Warn the Body of Christ about Pride!
God is love; and they that love God will humble themselves and obey His laws!
The LORD is speaking to me to warn the body of Christ about pride and how it has hurt the church and our nation; as a whole. This afternoon, I saw something as I was talking to this young lady; she had a spirit that came to exalt one into walking in pride.
I quickly discerned the spirit and the enemy, even began giving her information regarding me, as she began walking in a familiar spirit. She was saying all the right things and she did show honor and show respect with what she was saying. I quickly discerned that it was attached with a familiar spirit.
“Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips,” Proverbs 27:2.
You see, familiar spirits are ancestral “familiar spirits” that can gain entrance into a person’s life through divination, transcendental meditation, visualization, necromancy, witchcraft (rebellion, pride), drugs, (medications that cause one to hallucinate) and alcohol. These are all activities that believers are exhorted to avoid.
Instead, we are to be filled with the Holy Spirit, with love, with joy, and with the fullness of life that comes from Jesus Christ. We are also to be on guard, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms,” (Ephesians 6:12).
Those who walk under the control of this spirit, use their familiarity to bring the same curses and problems that a person’s parents or ancestors encountered. In other words, familiar spirits are carriers of generational curses, passing the same afflictions from one generation to another. So, if you are walking in a spirit of pride and rebellion and or it was part of your blood line the enemy wants you to continue to walk in this spirit. Which is why many churches (families, ministries, and or government) have failed to grow and to thrive! You see, pride [goeth] before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall, (Proverbs 16:18).
So, as I begin meditating upon the LORD, He gave me the go ahead to speak on pride. He said that pride says nobody can do it better than you can do it.
Pride says the laws of God are for everybody else, and “you” are exempt from following God’s laws. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself, (Galatians 6:3). The greatest deception for the people of God is “self,” when we feel the Word of God does not apply to us; but is for everybody else – we walk in deception!
Rebellion and other related spirits began to block our blessings and the things that God has planned for us as a people. You see, this is why you see so many leaders are preaching “do as I say and not as I do,” messages in the body of Christ! No growth and prosperity can come from being disobedient, rebellious and walking in a spirit of pride!
You see, how can God bless what he hates? The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the forward mouth, (you get in the pulpit and everything that comes to your head you are quick to blurt it out! No matter who it hurts!) do I hate saith the LORD (Proverbs 8:13).
In fact, every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be un-punished, (Proverbs 16:5) These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren, (Proverbs 6:16-19).
All related to the spirit of Saul and Jezebel! Yet, many are wondering why it is that God is not blessing their families, business, ministries, and or church. Well, could it not be because of a spirit of pride?
The LORD begin to say to me that Church pride is the worst kind of pride. The pride that chooses to walk in its own way; instead of walking in the laws of God.
The pride that says, “it is my way or the highway!” Am I saying that you should not love, honor and respect your church? Of course not! You should love your Church, and speak well of your Church, but there is a danger of slipping into “Church pride,” when you feel that your church is the greatest, and other churches are inferior.
There is a danger in placing your denomination, religion, you’re pastor and other leaders above God! You see, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble, (James 4:6). For, the LORD is speaking and He is saying that pride leads one into a host of other sins such as: stubbornness, disobedience, anti-submissiveness, lawlessness, hatred of authority, disrespect, anger, and selfishness; as well as murdering others. And not only that, but spiritual pride manifests include self-righteousness, hypercritical attitudes, hypocrisy, scorning correction or guidance, putting on pretenses, and false humility.”
However, the LORD is sending the prophets and others to cry against such behaviors in order to bring the people and the nation back to a place of humility; as well as order.
“When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land,” 2 Chronicles 7:13-14.
Repentance from pride, disobedience and rebellion is needed. Fasting is one of the biblical ways to humble the soul. Humility, repentance, and fasting are keys to breakthrough for the nation. Until we can do like, 2 Chronicles 7: 13-14, we will remain in a place of arrogance and pride.
Just as Nebuchadnezzar, who was a mighty conqueror; who ruled an entire empire at one time in his life, he had majesty, glory, and power; people bowed and trembled before him. He was proud, and one could suppose with good reason. And yet God humbled the mighty king Nebuchadnezzar. Just as he will those who are in ministry, church, and our nation who are refusing to humble themselves before the LORD almighty.
Many folk have an attitude that they don’t have to humble themselves and to show reverence and respect before God and their fellowman, but God is not pleased when we walk in such arrogance!
And, this is why God sent judgement upon Nebuchadnezzar. He said, “They shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most high ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws,” Daniel 4:32-33.
It does not have to come to this, because we can humble ourselves and seek the LORD, instead.
For, when pride cometh, then cometh shame; but with the lowly is wisdom, (Proverbs 11:2) and, everyone, [that is] proud in heart [is] an abomination to the LORD: [though] hand [join] in hand, he shall not be unpunished, (Proverbs 16: 5).
Come back to God!

That Is awesome teaching. Thank you
