We All Need a Hero!
I woke up hearing the old song, “I need a Hero..“ (See below).
These are the last days when all the world is looking for a hero to come and make things right.
We as Believers know that this Rescuer is Jesus! He is our Super Hero, amen? Today, you may be facing an impossible situation. Do not fear, Beloved. Our God hears the cries of the broken. And I heard, “I AM the Avenger of My People!”
“Beloved. I AM not a passive God who sits back and only observes My Children and their struggles. Oh My Child, I AM FOR you! I AM FOR you!
Fear not. I have not left you as orphans, Precious Ones. I have freed you by the Blood of the Lamb. I have freed you from the powers of darkness and translated you into My marvelous Light!
I AM He who rides the Heavens to your help! Oh yes, My Bride, I will never forsake you! Though what you face today may seem impossible, I AM the God of the impossible!
I AM He who is called Faithful and True! I AM He who sits upon the White Horse. True and Righteous are My judgements.
I AM He who avenges you and I shall bring down principalities and powers and nations and I shall free you from your enemies.
I have declared, ‘It is finished.’ My Eyes are Flaming with Passionate Fire and I shall not sit still, Beloved. Even now, I come to you!
I AM He who is your Savior, who rides the heavens to your help, and through the skies in His majesty. Fear not!
The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath you are My Everlasting arms; and I shall drive out the enemy from before you, saying ‘Destroy!’ Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; their foot shall slip in due time; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things to come hasten upon them!”
Avenge: Strong’s 1556 — to dispense justice, carrying a judgment completely through, i.e. with all that is appropriate to it; Legal protection, to redress, requite. To take vengeance for or on behalf of (Bible Tools) To exact satisfaction for (a wrong) by punishing the wrongdoer (Merriam Webster)
“The LORD lives, and blessed be my Rock! And may the God of my salvation be exalted the God who AVENGES me and subdues nations beneath me, who delivers me from my enemies. You exalt me above my foes; You rescue me from violent men!” Psalm 18:46-48.
“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God,” Revelation 19:11-13.
“After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has AVENGED on her the blood of His servants shed by her,” Revelation 19:1-2.
“There is none like God, O Israel, who rides through the heavens to your help, through the skies in His majesty. The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. and He thrust out the enemy before you and said, ‘Destroy.’” Deuteronomy 33:26-27.
“The God who AVENGES me and brings down nations beneath me, who frees me from my enemies. You exalt me above my foes; You rescue me from violent men. Therefore I will praise You, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing praises to Your name,” 2 Samuel 22:48-50.
“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord,” Romans 12:19.
“Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; their foot shall slip in due time; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things to come hasten upon them.’ For the Lord will judge His people and have compassion on His servants, when He sees that their power is gone, And there is no one remaining, bond or free,” Deuteronomy 32:35-36.
