Waiting is a Weapon!
Waiting, is a weapon that many do not realize in is their arsenal of tools to be used against the enemy.
Many don’t look on waiting as a weapon, but truly, it’s one of the best weapons we have to overcome the enemy and draw closer to The LORD.
We as a people, do not generally like to wait on someone. Most people are in a hurry and want everything in a microwave minute or sooner!
But it is in waiting on The LORD that we learn to trust Him more.
It is in waiting on The LORD that we begin to see Him through new eyes.
It is in waiting that The LORD begins to reveal His heart to us in expanded versions, because we are proving ourselves to be faithful and true to Him.
Even as we wait on God, we learn to settle ourselves to begin to look through The LORD’s eyes and not ours. When we wait we begin to have the patience we’ve long thought had evaded us.
But to wait on God is easy for some, much harder for others. All you have to do is go into a room, with no electronic devices, no distractions, and simply wait on God.
Give yourself over to Him in worship and let Him control it all. Let Him do what He wants to do, and forget about you. Get over the idea that you’re in a hurry, or have to be somewhere by a certain time.
Forget about how you look, because God has seen you since before you were born, so that includes naked, so you don’t have to be dressed up, have on makeup, or your best whatever.
So what is important is God, and that you give your all to Him, not to you, or anyone else. It’s all about Him.
Once you start consistently waiting on Him, you will begin to realize the benefits in your relationship with Him, and the signs, wonders, and miracles that will begin to follow.
Remember it’s all about Him. Jesus was the one who said, “But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well,” (Matthew 6:33).
In seeking Him, by waiting on Him, we are seeking His Kingdom. We are being obedient to the first thing that He has told us to do.
Maybe that’s why it is so hard for so many to be still and wait on Him. The enemy is fighting us hard to try to keep us from being obedient.
That means, we have to set our faces like flint (Isaiah 50:6-8) and our eyes on Him, and Him alone, so that we get everything He has for us.
That means we have to move forward in our relationship with Him, so that we can fully learn and do what He is calling us to do.
Oh yes, saving others, well, if we are doing everything God tells us to do, that will come into play in His timing, so that as we move into signs, wonders, and miracles, because of our obedience in waiting on The LORD, the unsaved will flock to be saved.
We then have to follow-through with helping them in their relationship with The LORD, so that they too, will walk in signs, wonders, and miracles, and God’s plan for us is repeated.
But seeking His Kingdom is the most important thing to seek first, according to Jesus, and we do that through waiting on Him.
Not running ahead of Him and doing what we want to do, when we want to do it, but waiting on Him, worshiping Him, and giving yourself over to Him.
God Bless You!

Remember Lot’s wife? I’m not her. I believe and want change for the Body of Christ to walk in the OBEDIENCE & HOLINESS OF GOD. That is the way, the truth, and the life of Christ that we are to want to be like in this season and in the days ahead. We need a relationship with our LORD NOW more than ever before. God has allowed me to minister all over the world through the internet, and in person through conferences, church services, and small groups. My heart is to see the Body of Christ walk in freedom that God means for them, so they can develop a deep intimacy with Father God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. I minister to others through prophetic words, and other gifts, bringing breakthrough and calling people into a constant pursuit of God’s Heart to actively hear God’s voice for themselves and others. I try to be the best servant of God that I can be, with lots of help from God, Holy Spirit, and Jesus.
Awesome. Love it. Thanks Sister.
Agree! God Bless you! I too had a similar experience about 2.5 yrs ago BUT GOD has almost totally restored me now. Waiting is so worth it, but can be a hard lesson to learn. Thanks so much for sharing!
I had a massive stroke on July 2, 2006 and the Lord said to me I was being tested as Job. It’s been 13 years and 98% of my body has been restored as the Lord promised, but what about the other 2%…it’s coming, because the Lord does not lie. I have learned by waiting obedience, trust in the Lord, patience; meanwhile the Spirit has purged and crucified my flesh and I have a closer relationship with the Father and the Son. I would not trade this for anything. He is also preparing me for a great ministry with His power to bring Glory to Him. And since the Spirit has trained me in warfare as a Warrior I am even stronger than ever.
