What Do You Require of Me, LORD?
“What Do You Require of Me, LORD?” That may be a weighty question, to some. It is easily answered in the Word of God.
I feel like starting here today and letting The LORD put all this together to your heart.
“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth The LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” Micah 6:8.
Simplicity is the key. Some of my favorite scriptures again are in Matthew 11:28-30,
“Come unto M e, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take My Yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I AM Meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My Yoke is easy, and My Burden is light.”
We must be born-again into The Kingdom of God. That is first and foremost!
“Jesus answered, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of The Spirit, he cannot enter into The Kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.”“ John 3:5-8.
Then we must know that instructions are a way of life. Let’s be pliable and receive corrections from the great I AM that I AM.
“For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.” Proverbs 6:23.
You don’t think I receive correction at the hands of a loving Father? Oh my, I certainly do!
Glad I’m a child of the King. The Father loves us, that is why He corrects us. You see I, as many of you, have a great passion for souls. Still sometimes I may get to giving out more one place than another to try to help people.
e.g. Through the night The LORD corrected my ‘focus’ with the Prison Ministry, He gave me.
It is Not Our Time we are on — but His!
So I must dig deep to try to help some inmates this day. Right now I am down to 10 to write. I can often use the same Bible Studies with each one and copy and paste.
Many I used to visit in person in 2006 and 2007. For several months now, I have been able to communicate online to them. It’s a very different way to minister, but thank God for it.
So many are neglected in the prisons today. It is, I guess, been my hardest assignment. Still what a blessing!
Whatever your Calling is, just be faithful. Pray to stay on tract and be led by the Spirit of God.
Every Calling to us as Christians is important. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
Someone needs what we got to offer! Even the Body of Christ often needs encouragement. Let’s be faithful till the very end. One thing at a time and let’s do it with our whole heart as unto The LORD.
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to The LORD, and not unto men; knowing that of The LORD ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve.” Colossians 3:23-24.
God bless you all.
“For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.” Matthew 25:35-36.

My name is Joyce D. McGuire, called to work in and for the Kingdom of God! To lead we must try to follow Jesus Christ closely. That is my heart. I am a Chaplain in the prisons; prophetic intercessor by His grace, author, and a Mother in the Kingdom of God. To many I am simply Mama Joyce. Some favorite verses of mine are Matthew 11:28-30.
