Good morning.

This will be a two-part message today.

Considering our ways, is that admonishing some or all of us?

Surely the answer is everyone of us reading.

It starts and points to me first as bringing this message to light.

We must always have clean hands and a pure heart.

Let’s ponder and take before The LORD our ‘motives’ in all things we do.

That is Considering our Ways!

Everyone of us are important and needed in the Kingdom of God.

First, sit down and count the cost of being a Christian.

“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?” Luke 14:28.

Once you have counted the cost, determine I will follow Jesus.

There is no turning back point in this pilgrim walk!

Then let’s talk about do we have riches?

Who of you remembers this old song?

Some have riches and some of us don’t.

“But thou shalt remember The LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy. 8:18.

Still we should never despise the poor man!

Never give the rich a place of honor and treat the poor as scum under your feet.

“My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, The LORD of glory, with respect of persons. For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?” James 2:1-5.

It is surely not a shame to have riches, but there are some warnings to all of us too.

“Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.” James 5:1-3.

With that being said, if you have riches use all for the glory of God!

So many have done a lot of good with the blessings of The LORD.

I get so tired of hearing all Ministers of the gospel dumped in just one big pot!

We all need ‘balance’!

Be careful what you pronounce over God’s Anointed!

The LORD will certainly show up the greedy, motive wrong ministers of the gospel for sure !!

Still some leaders have been lied on and their motives twisted.

Other Christians in general, started out right but got in a snare of the devil.

“But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:9-12.

To lead in The Church, we should be building up the Kingdom of God always.

Leaders in Ministry need to be accountable to God first and then to mankind.

Everyone of us should be a good steward of not only our money, but our time and our talents.

“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” 1 Peter 4:10.

Yes, we all need to consider our ways in all things!

It is always a heart issue with The LORD.

I wish to close with these scriptures out of the Old Testament.

“Then came the word of The LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying, Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste. Now therefore thus saith The LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.Thus saith The LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith The LORD. Ye looked for much, and, lo it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith The LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house. Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit. And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.” Haggai 1:3-11.
