So again: What is it you are supposed to do?

The LORD will never change His mind.
