What Does a Visitation of God Mean?

You have to understand what it means when the Word becomes “flesh.” When God gives Living utterances through a man’s lips and His consuming Words is released, to be mingled with His Living Presence to burn in the hearts of men like lava and to consume them with His Love like dry grass in fire.

You have to understand what it means when His Presence comes to embrace His Word. When He comes to work in His Spirit’s Manifested Person and Presence so that it seems as though men and women would melt because of His Living Presence, being so overwhelmingly Real that it seems that it would simply melt them away into Himself.

When miracles happen as they are commanded, like a sergeant-major commands his troops to fall in line and they obey in an instant in perfect sync with his words.

You have to realise what happens when God comes to speak and to work in Person in the midst of His people!

The Answers to the Problems

The answers to the problems which you face today are no more received instantly, than the time they took to develop in your life.

Every problem that is bearing fruit today, has a root of origin that has grown to maturity, to produce the tree that you are now eating from.

People seek instant answers and hope that a prayer or even a submission to God will instantly solve their problems.

Miracles do happen yes! The tree, however, will have to be cut down, roots and all, in order for the issue to be resolved and for something new to be able to be planted to grow in its place.

Seek to find the roots, before you seek to change the fruits.

Ask God to take you back to the point where everything changed for you, and in your life, and allow His restoring work in your life to begin there.

For that is the true place of repentance and the beginning of the restoration of your life in Him.

When a Man is Full of God

When a man is full of God, he has need of little else and desires even less from this world to satisfy his soul.

We are either satisfied with God or hungry for other things. We are either drinking deeply into His Spirit – or constantly yearning for the things that glitter and are considered as gold in this world.

What is the deepest cry within your inner-man?

It will be things which satisfy and please your eye as you go through this world – Either Spiritual or carnal.

The things you speak about, dream about and desire to possess.

Are you gazing into the God of Heaven, or into the ‘god of this world’?
