The plumb-line is out; where do you stand and what do you need to get rid off in order to be victorious?

As long as Joshua remained faithful to the LORD he won the battle and even his enemies could not defeat him. But as soon as someone in his camp disobeyed God, he lost the battle!

God had made him the same promise that he made to Moses! The LORD promised him that if he would be strong and courageous he would be with him. But one of Joshua’s men sinned (his tribe) and they took of the accursed thing which God had warned them not to do, and because they did they quickly lost the battle and could no longer stand before their enemies as in time past! My LORD my LORD!

For, some God has placed a stipulation on their tribe that they will never get the battle until they get rid of and destroy the accursed thing(s) in their lives from among themselves!

Come on somebody! Some of you are still trying to hold on to somethings and people that God has specifically warned you to destroy and get rid of, but because you are like Achan and you have allowed the enemy to cause you to lust and covet after somethings that God has said to destroy, you are going to be defeated before your enemies!

Joshua could not understand why God had gone back on His promises until God spoke to him and said, “Get up off your face! Israel had sinned!”

Joshua went from tribe to tribe trying to find out who it was who was causing chaos in the camp, and when he came to the tribe of Achan he realized it was him. He had lusted and coveted after the Babylonian garment, silver and gold and took it and had hidden it among his stuff!

As requested and instructed by God, he took that whole tribe and destroyed his whole family for raising up that which God had commanded them to destroy.

I hear God saying, “Get up! Because many of you are walking with demons and devils in your tribe and some are hiding in the camp, as though they are apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, teachers and other worker and they are no more than counterfeit workers from hell!”

The LORD is warning the people of God, there is a difference and dividing line between clean and unclean!

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the LORD, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the LORD almighty,” 2 Corinthians 6:14-18.
