What Do YOU Dream Of?
When I Dream, I Dream of …
Questions….
What defines you?
What motivates you?
What drives you?
Are you living and dreaming out of the Father’s heart?
Is what motivates you a living part of His purpose for you?
Purpose is why we are here. Destiny is how we get there if we seek God to take us there.
Are your dreams lined up with your purpose?
Do they serve your destiny, as a part of the journey to bring you into all the Father destined you to become?
Or are your dreams diverting you from the very purpose that should actually be flooding your heart to bring God glory through your life?
A Simple Test
What if you got your dreams?
Would you be willing to lay them down if God asked you to let them all go again and to follow only Him? (Genesis 22:2).
If what you dream of, lives in God as a living part of your destiny, you will live free from any attachment to them.
You will be able to use them without the need to possess them! For you will be possessed by Him and flooded with His will for you only.
Be careful then what dream-seeds you allow to enter your heart, make sure they are His dream-seeds in you, so that you may enjoy a peaceful sleep at night, a life fulfilled with His plan for you, and a life at peace with your purpose.
Never be distracted by the things of this natural world, never allow them to become the idols you so desperately seek that you will be prepared to become a slave of this world, giving your life in service to obtain them.
Never allow the standards of the world, proclaimed to be what “success” is, define you or intimidate you – live your purpose!
What you need and should have, God will bring to you, allow Him to, and in doing so, you will have the joy of sharing it with Him when He does.
I have a unique life-journey in Him, that has led me both into a season of serving Him in seasons of ministry and business – both were equally important for what I am doing today and about to release.
Both were necessary to bring me to the fullness of the maturity in my purpose. Both were a part of my destiny and journey to my complete and to fulfill my purpose.
In these times and seasons there were also times where I had nothing (and by it I mean nothing!), where my family and I had to walk with our feet, sleep on the floor and eat from a daily budget of R20 (around $1.20), with hearts overflowing with His Love, because we were serving His purpose for us, and knowing that what we were going through was a part of our journey of destiny towards it.
There were also times of extreme wealth and overflow, where we had nothing except the best to our disposal – here’s the thing, we never took ownership of the good times and neither of the tough times – we lived free from everything except to follow along our journey in following Him in the pursuit of fulfilling the purpose of His heart for our lives!
It was a privilege to share in the good times and a joyful sacrifice when we needed to set free what no longer served His purpose in our lives also! (ref picture attached).
God is more than you will ever need.
Allow Him to fill you completely and you will never need more than His allocated portion for your life!
“For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure,” Philippians 2:13.
