“But jesus held his peace, and the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living god, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the son of god. jesus saith unto him, thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, hereafter shall ye see the son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven” Matthew 26:63-64.
Beloved, today is the second time in several days that I have opened the Bible to the same passage of scripture. Then I followed the references:
“The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head,” Psalm 110:1-7 (KJV).
“I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of Man came with the clouds of Heaven, and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. And there was given Him dominion, and Glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed,” Daniel 7:13-14 (KJV).
In the light of all that is going on, the debauchery, the lewdness, the very evil spewing forth into plain view from the enemy and his people…. Do not lose sight of your God.
We must hold our gaze firm upon the One who has given his very life for us, for His eminent return, and His heavenly Kingdom that is coming.
He, the Son of God, is at this very moment sitting at the right hand of the Father, The Almighty, interceding for you that you would not lose faith, grow weary, and faint, because of what you are seeing and hearing.
Don’t forget the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. He comes to steal your joy in the LORD, bringing sadness and depression, to defeat and kill your hope and life in Christ. He is out for blood… But you rest in the Blood of Jesus.
Beloved, give no foothold to the devil, sever any bitterness that has arisen in you at the root.
Bitterness is a spirit of resentful cynicism that results in an intense antagonism or hostility towards others to wound or injure. This is of the world!
You cannot allow yourselves to get caught up in any of this. We are to remain separate. Use wisdom, friends, and guard your heart and mouth.
Out of the mouth proceed the issues of the heart. Bitterness has roots that go deep, that stem from anger. Hebrews 12:15 says, “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of god; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and thereby many be defiled (contaminated).” it contaminates, corrupts, and makes filthy or dirty, and many are turned to sin – It spreads to others.
Beloved, hold fast to the LORD. Keep your eyes on Him, His greatness, His power, and His love for you, for He is your defender, your everlasting hope, and He is coming to the aid of His people.
Do not be fooled! The Holy Spirit is here in this situation, and He is saying to you today. “Trust Me. Hold fast to Me and My promises and commands that you have, until I come. Stand strong and I will pull you through!”
God Bless You, you are in my prayers
