Every day here at the DPM-USA office, we receive testimonies about the continuing impact of the Bible-based teaching of Derek Prince. Those daily reports could fit perfectly under the heading, “What God’s Word Is Doing In Me!” That is just one reason we are so glad to be presenting this six-part Teaching Legacy Letter series called “What God’s Word Will Do For You.” My guess is that you could easily add your own personal testimony to the ones we have already received.

This series by Derek comes out of his deep love for the Word of God. Throughout his life and ministry, Derek was constantly expressing his esteem and amazement for the Scriptures. Take, for example, his exclamation in this month’s segment:

Consider how wonderful God’s Word is! Not only is it the seed that produces the new birth — it is also the food that nourishes the life that springs forth in us . . . ideally suited to each successive stage of our spiritual growth.

Derek’s quote gives you a hint of the theme of this month’s teaching: “Solid food is for the mature” (Hebrews 5:14). Regarding that self-evident truth, Derek focuses on a pivotal factor that must be a part of the spiritual maturity process for each of us. You won’t want to miss the important point he makes in that regard.
