Walk in the Spirit in Leadership!
Some of you will never be elevated to leadership, because you are moved by your emotions and not by God’s Spirit!
You can’t allow the discomfort of a encounter with a person to be a reason for dismissal or disconnection.
Some persons are assigned to you, who are a thorn to you, but you have what it takes to get them to their deliverance.
So often those around me don’t understand my reason for dealing with some persons, and if I allow their emotions to govern me, I will find myself in trouble with God, because I will abort a assignment, because they seem uncomfortable with the person.
There are times when they make accusation as if I’m afraid of letting somebody go, or the person is controlling me, or some other reason, because they state what they would do if it was them.
One thing I do, is learn a lesson well and I learnt early on in my walk of leadership, that if you don’t complete the assignment with a person, then you will continue to go back and forth with them until God gives the release.
So I have learned how to remain focus and to work the process through with people, no matter how long it takes.
People have to learn that when God purposes a thing, He knows how to give you the grace to go through it.
One thing that irritates me, are people trying to question me about something that is not their business, neither is it part of their process. I always tell people that those who God assigns to me, doesn’t have anything to do with their relationship with me.
For some reasons people think that whose whom God connects to you, have to be connected to them, or those who you have a relationship with, they have to also.
I always tell people, don’t connect to a person just because you see me dealing with them. Some are assignments of ministry, some deliverance, some a bridge to another connection.
I tell preachers, don’t invite somebody to preach, just because they are connected to me, because some are gifted, but their character is messed up and my assignment with them is to help them walk in integrity and honor.
You see, as leaders, sometimes we have been assigned to deal with persons of questionable behavior, bad spirits, ugly attitudes and ungodly character. We work with them until either they change their behavior, or God says the assignment is over, because they won’t change.
Either way, we can’t abort, disconnect or dismiss them, until God tells us to.
Do we sometimes get tired of dealing with persons who may be jealous, envious or dislike us? Yes we do, but we obey God, because we know the consequences of disobedience.
Everybody who God connects to you may not be good, honorable or godly, but God has graced you with the ability to work with them until your time with them is up.
Never allow others to push you out the will of God concerning somebody, because they don’t understand or it is uncomfortable. Sometimes God has the person there not only for you to help, but also to get those around you to their place of destiny.
Sometimes that one person who bothers everybody’s spirit is the one person God is using to correct everybody’s attitudes.
Learning to walk in godly love requires you to love your enemies. That one person that vexes you, perhaps is God’s instrument to make you.
Leaders, sometimes we need that enemy, that thorn, that vexation to mold and shape our character and to help us continue to maintain the walk of love!
I don’t question God’s methods of deliverance, teaching and training. I just submit to the process and allow Him to make me the way He chooses.
One thing I do know, is dealing with people whom I know hate me, are jealous, or have issues, has taught me godly qualities that have helped me to maintain a Holy and righteous walk of humility and obedience. They have kept me from becoming prideful and a man pleaser.
I have truly learned patience, love, longsuffering, how to be kind, and how to definitely honor and respect God.
Dealing with them has given me a sure prayer and fasting lifestyle and kept me with my armor on!
Walk in the Spirit and you won’t fulfill the lust of your flesh!
Blessings, and enjoy your process!
