Weary and Tired — Let It Go!
5 Words in 1
Get up In Jesus’ Name!
Hey all you awesome people 🙋♀️ 🙋♀️
I know you want to give up. I know you have had enough of feeling bad all the time. I know you feel like you reached the end of the rope and hanging on by a thread.
I know sometimes it’s all too much for you. I know you don’t want to suffer anymore.
Always remember that even if you feel like giving up or sitting down in this battlefield raising a flag of defeat, that is just not an option!
Remember this — you are a fighter! You are a warrior!
Listen Warriors, i want you to get back up and dust yourself off. I want you to wash your face and pick up your sword.
You are almost there! No matter what it looks like to you right now, God and you have got this!
He has chosen you, handpicked you! You are made of grace and grit.
Set your face like flint and know this too shall pass! Know that you are passing through this valley and you refuse to stay there!
You shall not be moved! You will not stagger at the promise God has given you! You will back the enemy up in the corner!
You, dear one are turning the tables! God is flipping the script!
To you dear Warrior, sitting in the battlefield feeling weary, I say “Get up In Jesus’ Name!” for you are stronger than you think!
Dear Warrior, who is sitting in the middle of family distress or prodigal children, I say, “Get up In Jesus’ Name!” and take authority over this thing and call those children home, call that marriage to rise up from the ruins, call that healing to come forth like a Mighty rushing wind.
Call that peace to still your storm!
Send that fiery arrow of the enemy back to hell! Kick that devil to the curb and let him know the doorposts or your home is covered by the blood.
You will not back down! You will not compromise! You will not accept this as your norm!
You will push, you will press, you will wrestle, you will hold the line, you will stay in position, you will not give up!
You may be walking through hell, but you walk through as if you own the place!
Mighty Warriors of The Most High, catch your breath, breathe in that second wind that is blowing upon you right now, get up and keep moving!
Fear God!
Fear God!
Holy Spirit come! Burn like a Fire! Blow like the wind!
A Row of Oak Trees
The woodland oak grows with other trees. It grows straight and high, because it reaches towards the light!
“And on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell will not prevail.” Matthew 16:18.
I see a row of oak trees still standing tall.
They may have been bent in their branches from time to time, but always bounced back.
Those oak trees are overcomers. They have been growing in the hardest of places, perched upon an exposed cliff, overlooking stormy seas and covered by a dark mountain range.
These oaks have weathered many storms and yet continues to thrive in this treacherous landscape. The strength God has given to them is priceless!
You dear ones are that row of trees I see. You shall not be overcome, but you shall stand!
God crowns the defeated, the broken-hearted, wounded captives with His glory and makes them oaks of righteousness!
Be Not Afraid!
It Is I!
Be Not Afraid! I will never let you go!
Weary and Tired
She is weary and tired!
Everything aches, her hands, her feet, her neck, her back — all because of the baggage that she is carrying.
She honestly can’t remember a time that she ever stopped carrying all this, it just seems to be adding up to so much more.
It’s only getting heavier, how much longer can she do this. She starts walking just a little farther down the road and sees a landfill.
She knows that this is the time. This is the moment! She has to let go. Something is beckoning her to let it go right here and right now.
She drags all this junk just a little bit closer to throwing it on a heap of ash and leaving it there. She hesitates if she can really do this, what would it feel like to actually be free.
Then she hears a voice say, “Give it all to Me! Today is your day of freedom! Let it go!”
With tear filled eyes, she begins to throw all this baggage on this pile of ash. She could feel such freedom that had never been felt before.
Once it was all gone, she stood free from the junk that held her down for way too long. She stood in Freedom for whom the Son sets free is free indeed!
“I AM telling you — Let it go!
Let go of your rage! Let go of your childhood trauma, let go of your brokenness, let go of that shame and regrets, let go of all that condemnation, let go of the fear, let go of your insecurities, let go of the pride and bitterness, let go of the unforgiveness and stubbornness, LET IT GO!
Whatever the baggage you carry. Let it go!
Throw it on that pile of ashes and leave it. You got up from those ashes and you are not going back to them.
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest!”
His shoulder is so much more stronger than ours!
