Let me tell you something about My God!

He is not concerned about YOUR PAST! He came to give you an AMAZING FUTURE! (John 10:10).

Many people see our faces, but don’t know our Story. The story behind the Glory in our lives…!!

I am a miracle!

This is only PART OF MY STORY!

I witnessed horrible domestic violence as a child, watching my mother go through pain that was unbearable for me to see or discuss with anyone.

AND then I experienced domestic violence for myself.

YESSSSS, by the Grace of God and the hand of Jesus, with many attempts at My life.

I am still here. I am still shining for Jesus!

Almost choked to death, not by the man who said he loved me; not by the man who married me; not the man who used to run my bath water and pay the bills on time every month, but by the demon in him, that wanted to destroy us both!

God says, “My people must come to understand TRUE spiritual warfare.”

It’s in the good book.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places,” Ephesians 6:12.

You can’t understand spiritual warfare or teach it, until you have SURVIVED IT!

God literally spoke to me on that night, in 1998, 20 years ago, this October.

He spoke as I never heard Him speak before — after the hands that were JOINED TO MY HANDS, in holy matrimony were now wrapped around my throat — choking me!

By one who once said, “I love you!”

Yet as those same hands were now gripped around my throat, I prayed under my breath, “Lord Jesus, please let me see my child again!”

After 4 pregnancies and no baby, all I wanted was to see my baby again.

All I could think about was, don’t let me die! I want my baby!

She was 2 years old then — I wasn’t ready to leave her.

At that moment, while I was gasping for air, all I could think of was her — and as I spoke those words under my breath, those hands that had been wrapped around my neck so tight, were now immediately removed from my throat.

The LORD spoke to me INSTANTLY, after his hands were suddenly ripped away from my throat.

The voice of God spoke clearly, “Be quiet! Keep praying and don’t say a WORD. That man is not your husband!”

Afraid, yet knowing, I heard those words clearly.

I prayed incessantly as I was being called all sorts of names by the demon controlling him.

I obeyed God.

You see, the truth that I didn’t understand at the time was this — the demon possessed my husband through the “alcohol and later, what I learned was also cocaine.”

So when God said it wasn’t “my husband,” He was referring to the demon spirit that had taken over him.

“The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy — but I have come that you may have life and life more abundantly,” John 10:10.

Demons come to possess people, through drugs, alcohol, lust, perversion and even sexual sin, etc.

Mine is a long story. There is so much more. What happened that night almost 20 years ago, sent me on a journey to know this Jesus even all the more.

He became my everything.

And every time another threat came upon my life — GOD was there!

I made it out. I made it out!!!!

I made it out, over and over and over, by the hand of God!

But the same man I married in 1996, that was taken over by that demon, didn’t make it.

He was killed in a car accident in 2003, while drinking and driving.

Listen! Pray for your loved ones.

Drugs and alcohol kills. But when you OBEY GOD and surrender all, you can live!

So the next time someone, anyone, in this world, tries to dim your light, you shine!

You shine!! You shine!!! Shine! Shine!! Shine!!!
