Many are evidently having trouble understanding what God will do if a Child of God Sins after being saved by Grace.

Let me bypass saying any more in introduction but go immediately to Scripture teaching about this subject.

FIRST- God will CHASTEN the Child of God who sins.

Please note the following Scripture Teaching that teach us that ALL CHILDREN OF GOD who are saved will be chastened. The reason why IS all are Chastened who are Saved is because: ALL FALL SHORT OF WHAT GOD WANTS THEM TO BE. It is clear that in order to be saved in the first place, NO PERSON WAS ABLE BECAUSE HE WAS A SINNER AND CAME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD, than it ought to be clear that “IN SALVATION” NO PERSON CONTINUES TO BE PERFECT “IN HIS BODY”.

***((( It is a known fact by all that God IS ON THE INSIDE and the Spirit is created Holy, but what all do not understand is that the BODY IS NOT YET SAVED and must be CHANGED.)))***

All evidently are saved by Grace, but, All need MORE WORK from God to aid us in growing up into the Lord because in their body dwells yet sin. This process of Growing Up is referred to in Doctrine of the Word of God as SANCTIFICATION. All who are initially saved MUST GROW UP INTO ALL THINGS. A person who is just saved is POSITIONALLY SAVED IN SPIRIT AND GIVEN ETERNAL LIFE (A BABY NEWBORN) and than he will begin to undergo the WORK OF CONFORMING HIS BODY INTO A PERFECT MAN. This Perfect Man work is the WORK OF SANCTIFICATION. All Christians are IN NEED OF IT because ALL CHRISTIANS HAVE A BODY THAT IS IN DIRE NEED OF MUCH WORK. Now consider these verses from Hebrews:

Hebrews 12:5-13
“⁵ And have you [completely] forgotten the divine word of appeal and encouragement in which you are reasoned with and addressed as sons? My son, do not think lightly or scorn to submit to the correction and discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage and give up and faint when you are reproved or corrected by Him; ⁶ For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.
⁷ You must submit to and endure [correction] for discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons. For what son is there whom his father does not [thus] train and correct and discipline?
⁸ Now if you are exempt from correction and left without discipline in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate offspring and not true sons [at all].
⁹ Moreover, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we yielded [to them] and respected [them for training us]. Shall we not much more cheerfully submit to the Father of spirits and so [truly] live?
¹⁰ For [our earthly fathers] disciplined us for only a short period of time and chastised us as seemed proper and good to them; but He disciplines us for our certain good, that we may become sharers in His own holiness.
¹¹ For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in righteousness — in conformity to God’s will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God].
¹² So then, brace up and reinvigorate and set right your slackened and weakened and drooping hands and strengthen your feeble and palsied and tottering knees,
¹³ And cut through and make firm and plain and smooth, straight paths for your feet [yes, make them safe and upright and happy paths that go in the right direction], so that the lame and halting [limbs] may not be put out of joint, but rather may be cured.”

It should be FIRST NOTED that God deals with us AS WITH SONS (see verse 7 above). Every Son whom the Lord accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes THE LORD CHASTENS. Chastens means to CORRECT AND DISCIPLINE. All who are saved share in this God Work for them and it is in this work that TRUE SONS OF GOD ARE SHAPED BY HIS MIGHTY HAND.

All Children of God must SUBMIT CHEERFULLY TO THIS CORRECTION AND DISCIPLINE. In a very real way, even as we did respect parents who did correct and discipline us (if you had good parents), than we KNOW GOD LOVES US BECAUSE HE IS DOING A WORK IN US. When we feel his hand upon us we REJOICE KNOWING WE ARE HIS. But you see if a person can live and just do anything he wants to do THAT PERSON IS NOT A REAL CHILD OF GOD… HE IS A BASTARD or an ILLEGITIMATE SON. Many who are saying they are children of God are really not, because they LIVE A VERY UNCORRECTED LIFE proving they are ONLY PROFESSORS. If they were truly saved than GOD’S HAND WOULD BE ON THEM TOO. We should never wonder about a person who can just live anyway he/she wants to, yet get by with it and is not experiencing God’s Hand of correction.

Let me repeat verse 11 and show you clearly this meaning of Chastisement how it will bring JOY TO THE TRUE CHILD OF GOD: “For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in righteousness — in conformity to God’s will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God].” NOTE THE JOY IT BRINGS. A joy of just knowing that God loves you and will not let you live any which way AND WILL NOT THROW YOU AWAY. Than notice how there will be a TIME OF HARVEST FRUIT IN THE CHILD OF GOD’S LIFE and that fruit will be RIGHTEOUSNESS and will conform to God’s WILL AND PURPOSE, THOUGHT AND ACTION. This will result in RIGHT LIVING AND RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD.

Than we must see that INSTEAD OF GOD THROWING AWAY THE CHILD HE CHASTENS THE CHILD. He has promised to NEVER THROW US AWAY, NOR WILL HE EVER LEAVE US. Many are saying God will JUST THROUGH US AWAY or let us WALK AWAY when we fall short of His desire for us. Well let us CONSIDER AGAIN that GOD WILL NOT LET US LIVE ANYWAY WE WANT… HE WILL COME TO US AND CORRECT US. He will TREAT US AS SONS/DAUGHTERS AND WILL NEVER LET US GO TO HELL.

It is not SCRIPTURAL AND UNNECESSARY FOR MEN TO THINK SO QUICKLY… to say that God will THROW AWAY HIS CHILDREN WHEN THEY SIN OR HE WILL CAST THEM INTO HELL. It is very difficult to even understand how anyone could even get such a twisted idea about God as to TREAT HIS CHILDREN LIKE THAT AND THROW THEM INTO HELL. GOD IS GOOD AND IS NOT WILLING THAT ANY PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. He did much more for them than just SET THEM AN EXAMPLE ON HOW TO LIVE, He did die for their sins and has SAVED THEM BY GRACE. Now He will WORK WITH THEM AS SONS/DAUGHTERS and they will be ETERNALLY HIS.
