We Have Authority Over Darkness!

The Mindset of a Pioneer
You know how, when you are standing on a shore looking out upon a quiet bay, the ocean seems very calm and it seems as if nothing is happening in it.
However once you jump in over your head, you realize it is full of life. There was a whole world of life that could not be seen from the shores.
There were many things happening just underneath the surface. Many things you may not see happening right now, but just under the surface things are beginning to beam with life again.
Many things for you in this new year is coming to life again. You shall see the great things and the things just under the surface that you could not clearly see.
As we head into 2023, I keep hearing the word “Pioneer” in my spirit.
The LORD wants to ignite in us the mindset of a pioneer. God placed you and me in this hour in history, to point people to Jesus and make an impact in this generation.
Pioneers possess the heart of a warrior. Like David’s mighty men in the Bible, so we must have the heart of a warrior. mighty warriors are men like Benaiah and Eleazar.
Pioneers may not need to fight physically, but they must battle against the powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12) through prayer and by speaking out within the culture when the times require it.
You cannot afford to sit on the sidelines and do nothing. We must stand up and take action for God, whatever it requires!
People may tell you; you need to be less intense! But our response should be — you need to break out of your lethargy!
Where are the David’s of our day who run to the giants, and when they worship, they fling off their outer garments like David did and make a fool of themselves?
Where are the Apostle Paul’s of today, who say the love of God compels me — I have no choice?
Like David said when facing Goliath — Is there not a cause? Yes there is!
2022 was one for the books, and not in the best of ways. This year you may have felt like an old tree, completely stripped down and branches falling and breaking.
You may have felt as if your prayers were fruitless. The degree of warfare you faced had left you discouraged, exhausted, speechless.
At other times, your prayers was nothing but liquid — no words, just tears.
What I sensed The LORD speaking through this was that He wants to remove the dead things from us so that we can move to the new things he has for us.
Let not the fire on your altar go out! Put on the whole Armor of God! Watch and pray! Knock and seek!
You will surely find him! He is preparing his Bride for so much more! The Kingdom is coming and he is raising you up to walk in boldness. So much boldness that you could take on hell with a water pistol.
Let the incense of all prayers all over this nation rising before The Throne in this [past] New Years Eve cause an explosion of His Glory!
Get ready Mighty Warriors! Boots to the ground as we diligently march into 2023!
Don’t Let Your Spiritual Guard Down!
“Just as when Moses, Aaron, and Hur held up their hands in the time of battle with Amalek, Israel prevailed as long as their hands was up. Once they were down, Amalek prevailed!
Don’t let your spiritual guard down!
Keep those hands lifted up in prayer for those prodigal children, prodigal spouses, those situations you been contending for.
I know you get tired sometimes, even Moses got tired. He was also burdened and physically worn out. However he had two others with him that helped him to keep them held up.
I AM coming alongside you right now spiritually and saying “Keep those hands lifted to the hills from whence cometh your help!” You will win this battle!
There is a war going on so keep your hands stretched unto The LORD. Hold them up for that wayward child to find his way back to God.
Hold them up for that spouse and restoration of that broken home. Hold them up for that addict in a fight for their life.
Hold them up for the depressed and downtrodden.
Hold them up for that parent that is facing sickness or a sickness you are facing personally.
Hold them up when you feel like all hope is gone.
Hold them up through your storm.
Whatever your need may be, get those hands up and watch as you prevail in this battle rather than the enemy.
I know your hands are getting heavy, but just like Aaron and Hur, I AM coming alongside you in the spirit and propping your hands back up.
I AM encouraging you through this moment of discouragement that you will prevail in this.
I AM picking up that slack and making it easier for your hands as I too stand in agreement for your battles to be won.”
Just raise those hands to Heaven and watch what God is going to do!
Let Jesus into the Boat!
“And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.” Mark 6:48 KJV.
Can you see it? The disciples are doing what they have always done.
Jesus told them to get in the boat and go to the other side, and they did, only things got tough. So what did they do when things got difficult?
They tried harder, worked harder, “strained at rowing” harder, all night long and into the early morning hours.
They were exhausted, worn out, about ready to give in and yet still had not made it to the other side — and all the while Jesus, casually walking on the water, is watching them while they struggled.
Jesus, the very key to victory, The LORD of all Creation, was outside of the boat, and the disciples were struggling to fulfill His command in their own effort.
But once Jesus got into the boat with them, everything changed. The winds ceased. The seas became calm. They made it to the other side!
You may be straining at rowing through life, full of doubt, fear and failure, and yet the other side seems so out of reach.
Let Jesus in the boat! Trust Jesus to fulfill His promises to you by His own efforts. Watch the seas become calm and your problems fade in the light of His glory.
The disciples made it to the other side! You will make it to the other side! You are leaving the storm behind you! Get your eyes off the problem and fix your eyes on Jesus.
Listen to these words and let go, “You cannot do this on your own, you don’t have to carry this around on your shoulders, you will not perish in the storm, you will live!”
The battle is The LORD’s — so stand still and watch God move!
We Have Authority Over Darkness!
Our LORD is the One who redeems our lives from destruction. He is a restoring, delivering, redeeming God!
He shall snatch us out of the power of darkness — for we have the authority over darkness.
The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; He will come and save you. For in this wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
He is giving you a newfound strength! You are coming out of this!
You could climb to the sky, He would be there.
If you went deep underground, He would be there.
You could take on the wings of the morning and soar to the farthest horizon and He would be there waiting.
Oh Yes, He sees you even when you are in the dark. Even at night, you are immersed in his light.
God will always take care of his children in the wilderness. You can chisel that in stone!

Praise our Lord, our God Who can do anything. Sometimes we don’t focus on Who our Lord God is and all that He can do and has done for us. This is a reminder of all our Lord is and that He is beside us, in us, and in every situation we face. With uplifted hands, I give Him all the Glory!
Thank you!
Amen, thank you for this. Powerful encouragement and truth.
