Warn the People of more Violence in the Land!
This morning in prayer, the LORD spoke to me to warn the people of God of more violence in the land.
We take authority over all violence and wickedness that would come against God’s people and this nation in the mighty name of Jesus.
The LORD said to me, that for many, unforgiveness has become the story of their lives!
Many folk simply cannot get past what someone did to them in life! But, what about what they did to Christ?
He endured it all, just so you would and could have eternal life! My God! In addition, He said that many are refusing to forgive, and as a result, the enemy is holding them in captivity.
The LORD said that there is no way that you can have the Favor and the Grace of God in your life, when you refuse to forgive others who have offended you, and rejected you.
The scriptures tells us that if we don’t forgive, neither will our heavenly Father forgive us! (Matthew 6:15) Remember, forgiveness is the way of the cross, and it is the reason that Christ hung on the cross in the first place!
The LORD said to tell the people to remove the idols in there hearts; to remove all substitutes (serving in the place of Him) for Him and the Holy Spirit!
I said LORD, what have we substituted in your place? He said, anything that gives us appetite and causes one to love it, more than they do him!
He said that many of us cannot give up food! We will spend our last dime to get food! He said that many of us love cars, houses, family, children, spouse, clothes, shoes, dresses, you love un-marital sex, our church, pastor and wife, denomination and other things, more than we love Him, and it is a sin!
He said that these things in themselves are not bad, but they can become bad when we place them in front on Him and we began to value them more than we do him!
“For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God and he will have no other before Him,” Deuteronomy 4:24.
Comforter: one who provides consolation like a warm quilt to the soul!
The LORD begin to say to me to warn the people that they have no use for any substitutes, because this is why He sent The Comforter (The Holy Spirit) in His place! He said, “But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you,” (John 14: 26).
Now, how is it many of us feel the need to overeat, can’t get enough sex, can’t get enough of going to the mall and the need to buy and to buy every opportunity they get, but they have no money for those in ministry, the homeless, and others in need. Help us Holy Ghost! The LORD is speaking today! I know it is tight, but it is right!
He said that many of us are given to appetite, because we want the praise of men. More than that, we want the praise of God, and this is where the appetite comes in! The warm comfort and substitute for other gods in our lives! We want self-ambition and recognition of others, who don’t have a heaven or a hell to place you in!
The LORD is not pleased with our self-ambitions or our desire to be recognized, because it leads us into the realm of idolatry! (Extreme desires admiration to reverence other gods). For, let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another, (Galatians 5:26).
Why? Because, these things bring about contention, strife, division, and disagreement in the house of God; as well as in families. It cause one to compete and to have respect of persons in the body of Christ, giving Satan the upper hand to destroy us among ourselves!
Does that mean we should not have nice things? Of course not, but they should never replace our God! The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out. Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom. Wealth gotten by vanity (pride) shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase, (Proverb 13:9-11).
The LORD said that the reason some of us cannot stop remarrying, is because we fail to realize that no one can substitute for God in the place and heart of another! Meaning our wife and or spouse, can never take the place of God and this is why we keep divorcing one for the other, because we are given to appetite and gluttony! In other words we need the Holy Ghost!
The LORD is calling for His people to yield unto Him and to die to self this morning – die to the things that are taking you away from Him and that are causing you to raise up other idols in your heart!
Those kids and families whom we love so much, that would cause us to forsake and to break covenant relationship with God. God wants you to get rid of those relationships that are unhealthy for you and to you!
There is nothing wrong with loving our children and our family (church as well), but they should never take the place of God in our lives!
What are you replacing God with, in your life?
God is looking for a people who will walk humbly with their God and will allow Him to comfort their hearts in this season. For, He is a jealous God and He will have it no other way!
