What Can You Give? What Can You Receive?
What can I give unto The LORD, for all He has done for me?
I’ll take the gift of salvation and call upon the Name of The LORD.
What can I receive from The LORD, for all He has done for Me?
I’ll receive the Gifts of the Spirit that come with Salvation, and call upon the Name of The LORD.
What can I do for The LORD for all He has done for me?
I will give my heart and my life to obedience to The LORD’s Voice, and call upon the Name of The LORD.
What can I yield to The LORD for all He has done for me?
I will yield in the Spirit without question when He speaks to me, and continue to call upon the Name of The LORD.
Everyone who has come to The LORD Jesus Christ has an inner desire to serve Him in some way.
There is always a battle from the adversary who makes every effort to not only stand in the way, but openly causes battles to develop against you to try to render you ineffective in you obedience, as well as attack you when and where you have been the most vulnerable.
When are you the most vulnerable? When there is a lack of knowledge concerning who you are in Christ.
A new christian is precisely just as the word means: new….
- Underdeveloped in knowledge of the Word of God,
- Underdeveloped in the working of The Holy Spirit.
- Underdeveloped when it comes to submission to leadership.
- Underdeveloped in hearing The LORD’s Voice clearly.
Certainly, when a person is new to The Kingdom of God, he is transformed into the image of Christ based on his new-found faith in salvation. He has passed from death to life, from the kingdom of darkness into The Light of Redemption in Christ Jesus.
He will learn that “you are of God, little children, and that evil one touches you not, for greater is He that is in you that he that is in the world”!
The Spirit of The LORD makes this Word “Rhema.” by causing it to come alive experientially.
The new believer will experience over the course of time very real encounters with God-ordained, crossing of paths with believers that will sharpen their senses in the Spirit of what God is doing in their lives. As the Word says; ‘iron sharpens iron’….
He will begin to learn what it means to do spiritual warfare. Over time he begins to apply the whole armor of God, and after having done all, to stand against all the wiles of the adversary.
He will learn to “cast down imaginations, and every evil thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God; bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
He will begin to learn what it means to seek The LORD with his whole heart. As Jesus said. “I will be found by you when you seek Me and search for Me with your whole heart.”
He will learn what Jesus means when He says; “If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you. Herein shall you bear much fruit and so shall you be My disciples.”
He will begin to see that “The testimony of Jesus Christ is the Spirit of Prophecy.” For the Spirit of Prophecy is precisely Who has been leading the believer from the Time of Salvation.
For Jesus said “the Spirit will testify of all things, for He testifies of Me.” “Everything that The Father has is Mine. And The Holy Spirit will take from Mine, and show it unto you.”
The more you give yourself to Him, the more He gives of Himself.
“Call upon Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things that you don’t know.;” says The LORD.
You will receive more of Him.
