We Need Wisdom, Knowledge and Discernment!
Good morning.
“And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of The LORD is his treasure.” Isaiah 33:6 KJV.
We need wisdom which must include discernment also on matters.
First I will start with this question.
Do we need to listen to others who can truly and Godly instruct us?
The answer is a resounding, yes!
Instruction is a way of life, but a lot of people don’t want instruction.
White and grey hair are not always an indication of wisdom, but it should be.
Still a young person can be very wise and an old person can be very foolish.
True wisdom only comes from God!
The wisdom of God will teach us also to ask for more ‘discernment’ as needed.
Then true discernment will let us know who to let in closely to our lives for one thing.
Also we need true discernment not to get in the devils traps, many times.
It is most important in life who we ‘align‘ closely with.
I believe you can tell by now, most times my articles are for Christians.
Still there is always a call in my heart going out for the sinner to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!
Getting back here, some people we will choose as our friends.
Some we will choose as our mentors.
Then some the Lord may want us to mentor, even.
Then we have our families, that are God given and His choice.
Our brothers and sisters in the Lord are our families, forever!
Our associations do matter and are most important.
So choose wisely!
If their is control and manipulation in a person, beware!
We can waste valuable time and get sidetracked if we are not careful.
Wisdom and knowledge applied together is so important!
Enclosed in this article below, includes a word I heard The LORD speak on July 24, 2022.
Hope something today has perhaps helped you. That is my prayer.
Wisdom and Knowledge — Equals Great Stability & Strength in Him
“He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.” Proverbs 10:17
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20.
We see Solomon prayed in 1 Kings,
“Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?” 1 Kings 3:9
God bless you all
