There have been several reminders lately of Smith Wigglesworth’s 1939 prophecy about waves of Holy Spirit activity and Revival. (See “Revival — Are You Ready?“)

Indeed, I’ve posted several more words about wave after wave after wave of Revival. Yet the most vivid vision I’ve had relating to this is ‘Paddling Pools’ first posted in 2016!

Now The LORD is urging me to write about it once again — so here it is, this time with additional, fresh interpretation!

Paddling Pools

I am standing on a beach. The ocean — actually the English Channel — is before me stretching out to the continent of Europe.

All I can see is sea — no ships, not even small sail boats, just sea. As I walk along the shore, I suddenly become aware of people playing on the beach, splashing around in the water.

As I draw closer, I hear them singing a gospel song, “Love, vast as the ocean“, as they splash around.

Then I notice that they are in a paddling pool, filled with sea water, but a paddling pool is not the sea!

Even so, they are shouting encouragement to each other, “Come on in, the waters fine!”

Then I hear God speaking. “This is My Church! They think they have gotten into the Sea of My Love, but they have only just begun to sample it.

They have no real idea of the width, depth, and height of My Love. They have their sample and they think that’s all there is to it.

They are like those who pass a restaurant and smell the food, think it’s delicious, and move on to the next restaurant to smell the next “good food” without trying what is before them!

They think their Paddling Pool is all there is. They get their buzz and move on, looking for the next pool to paddle in.

They cannot see nor even imagine the vast expanse of sea that’s available to them. It’s like they’ve been given a wonderful present.

They are wide eyed in wonder and almost delirious with pleasure, so they put it away again to be bought out when they next want to taste what it holds.

They cannot imagine there is a vast supply, an unending supply. The sea beside them is everything that My Spirit holds for them — but they daren’t even believe for it let alone look at it.

Heaven forbid that they should dip their toes into the whole real thing!

Tell them! Tell them to get into and to explore the ocean of My Love, the vast expanse of My Holy Spirit.

He is just waiting for them to believe and step out of the pool of their limited belief, and into the ocean of My Provision!”

Now, in 2023, The LORD is speaking about those safe, harmless, and ineffective paddling pools once again.

Only the Remnant Church is taking The LORD seriously.

The LORD is waiting for the rest of His Church to wake up a little bit more!

If ever there was a time for The Church, The Ekklesia, to lay hold of everything available to them from God’s Holy Spirit, that time is NOW!

Even among The Remnant, there is some hesitation!

Hear the Word of The LORD today: “Why are you still playing in the Paddling Pool, the sample, of My love and gifts, when right here next to it lies the unfathomable depths of the Ocean of My Love and Provision for you?

You have not moved in the last eight years, and many more before that, but you expect Me to do all the moving for you.

You expect Me to move you and to move My Provision to you so that you only have to receive it!

Whose voice are you listening to? Your own? Your advisors? Your enemies? Satan? Anybody’s — but certainly not mine!” says The LORD.

“You are still, like children, playing at Church. Playing at Faith. Playing — even at Prayer!

Grow up! ‘When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.’(1 Corinthians 13:11)

It’s time to take Me. It’s time to take My Word very much more seriously.

You have cowered away from the world around you for far too long. It’s time to exert that Authority I’ve given you.

It’s time to impose the victory of The Cross, instead of just wishing and waiting for Me to do it!

The enemy of your soul is terrified of your Power and your Prayers. Yet you seem to ask his permission to do things when you worry about ‘offending’ others.

Use the Authority I have already given you!

Do you think Jesus worried about upset or offence He may have caused?

How about John the Baptist? Isaiah? Jeremiah? Daniel? Ezekiel? No? Use your Faith. Use your Authority.

I AM increasing your anointing — if you’re willing to use it!

I AM bringing you into the days of those ‘greater things’ that Jesus spoke about!

I AM The LORD. I have spoken it. Nothing can prevent my words achieving that for which they are sent!” saith The LORD God Almighty.
