We all need to Tame the Tongue!
Let me warn some of you…
I don’t get into debates about when the Rapture is going to take place, as long as you know that there is a Rapture (if you don’t, then you probably need to get back into your word and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal it to you).
And most of you know that I don’t argue with people about things that truly don’t determine one’s salvation (i.e. Sabbaths, feasts, Christmas, denominations, food, your past, etc).
But let me just say this; we need to be careful about what we say about other believers.
When people go as far as saying that believers belong to Satan, or that certain things/ events are from Satan, you’re treading on dangerous ground. At the end of the day, God is only interested in the matters of the heart (King David is a great example of this). And what man can tell another man what lies in his heart unless the Spirit of The Lord reveals it?
Jesus told us to love, bless and pray for our enemies. But yet we slander, condemn, ridicule, and criticize other believers who aren’t even our enemies! Even David knew not to come against King Saul (1 Samuel 26:9) who was plagued with an evil spirit because of his rebellion.
Why is it that we justify the works and workers of Satan, but yet come against the believers who stumble and fall, or maybe just aren’t on the same skateboard as us? Does this not classify us as being the true workers of the evil one?
The Holy Spirit is the truth-bearer. He keeps the TRUE Body of Christ on one accord; not fifty different accords. This is why I constantly emphasize to know His voice for yourself.
If you’re busy being about your Father in heaven’s business, you won’t have time to ridicule ours; you’d be too busy searching for the lost and returning them to His fold. So tend to your own vineyard; because the little foxes have slipped in and are eating your fruit…
I will leave you with this scripture:
“Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and long suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads to repentance?” Romans 2:1-5.
Shalom
Shabbat Shalom
